In many different traditions lighting a candle is a sacred action. It expresses more than words can express. It has to do with gratefulness. From time immemorial, people have lit candles in sacred places. You may want to begin or end your day by the sacred ritual of lighting a candle on this gratefulness. June 8, 2020 – June 14, 2020

This week is not going to be a great week astrologically and it is because of one planet: Neptune. So, brace yourself! If you need to get anything done this week, then it is best to do it between Monday and Wednesday when lunar aspects dominate. It is a great time to focus on work-related activities, completing tasks, and connecting with your social circle. Networking will be key through the beginning of the week.

The energy shifts wildly on Thursday when the Sun forms a nasty square to Neptune in Pisces. Our energy levels will plummet and feelings of discouragement, victimization, and being overwhelmed by life’s circumstances are going to permeate your day. Your serenity levels will be directly proportional to your expectations and idealizations, minimize them as much as possible for more harmony and balance. Avoid shady people!

This weekend we get another dose when the action planet Mars conjoins Neptune. Again, energy levels are going to be low and frustrations may lead to irritability. Avoid taking any actions that are not well thought out or planned because when Mars conjunct Neptune we tend to make mistakes, and some of them can have troubling consequences.

Candle Suggestions for this week are BHC Stability, Energy, AFF Goddess, High John the Conqueror

Saddle Up, June is Crammed with Cosmic Activity
CoventryCreations.com

June is crammed with cosmic activity, which the sign of Gemini might appreciate considering its normal frenetic energy. This month’s highlights are two potent eclipse’s and Mercury goes retrograde in watery cancer.

Until the 21st, the sun is in Gemini, the sign of the twins and, psychologically speaking, twins represent duality and can indicate that two sides of the personality are at odds with one another. Consider that during the June Gemini season we are facing “our dark side” and bringing both the ‘shadow and light’ sides of our personality together to help us live well-rounded and authentic lives.

The first eclipse is a Full Moon eclipse that occurs in Sagittarius and reflects our need to look at the big picture, and how we are going to maneuver through a “new normal” that is both uncertain and unknown. At times, we may experience some feelings of confusion, self-doubt, and disorientation because the eclipse squares Mars conjunct Neptune in Pisces. So, expect a learning curve with new regulations and new rules.

Candles for the Sagittarian Lunar Eclipse are Blessed Herbal Truth and Justice, Inner Balance, and Hoo Doo Van Van.

Ruby’s Astro Readings
First Part of June Astro Update
https://rubysreadings.com/

There is so much going on in the world right now, I honestly didn’t have time to write all of June’s Astro Updates. But here is some info about the first half of the month, especially during the first week. ~Ruby

The first half of June 2020 can be a bit confusing, as underlying tensions seem to be coming out to be dealt with.

Even though around the 3rd we could have some lovely things to say with the Sun/Venus Conjunction, a rather tense aspect when the Sun squares heated up Mars in Pisces can bring up and out the truth in our relationships, and that might not be so pretty. But at least we won’t have a problem being honest with each other.

The Sun conjuncts Venus from the 3rd to the 5th, and this might just be a welcome reprieve from all the hostility and anger of the past week. It won’t last too long folks due to the Full Moon energies and all the other cosmic connections underway. But we might just be able to find some light at the end of the tunnel, as our inner light gets to shine once again and take over the darkness. Use this time to find some inner peace within and hold onto that feeling, and hold onto that energy for as long as you possibly can!

The Full Moon in Sagittarius is also a Lunar Eclipse on the 5th, and this means it’s truth-telling time. So if you’ve got secrets you may want to come clean now before this energy hits. When the Full Moon gets into an intense square with both warlike Mars and delusional Neptune, our discussions may get too real, and our fantasies are called out for the illusions they are. It’s a time when mistakes are pointed out, and some folks may not be able to handle it. When Mercury forms a tense square to wounded healer Chiron at the same time self-doubt can kick in, and we can lose our confidence. During this time, it’s best to not believe everything you hear, read, or think. Depression may also set in, so make sure to keep communicating the way the Sun in Gemini intended, and talk to someone about your sadness.

From June 1st through the 10th, tensions will be high, especially when the Sun forms a tense square to Mars on June 6th. These influences are a test and we can be challenged by competitors and enemies. Basically, if things don’t calm down with the violence associated with the protests, a lot of people will feel like taking matters into their own hands and decide to come out and join the crowds, while hoping that things will calm back down. People are more than ready to take a stand now, but not allow their towns or businesses to be destroyed at the same time. The National Guard might just get called in, but only if it goes this far. The aspect coming together on June 6th will be felt during the first week of June and it is a build of angry energy. It could be from the lockdown due to the Virus, and the anger folks are carrying around from the events in Minneapolis last week. If you feel resentful or angry within yourself, try to do what you can peacefully, it’s ok to go to a March but don’t destroy property. Do not allow this rage to consume you. If we are not at ease within ourselves often the body will take on disease of some kind, so remember that.

As Mars transits through the sign of Pisces and the Sun in Gemini, there can be more lies, deceptions, and betrayal that comes out. Things are not what they seem and the media is not being completely honest on what they are reporting, go figure! There is a lot more happening behind the scenes with this crisis in the US. So there is more to the story! Life will not be peaceful during this time, so it’s important to find that space of peace within yourself during these times. There is a lot of emotional unrest with the planet of War, Mars being in the sign of Pisces the sign of healing over the next week.

On June 11th the Sun squares foggy Neptune, and motivated Mars is conjunct Neptune a few days later. This energy can make us feel like escaping from our normal routines, and doing something new or different. Otherwise, we can feel helpless and anxious. So don’t be discouraged if things don’t turn out exactly as you might have liked. Take a break and get away for a little while.

On June 18th, mental Mercury in Cancer (it has been slowing down and getting ready) as it goes into its Retrograde phase. So except for Mars, all the personal planets will appear to be moving backward through the Zodiac and be in their Retrograde phases. It is a good time to think about all that has happened over the last few months because my goodness has there been a lot! This is a time to go within yourselves and review all that you have been through and feeling. Work on healing yourselves and your hearts.

Llewellyn’s Spell A Day

Understanding Life’s Lessons Spell
June 07, 2020 by Thuri Calafia

For this spell, you’ll need a white candle, a small round piece of mirror, and a bowl of water. Place the mirror in the bowl of water, face up. Carefully light the candle and hold it so the wax drips onto the surface of the water, allowing yourself to go into a light trance. Ponder your question while chanting:

I am open to learning the truth.
I am brave and I am wise.
Lord and Lady, help me to know
So in truth and in love, I can rise!

Let the chant fall off as your trance deepens and the energy flows into the wax and water.

When you’re ready, place the candle beside the bowl again, and see what you can read in the wax. Don’t worry if no messages come immediately—sometimes it takes a few days for things to fall into place. Remember that messages can come in many forms. Know that clarity will come, and be blessed.

Blessing the Rice or Seeds
June 06, 2020 by Michael Furie

June is still a traditional time for people to get married, and throwing rice at the couple was once a wedding staple. The practice is still performed on occasion, though throwing birdseed has gained popularity. In either case, once all of those little baggies are bundled with rice or seeds, they can be charged with the magic of fertility and prosperity, which is what they are supposed to symbolize.

When the bundles are created, they are usually gathered together in a basket, and this is where they can be blessed. Holding your hands over the basket, visualize pure white light streaming into the basket, bathing the bundles in magical power, and say:

Delicate bundles, you will be;
talismans of prosperity; bringing
fortune wherever you land;
future blessings close at hand.

Illuminate Your Path
June 05, 2020 by Melissa Tipton

The seeds of intention planted at the new moon are ready for harvest as the moon hangs full in the sky, and this harvesting is supported by taking real-world action. While we might never be privy to our entire life’s path in advance, the light of the full moon illuminates our next steps, guiding our actions to best effect. To tap into this guidance, recite the following under the light of the full moon. You can also brew a cup of your favorite tea and allow the moon’s reflection to play on the surface, infusing the tea with its energy. Enjoy your magical brew as you perform the spell. Say:

On this eve of full moon light,
My path’s revealed and shining bright.
Guide my actions, step by step,
And my highest goals shall all be met.

Spend some time in meditation, journaling any insights that arise. The next morning, take your first action step to reap your full moon harvest.

Protecting Our Sacred National Spaces
June 04, 2020 by Barbara Ardinger

For the past four years, our national parks, our waters, even the air we breathe have been in peril as protective measures have been erased from our laws. What will remain for future generations? Is our nation turning into a dystopia? It’s time to do both practical work and protective spellwork.

First, we can donate to organizations like the Sierra Club, Greenpeace, and Friends of the Earth. Second, we can do volunteer work with local environmental groups. Third, we can work at our altars. If enough of us take action, the energy can build into a critical mass that will lead to positive change.

Begin by laying Tarot cards III (the Empress) and IV (the Emperor) in the center of your altar. Then visualize cards zero (the Fool) and I (the Magician) having a little meeting. Set the Fool and the Magician at the sides of the Empress and the Emperor. Visualize them making plans to protect the land, water, and air.

Empress Empowerment Spell
June 03, 2020 by Laura Tempest Zakroff

The Empress card in the Major Arcana of the Tarot reminds us to hold onto our sovereignty. If we yield our power too much to others, we can lose it. Far too often, we’re not even aware that we’re doing it!

Pull the Empress card from your deck and place it in front of you. Next shuffle the cards and pull three more, placing one to the lower left of the Empress, the second to the lower right, and the third directly below.

The card on the left signifies what or who may be draining you. The card on the right suggests what you need to focus on more in order to stop or prevent that loss. The last card in the center gives the potential outcome of your situation and additional guidance for you.

The Strength of Family
June 02, 2020 by Susan Pesznecker

Use this simple charm to honor and preserve your family’s bond. You’ll need scissors, a variety of colored construction paper, and colored pens. You might also want to include small stickers, glitter, or anything else you might use to adorn a paper chain. Before beginning, bless the materials with these words:

Link by link, a chain is forged,
Our family’s love is its own reward.

Gather the family together around a worktable in a much-used family space. Cut the construction paper into 8 x 1-inch strips. Each family member writes family memories on the links or otherwise decorates them. (For extra magic, work with sigils, runes, and the like.)

Stapled together, the links become a chain, and when the chain’s ends are connected, a strong circle is formed.

Display this in your home, or perhaps save it for December’s Yule tree. When you pause in front of it, say:

Our family chain is brilliant and strong,
Our love and pride will be ever-long.

Planting Good Health
June 01, 2020 by Charlynn Walls

The Roman goddess Carna celebrates her festival on this day. She is the goddess of health and protects the vital organs. Offerings made to her were beans and bacon, as the ancient Romans thought that these items promoted good health. She is the goddess to call on if someone is ill.

On a slip of paper, write the name of the individual for whom you are making your petition. Wrap the paper into the shape of a bean. Take this “bean” and plant it outside with other beans or a small piece of bacon. Carna will provide strength to the individual.

Heartwings Love Notes 934
Lemons Are Lovely For Summer

Heartwings says, “Tart lemons put the tang into summer fun.”

How about a nice tall glass of lemonade on a hot summer day? If you make up some sugar syrup ahead of time, you can make yourself a glass any time you wish. Mix half to a whole squeezed lemon into a glass or perhaps a frosty mug, p to sweeten, stir well and add ice. Here’s the recipe for the sugar syrup: Measure one cup water into a small pan. Add up to 1 cup sugar slowly, stirring it in. Stir over medium heat only just until well dissolved. Remove from heat and cool. Pour into a glass jar, screw on the top, and keep in the ‘fridge until you need it. You will probably need only a couple of tablespoons, though if you want your lemonade quite sweet you might use more.

Lemon meringue pie is relatively easy to make, however if it’s hot and you don’t wish to turn on the oven, just fold the meringue into the filling instead of putting t on top and browning it. It makes a nice fluffy pudding and is lots less work. Too, you can always beat the egg whites stiff adding more sugar follow cookbook directions for meringue nests, fill with pudding and top with whipped cream. Perhaps you’ll try this old-fashioned recipe Lemon Sponge Dessert: Ingredients: 2 Tbs soft butter,1 cup sugar, 4 Tbs flour, 1/4 tsp salt, 1 lemon, grated rind and juice or 3 Tbs lemon juice, 2 tsp grated rind, 1 1/2 cups milk, 3 eggs separated.

Method: Preheat oven to 350. In a large bowl, cream butter. Add sugar, flour salt, lemon juice and rind. In a separate bowl, beat egg yolks; stir in milk. Slowly add second mixture to first mixture. Beat egg whites until stiff; gently fold into mixture. Pour into ramekins or individual soufflé dishes and place in pan of hot water. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes. You will have a layer of lemon custard, with a, lightly browned sponge on top. Let cool a bit. Turn out and serve with whipped cream, or serve still in the dish. You can also bake this in one large souffle dish. It is a nice dessert for a special occasion.

May your lemons taste sweet regardless how you use them.

Getting Run Down
by Madisyn Taylor

Getting worn out and run down robs you of receiving what you need from the universe.

Our natural state of being is vibrant, happy to be alive. Yet, there can be times when we feel run down and worn out. This does not mean that we are lazy or unfit for the tasks in our lives; it means that we need to recharge our batteries and find a way of keeping them charged. Vitamins and extra rest can be very helpful in restoring our physical bodies. And if we are willing to delve deeper, we may discover that there is an underlying cause for our exhaustion.

Whenever you are feeling run down, take an honest look at how you have been thinking, feeling and acting. You will likely find a belief, behavior pattern or even a relationship that is out of alignment with who you really are. Perhaps you believe you have to be perfect at everything or you have been bending over backwards to get people to like you. Maybe you are dealing with mild depression or simply have too much on your plate right now. There may also be people or situations in your life which are draining your energy. Once you get clear on the root cause, you can weed it out and better direct your flow of energy in the future.

In time, you might notice that the reasons you feel run down have less to do with how much you are doing and more to do with the fact that in your heart, you would rather be doing something else entirely. From now on, try and listen to what your heart really wants. It may take meditation, or just a moment of silent tuning in to gain the clarity you need, but it is well worth the effort. When you know what you truly want to do, and honor that in all situations, you will find that getting run down is a thing of the past.

Can Tea Reduce Depression?
~Andrew Weil, M.D.

Several studies have found that regular tea drinking can reduce the symptoms of depression, at least among seniors. The latest investigation, by researchers from the National University of Singapore and Shanghai’s Fudan University, looked at tea drinking habits among 13,026 individuals in China aged 65 and older who were participants in a healthy longevity survey. The investigators tracked each individual’s history of tea drinking from age 60 until the time he or she was assessed. They saw what they termed a “virtually universal link” between tea drinking and lower reports of depression, although they found that these benefits were strongest for men between the ages of 65 and 79 who reported consuming tea almost every day since the age of 60. These men also exhibited better cognitive function than those who consumed less tea. Other factors related to a lower risk of depression included living in an urban setting, being educated, married, financially comfortable, in better health, and socially engaged.

A positive link between tea and a lower risk of depression in China also emerged from a review of 11 studies that included data on 22,817 participants published in 2015. Here, researchers determined that individuals who drank the most tea had a lower risk of depression and that drinking three cups a day decreased the risk of depression by 37 percent.

Another study published in June 2019 found evidence of the “positive contribution of tea drinking” to brain structure and suggested a protective effect of tea on the age-related decline in brain organization. The researchers concluded that tea drinking might be a simple lifestyle choice to benefit brain health.

Even earlier research from Singapore suggested that drinking tea daily can help cut the risk of dementia in half among people age 55 and older and reduce it even more among those genetically at risk for Alzheimer’s disease. It showed that the more tea an individual drank, the stronger the protective effect. What kind of tea the participants consumed – black, green or oolong – didn’t matter, as long as it was real tea brewed from leaves of the Camillia sinensis plant. The researchers attributed the reduced risk of cognitive problems to the bioactive compounds in tea, including catechins, teaflavins, thearubigins and L-theanine, all of which have anti-inflammatory and antioxidant potential that may help protect the brain. However, they wrote that their understanding of the detailed biological mechanisms underlying the reduced risk is “still very limited.”

Noticing Synchronicity
by Madisyn Taylor

Things happen in our lives for a reason, even if that reason is not clear to you right away.

When events appear to fit together perfectly in our lives it may seem at first that they are random occurrences, things that are the result of coincidence. These synchronous happenings, though, are much more than that, for, if we look at them more closely they can show us that the universe is listening to us and gently communicating with us. Learning to pay attention to and link the things that occur on a daily basis can be a way for us to become more attuned to the fact that most everything happens in our lives for a reason even when that reason is not clear right away.

When we realize that things often go more smoothly than we can ever imagine, it allows us to take the time to reflect on the patterns in our lives. Even events that might not at first seem to be related to each other are indicators that the universe is working with, not against, us. This idea of synchronicity, then, means that we have to trust there is more to our lives than what we experience on a physical level. We need to be willing to look more closely at the bigger picture, accepting and having confidence in the fact that there is more to our experiences than immediately meets the eye. Being open to synchronicity also means that we have to understand that our lives are filled with both positive and negative events. Once we can recognize that one event is neither more desirable nor better than the other — they all have an overall purpose in our lives — then we are truly ready to listen to the messages the universe gives us.

While we may not be able to see everything in our lives as being synchronous, we can certainly use hindsight to be more aware of how the universe guides us. This sense of wonder at the mysteries of the universe and the interconnectedness present in our lives will help us see our overall ways of being and will in turn make it easier to work more consciously towards our spiritual evolution.

Want To Calm Your Mind? Try This Yoga Pose
https://www.drweil.com

Our current situation as it pertains to the coronavirus has led to much worry and concern. Seeking regular methods to bring peace and balance are essential. The Bridge Pose is a powerful tonic for body and mind. It provides an invigorating stretch for the chest, neck and spine. Traditionally, its benefits are said to also include:

Calming the mind and alleviating stress and mild depression
Stimulating abdominal organs, lungs and thyroid
Rejuvenating tired legs
Improving digestion
Relieving the symptoms of menopause
Reducing anxiety, fatigue, backache, headache and insomnia

It is also believed to be therapeutic for asthma, high blood pressure, osteoporosis and sinusitis. See how to do the Bridge Pose.

“You can practice the Bridge Pose to both strengthen and stretch your back. This pose also lengthens and loosens the hamstrings, improving circulation and promoting overall relaxation.” – Andrew Weil, M.D.

Description & History:
The yoga pose known in English as the Bridge Pose is called Setu Bandha Sarvangasana in Sanskrit, which translates literally as “construction of a bridge.” The pose name comes from the words setu meaning bridge, bandha meaning lock, sarvanga meaning limb, and asana meaning posture. The Bridge Pose is commonly used to stretch and strengthen the back and abdominal muscles as well as open the lungs and chest.

How to Perform the Bridge Pose

Begin in supine position on floor. If necessary, place a folded blanket or yoga mat under shoulders to protect upper back and neck. With bent knees, place feet flat on the floor and parallel, no more than hip-width apart. Keep arms to the side of your body with palms on the floor for stability.
Exhale and slowly lift hips toward the ceiling, keeping the knees and thighs parallel. Engage the muscles of your lower back, buttocks, thighs and abdomen to keep the body taut and firm. Lift the hips until the body is flat from chest to knees.
Keep the neck loose by lifting the chin away from the body. This movement will help you to avoid placing too much strain on the neck.
Maintain the pose for 30 seconds to one minute. Once you are ready to release, exhale and slowly roll the spine down starting from the neck and ending at the hips, one vertebra at a time. Repeat the pose once more if your body feels comfortable.

Potential Health Benefits

Stretches the back and can alleviate low back pain
Opens chest and hip flexors
Strengthens abdominals and core muscles
Improves digestion
Improves flexibility of the spine and hips

Yoga poses that focus on the lower back such as the Bridge Pose have been shown to alleviate back pain. Investigators compared the effects of yoga and physical exercise on patients who experience chronic lower back pain. During a seven-day period, investigators found the patients who engaged in yoga had a greater improvement in spinal flexibility and a reduction in lower back pain than those patients who engaged only in physical exercise. The study was published in the June 2012 edition of the Complementary Therapies in Medicine.

Modifications & Variations
Beginners must keep the shoulders rolled under to prevent overstretching the neck. Lift the top of the shoulders toward the ears and push the shoulder blades away from the spine.

Beginners should also start with a yoga block under the sacrum (also known as the “tailbone,” the small triangular bone at the base of the spine) to alleviate pressure on the back. Start with the yoga block to the side of the body and move it under the sacrum once the body is in the Bridge Pose. Once the yoga block is in place, the body can return to the start position and rest atop the block.

Advanced practitioners can perform two extra movements to “deepen” the Bridge Pose. One is to extend the arms and place them above the head with the backs of the hands and arms on the floor. This movement engages the muscles of the body by reducing stability the arms provided. Advanced practitioners can also lift the heels off the floor and lift the hips higher.

Precautions:
People with knee, back, or neck pain should avoid performing the Bridge Pose without consulting a doctor. It is important to ensure your shoulder blades are supporting your full weight and not your neck. It is recommended that you place a folded towel or yoga mat under the shoulders to prevent slipping on the floor and to reduce pressure on the neck and shoulders. As you do bridge pose, you can also interlace your fingers, place them under your buttocks and press them down into the mat. This will increase stability.

Ramon’s Party
by Stephen Halpert

Ramon’s party was well underway as Gilberto arrived. His buddies greeted him. Someone handed him a rum punch. He grinned and sniffed appreciatively at what smelled like pot from the parlor.
Ramon’s wife Rosa was yelling at her kids, telling them not to drink the dregs in the glasses. “Germs,” she shouted.
There was a deli spread on the dining room table. Gilberto slathered smoked salmon on a cracker. Ramon greeted him with a brotherly hug.
“Rosa wants you to meet her sister Lola, Lola Cortez.”
Gilberto grinned. “What’s so bad about that?”
“She wants a reliable man even more than you want a wife.”
His eyes lit up. “Cool.”
“But I don’t know about kids. She may be a little past all that.”
He chewed his smoked salmon. “So how old is she?”
Ramon sounded purposely vague. “I think Rosa said she was somewhere inside forty. What can I tell you, she’s my sister in law?”
Gilberto refilled his glass of rum punch.
“Growing up Rosa was always a stay at home type. Took care of everybody,” Ramon said. “Lola hit the road at fifteen and never looked back.” He took a slice of ham and shrugged. “Always made big money as a cabaret dancer. Top billing till her back gave out.”
Gilberto grimaced. “I know what that can feel like.”
Ramon’s little girls all decided to scream at once.
Gilberto flinched. “How can you put up with that?”
Ramon grinned. “Preview of coming attractions.”
He looked confused. “No, no, my sons won’t scream ever. They’ll be polite always.”
Ramon looked askance at him. “You may be a magician when it comes to shipping but you haven’t got a clue about kids.”
Rosa smiled at Gilberto. She turned to Ramon. “I don’t want pot in the apartment. Tell them to sit outside on the porch if they want to smoke. I don’t want it to stink up the furniture.” She turned to Gilberto. “I want you to meet my sister Lola.” She led him into the kitchen.
At first h e couldn’t figure out Lola’s hair. She was tall, full bodied with lots of leg the way he liked them but her hair made no sense: a mish mash of color and blond streaks. Still, he liked her smile and sense of confidence.
“This is Gilberto,” Rosa told her sister. “He works with Ramon and as far as we know he isn’t married.” Her voice softened. “But between you and me he’s a throwback to the old stone age.” Then one of the daughters yelled and she rushed off.
Showing his approval, Gilberto grinned. “Whatever Lola wants….”
She eyed him speculatively, smiled and said in a low voice. . “Usually Lola gets what she wants. Ramon says you want to have lots of kids.”
“Sons,” he corrected her.”
He liked the fullness of her body sheathed in black silk. She was big and juicy like a rare steak. He sipped his punch. “Been living here long?”
Back less than a month.” She noticed his strong arms and a slight limp on his left side. “Bought a condo near the Boston Common.”
“I’m retired too,” he said. “Six seasons pro soccer league. Then the hip decided it was time for me to retire. Now I run shipping at Atlas.”
She smiled. “Sometimes the hips know a lot.”
She was absolute ripe fruit. He wanted to kiss her, hold her but that’s usually how he felt about most beautiful woman he’d encounter. He had learned it was best to go slow.
“You have that look in your eyes,” she grinned. “Whenever I’d dance, I’d see that same look in men’s eyes. Be honest, tell me what’s on your mind.”
He gulped. ” You! How I’d like to take you where we can be together. You’d be the boss. You’d run the show.”
She smirked. “Until I’m so captivated, I turn into some sort of dimwitted slave? Isn’t that the way you guys figure it?”
He looked perplexed, momentarily confused. “I don’t know. I don’t think of it like that.”
“Of course, not” She brushed her palm softly against his cheek. She couldn’t resist his little boy demeanor. “I like Atlantic City just when summer lets itself in.”
Her nodded. “What kind of dancing?”
“I was an entertainer.” She let it go at that.
“What kind?”
She laughed, a big throaty laugh.”Swimming with crocodiles.”
His eyes widened. “You do that?” He took more smoked salmon on a celery stick.
“But no more.,” she said. “I won the lottery, moved back to Boston, bought my condo and now that I’m retired from the entertainment industry, I’d like to meet a sweet guy like you and settle down.”
“You want children,” he prayed she’d say yes.
But instead she frowned. “I suppose if that’s what you wanted; we could try.” `
He looked at her intently. “I want my sons,” his voice lifted like a baritone in an opera.
She touched his cheek. “We could always adopt.”
“What for? I want my sons.”
Ramon came in carrying empties. “Did he ask you to marry him yet?
“He does that?” Lola seemed surprised.
Ramon nodded. “Someday he’ll find his angel. But whoever she is she’ll have to be an angel to put up him.”
. . “My sons will be soldiers,” he blurted. “Will lead their men to victory.” The rum punch had kicked in.
Lola looked at him quizzically. “Why would you send your sons to war? Why would any father want to send his sons off to fight and even die?”
Gilberto flexed his shoulders, felt warmer. He peered at the nice slopes of her thighs and wanted to rub his hands against them. He lowered his voice. “Because we are men,” he slurred. “Because war is the way of men.”
She sniffed. “You tell me the logic of sending any son to war and I’ll take you to Atlantic City and pick up the tab.” `
He looked pensive. “Why can’t you see that?” His tongue felt numb. He started losing track of what he was trying to say. “That is the way it has always been. We are to stand besides our sons.” He paused trying to remember the words he thought to say. “Even if, if we watch them die.”
Her expression changed. Abruptly she stood. She shook her head. “You’re as crazy as a bedbug.” She peered at him in total seriousness. “Oh god, how can such a hunk of man be so stupid.”
He swayed from foot to foot, smiled. “I’m a little drunk. Don’t pay any attention to me. Let me take you home.”
She smiled politely. “Maybe we’ll see each other again.” Before he could speak, she blew him a kiss, turned and left.
He shook his head drunkenly and slathered the rest of the smoked salmon on the celery sticks.

All Signs
from Georgia Nicols

Every few decades, Saturn and Pluto align; but this year, they lined up in Capricorn for the first time in 500 years. Capricorn represents governments and structures in society (plus borders). Five hundred years ago, the agent of change was the moveable printing press, which spread information leading to the Protestant Reformation, the Renaissance and the Scientific revolution. This planetary influence also means tearing things down to rebuild them in a better way. It’s obvious our approach to caring for the elderly has to change. Millions have discovered they can work from home and connect digitally with anyone anywhere in the world. Old ways of doing things are ending. And I want to lose weight eating buttered baking powder biscuits and drinking wine. There’s gotta be a way!

Aries (March 21-April 19)

You’re hearing from relatives and cousins you never knew you had. Some are parked on your couch and sleeping on your doorstep. Oy vey! Even though this is a busy, fast-paced week, around Wed./Thurs., your energy will flag. Like somebody let the air out of a balloon. Don’t worry because it will return. In fact, your ruler Mars will be in your sign for the last six months of the year, which means you’ll be PowerPoint on steroids. Yes! But not always a pretty picture because when you get wound up – watch out world! Incidentally, the next several weeks are an excellent time to tackle home repairs.

Taurus (April 20-May 20)

I think “it’s all about the base” but we know it’s all about the money because you are the financial wizard of the zodiac. This week you’re still focused on money, assets and boosting your earnings. Be clear in all your communications because Mercury retrograde is almost upon us, which is why your daily interactions with others are having silly mistakes. Messages are mixed up. You might miss appointments. Your daily activities are dogged with silly errors. Midweek, there might be a confusion about financial matters. Wednesday in particular is a bad day to make financial decisions. Thursday is still confusing. Just coast through this confusing window. (There’s a light at the end of the tunnel and it’s not a train.)

Gemini (May 21-June 20)

You continue to be empowered with the Sun in your sign; however, midweek, (specifically Wed./Thur.), your energy level will drop. In fact, Wednesday is the perfect day to play hooky. (Don’t shop – just goof off.) You might also feel discouraged midweek or beaten down by circumstances. Your self-confidence will have gone out the window. But lo! What message from yonder modem breaks? This is just a temporary problem. Don’t be discouraged by the gap between your ideals and reality. Look for ways to benefit from the wealth of others or to get a loan or mortgage because you can do this! (But not this week).

Cancer (June 21-July 22)

Life has its challenges right now. For starters, Mercury is almost retrograde in your sign. This is why you’re in contact with old friends, ex-spouses and old partners. This might be entertaining or horrific depending on how things ended. (Let’s face it. You never really let go of anyone.) The Sun is still hiding in your chart this week, which means you are content taking a backseat and watching everything go by. You welcome a low profile and some quiet time so that you can ponder what you want to achieve in your new year ahead after your birthday arrives. Make some goals. That will increase the odds that you will achieve them!

Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)

You will enjoy interacting with others either online or in person this week because friendships and your involvement in groups and classes is stronger than usual. In fact, your interaction with others might cause you to change or modify your future goals. Nevertheless, be aware that midweek, Wed./Thur., you will experience confusion with friends or groups. You might feel inadequate and want to avoid a direct confrontation with someone? Unfortunately, during this time, you won’t be clearheaded enough to be convincing. It’s like you are your own worst enemy! Fear not this is a temporary dark cloud on your horizon. Gone by the end of the week.

Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)

This is a tricky week. For starters, fiery Mars is opposite your sign all week, which makes you annoyed with others. Knowing this ahead of time, you have to practice diplomacy and patience. Guard against knee-jerk reactions and flippant retorts. This is not the week for clever, witty, but sometimes biting retorts. Exercise discipline and patience and don’t take the bait. Meanwhile, midweek, you will have difficulties dealing with parents and bosses because of some kind of confused assumptions. You might feel inadequate. They might feel you’ve got attitude? Something will muddy the waters, which makes cooperation with authority figures difficult on both sides. Fortunately, this is a brief influence. Meanwhile, old friends are back in your world.

Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)

The good news this week is that you have a lot of energy to work hard, which means you will accomplish a lot. Bravo! Because bosses, parents and authority figures from your past are suddenly back in your world, they might be impressed with your track record. (It’s always nice to have bragging rights.) However, midweek, some kind of confusion will occur that might relate to religion, publishing, legal matters or a medical issue. It could also relate to higher education and schooling. Whatever it is will cast doubt on things. You might feel you have to reconsider something. Just wait until this fuzzy period is over. By the end of the week, all will be well.

Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)

You have a lot of playful energy this week, which bodes well for those of you who are involved in sports in any way or dealing with kids. If you work in the entertainment world or the hospitality industry, you will be energized! Some of you will also hear from people you haven’t heard from for a while who are far away or from another culture. This might be surprising and interesting nevertheless, be aware that some kind of confusion or doubt will arise midweek concerning inheritances, shared property, taxes, debt or the wealth and resources of someone else, especially your spouse or your partner. “There’s something rotten in Denmark.” Despite your doubts, by the end of the week, all this will be resolved! Do not be hasty to make judgments or take action.

Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)

You definitely need your sleep this week because with the Sun opposite your sign, your energy is flagging a bit. Having said that, midweek you will really notice this, which is why you might want to schedule a nap on Wednesday and Thursday. In addition, midweek, there might be confusion with a partner or close friend. It could be a misunderstanding based on incorrect assumptions. You might feel disappointed in someone or fear that they are disappointed in you? You are also dealing with some kind of increased chaos, tension or activity on the home front, and this too, will drain your energy. (Time to send out for dark chocolate.) Life is better by the end of the week.

Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)

With fiery Mars in your House of Communications, you’re coming on like gangbusters! You can use this to your advantage. It means that in all your discussions with others, you are convincing and persuasive! This strong energy can be used if you are in sales, marketing, teaching, writing or acting. Admittedly, you might come on too strong. Easy does it. Meanwhile, many of you are hearing from ex-partners, ex-spouses and old friends from your past. Fortunately, with Jupiter in your sign now, you look great! (Living well is the best revenge.) Midweek around Wed./Thur., there will be confusion related to your job or perhaps your health? Don’t worry because this confusion disappears by the end of the week. Whew!

Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)

For the most part, this continues to be fun city for you this week. Your creative vibes are hot! You’re in the mood to play and pursue sports, the creative arts, the entertainment world and the hospitality industry. Many of you are also involved with your kids more than usual. It will be a fun time! Nevertheless, midweek, especially around Wed./Thurs., you will be confused about something related to the arts or your kids or any of the above areas. While in this state of confusion, do not make important decisions, especially Wednesday! (Wednesday is a Moon Alert all day. See my daily horoscope.) In addition, Mercury retrograde will create delays, confusion and errors in paperwork and appointments that are job-related. It was ever thus.

Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)

Home and family continue to be your big focus this week. Fortunately, with Mars in your sign, you have a lot of energy now to give to home and family. Nevertheless, past issues related to your kids or perhaps an old flame, are back in the picture. Whatever this is – you can handle it. Do be aware that midweek on Wed./Thurs., issues related to parents or anything to do with your family will be confusing and perhaps even demoralizing. Don’t let this get you down because it’s probably a misunderstanding. Remember: Unexpressed expectations almost always lead to disappointment.

Weekly Horoscopes Beginning Monday, 08 June 2020

If you`re born within cusp period (16 to 26 of any month); you`re advised to read horoscopes of both signs covered by that period. You`re in the border; you may have influences from houses within those signs.

Outlines are longer versions; consists of every possible detail of everyday and based on three parts of each sign: 1st, 2nd & 3rd Decan; that is, any of three divisions of 10° within a sign of the zodiac. Even if you know or don`t know your Decan; I recommend, please read all three Decan.

Aries
Personal theme: I am!!
Fire & cardinal sign: March 21 — April 19

Your horoscope for this week:

The past weeks have been demanding but, looking back, you`ve done a lot.. Review those achievements, then tackle any remaining tasks. Aim to get them done, by 28 June. Why? On that date your ruler Mars moves into Aries, to remain until early 2021. The more you deal with, and learn, now the better prepared you`ll be for that remarkable period of your life.

Much to your surprise the tide of events is beginning to turn in your favour. You will need to be alert and healthy to make a good impression. Get to bed early each night. Look after your health by eating nutritious food. Practice moderation in all things. Be on your guard for aggravations where conflicting views and values are concerned. Arguments will drain you intellectually and emotionally. Some gentle exercise will help you release any tension.

With Venus still retrograde, it might be as well to view this as reflection time. It may be that you take action to further protect resources. You might agree that you`ve overspent or invested time and energy apparently unwisely. Whatever, and especially between 9th and 11th, valuations look to have special importance. There might also – by next Thursday – be the need to either let a dream go or release an item that could be better looked after elsewhere. Though there may be many aspects of this that you don`t enjoy, fact is that you`re doing a form of space clearing which should pave the way for new opportunities in a few weeks` time after Venus turns direct.

Taurus
Personal theme: I have!!
Earth & fixed sign: April 20 — May 20

Your horoscope for this week:

Recently you`ve tackled a range of tricky situations, some practical, others involving certain individuals you`re close to. While the process was challenging, not only have you imposed order on chaos, you`ve learnt a lot. Both will be amazingly helpful when, over the coming weeks, a range of welcome changes and exciting ideas come your way. For now, explore everything. However, final decisions can, and should, wait.

Some people can`t seem to do enough for you. A generous friend or relative will be particularly helpful in providing the deposit you need for a car or a home. You can`t avoid soaking up their goodwill and kindness and there is more openness in communications now. Someone seems preoccupied with financial and health related matters. It might be worth sitting down with your family to discuss how you can support each other over the months ahead.

Your ruling planet, Venus is still retrograde and yes, at the financial level it may be that more is going out than coming in. This is the situation that won`t last forever but yes, you`re right to keep on top of things if you can as there is real danger of loss before next weekend. With the Moon passing over the apex of your solar chart midweek there might yet be ways – with care – to make better use of your time and resources. You won`t be the only sign considering letting something go before the Last Quarter Moon on 13th. For many this may be about letting go of a dream or wish. At a different level, it looks as though the Internet and your profile will require attention. Take care – especially that a computer virus doesn`t affect you; and be super careful about any kind of web transactions.

Gemini
Personal theme: I think!!
Air sign: May 21 — June 20

Your horoscope for this week:

The Gemini New Moon may have been two weeks ago, but you`re still exploring the intriguing ideas it triggered. However, you`re under pressure to turn what you`re discussing into lasting plans. The trick is to begin organising these, and where possible make arrangements, but to ensure they`re flexible. That enables you to explore the equally intriguing ideas that arise now, and over the coming weeks.

You`re nervous about venturing into pastures new. You still want to embrace the experience but because of issues that have now cropped up, you aren`t sure about the timing. Do your research before making your mind up. It`s difficult to know whether information you are being given is fact or fiction. Even an internet search will give you conflicting advice. This will be frustrating when technology and social networking sites are often places you go to for information and emotional support.

Venus is still retrograde in your sign and doesn`t turn direct until June 26. The period until then affords excellent opportunity to go back over decisions and determine what could yet be salvaged. Shoes, and footwear look as though they will play a key role. Before investing in this area, you might want to consider exactly what it is that you need now – which may be very different to what you needed a year ago. Images also seem to be important. It`s probable that by the Last Quarter Moon on June 13th you will give thought to your online profile and amendments you need to make. At a different level entirely, you might agree that it`s time to rethink long-term goals i.e. of more than a decade and the expertise you need to acquire to achieve these.

Cancer
Personal theme: I feel!!
Water & cardinal sign: June 21 — July 22

Your horoscope for this week:

If you`re feeling unsettled, it`s no surprise. You`re preparing for the exciting if occasionally tricky shakeups being triggered by the powerful Cancer eclipsed New Moon on 21 June. For now, focus on decluttering your life and existing plans. That way, you`ll be ready for even the most unexpected of events, ideas or offers. The lighter you`re travelling and more inquisitive your mood, the more you`ll benefit.

With colleagues off sick and everything in the workplace taking so long to do, not a lot will get accomplished. Persevere and you will find a way around hurdles. Keep at it; be disciplined and work harder at your objectives. You`re bound to get hopping mad after discovering someone has deliberately fed you misleading information. At least within the family, there will be accord and cooperation. This will make you want to arrange to have more time within your own four walls.

Mercury is moving through your sign and in fact will have an extended stay there through until early August. It would be understandable if you were giving great thought to your nest and how best to protect it. With Venus retrograde in neighbouring Gemini, this is the optimum time to think about designs at every level. This applies as much to career as it does to domestic matters. There is much to be said for preparing a business plan between now and the Last Quarter Moon on June 13. Through this time too, the expertise and advice from someone born under Aquarius should prove invaluable. Their detachment from the situation could be just what you need. Yes, they`re probably right that one of the many things you need is support. Someone working in the field of the arts and who is well-placed, might recognise you have the magic touch that they need. A partnership here could develop next month.

Leo
Personal theme: I will!!
Fire & fixed sign: July 23 — August 22

Your horoscope for this week:

Eager as the impatient side of your nature is to turn plans into action, recent experiences have convinced you things can`t be rushed. What`s more, slowing your pace allows you to address minor issues before they turn into major dramas. This process may not be interesting. However, not only will you avoid those problems, the resulting insights will pave the way for the coming months` excitement.

A friend you trusted will betray a secret. You are disappointed in them and annoyed with yourself for having confided in the wrong person. Someone will try to bribe or manipulate you. They will use devious means in the hope of persuading you to part with your cash or help them out. It`s important to look after your own interests. The hours seem to fly by later because you are working on something you really enjoy.

Mentally you could now be in overdrive. It`s not simply that Mercury is passing through neighbouring cancer and that your imagination is working well, but that Venus too is retrograde. This is a potentially powerful combination and should work well for envisioning your future. True, it may be that you feel you have insufficient wealth or expertise to achieve your heart`s desire.. Yet the important thing may be to flirt with ideas and refine these. Yes, you could be exasperated midweek when the flaws in your schemes are pointed out. Yet you are right in that before anything can exist, it first has to be imagined. The energy you put out in this direction is not wasted – though the practical steps to realisation are likely to be taken closer to your birthday.

Virgo
Personal theme: I analyse!!
Earth sign: August 23 — September 22

Your horoscope for this week:

Despite your efforts to gather both the facts and necessary support before taking certain promising plans into action, you`re encountering obstacles. These are no surprise and with your ruler Mercury retrograde from the 18th, yet more confusion is inevitable. Bizarrely, however, each delay or even detour proves informative, so much that ultimately, you`re grateful for every twist and turn, and the insights they brought your way.

You can learn a lot from listening to other people`s ideas and opinions. Others too will benefit from picking your brains. You`re working in partnership directly with other talented people in order to achieve a mutual goal. Official changes or measures that are affecting your workplace spell new circumstances for you to adapt to. You have been through somewhat similar situations before but it is different this time. There are factors that are unusual that have to be taken into consideration.

You probably won`t be alone in wondering which way your career is going. With Venus, retrograde at the top of your solar chart whilst Mercury is in Cancer, you could be worrying over and over again about where you`re headed. Remember though, yours is a sign that could get a degree in anxiety! This may not be the best way of using your energy. Staying calm and assessing exactly where you are and where you could be, requires that still inner voice. This is something you perhaps can achieve but yes, perhaps not when so many people are throwing advice in your direction. Take care – especially given that Mars is moving through your opposite sign, – that others aren`t getting a kick out of showing you different options. Perhaps they`re enjoying seeing you dither! What you may need more is rest and creative playtime. It`s perhaps a hobby that could yet provide a satisfactory way forward.

Libra
Personal theme: I balance!!
Air & cardinal sign: September 23 — October 22

Your horoscope for this week:

The recent powerful link between the Sun, your ruler Venus and the hot-headed Mars led to discussions as exciting as they were unsettling. The challenge is turning these into plans. The secret? Employ your Libra charm to gather the necessary facts, then turn those into ideas that excite everybody. Still, with so much unsettled, even the simplest of arrangements are bound to change several times.

Your enthusiasm shines in important settings and people are inspired by your imaginative ideas. It should be fun to take up fresh career opportunities. A group project will benefit from the way you balance risk with caution. Others you are working with may not be so careful. After an initial disagreement about who will spend on what, you and your partner or best friend will get into the swing of a social event which will also give you a golden opportunity to do something special.

Mercury is now passing over the apex of your solar chart and focus is on your career and all your aims and objectives. Though Mercury makes this transit every year, 2020 is unusual because of its extended stay (covering a retrograde period). Meanwhile, Venus, your ruling planet is retrograde in another of the Air signs; and yes, you are arguably right to think that you have to go back before you can move forward. Handling lines of communication should now be top priority. There may be contacts you need to renew. Arrangements will need to be remade; and yes, this could be complicated. Yet you could look at various options and consider adjusting business plans. Think of it as taking a route from one side of a continent to another: there are many routes you could take to get to final destination. Having a variety of strategies in place would surely be wise. What may be paramount is prioritising best ways to conserve energy and health.

Scorpio & Ophiuchus
Personal theme: I desire!!
Water & fixed signs: October 23 — November 21

Your horoscope for this week:

Once you understand that because you`re in an unsettled period, even the simplest of arrangements are bound to change, you`ll stop worrying about getting things exactly right. Actually, your time`s best spent decluttering your life, diary and mind, so you`ll be free to explore what arises. What`s least expected and, possibly, least welcome could turn out to be an amazing idea, offer or opportunity.

Money is a source of tension in the family. Emotions are likely to get out of hand whenever the topic of finances is discussed.. A relative has been careless with cash and although they will admit this, they also expect help paying their bills. Suggest they sell unwanted items rather than rely on others to bail them out. Take practical steps to ensure your suggestions are understood by colleagues. You can do this by putting your ideas across in the most credible way.

Mercury is retrograde in another of the Water signs. This should suit you – especially if you are trying to absorb information. Meanwhile, Venus is retrograde in one of the Air signs and yes, you`d perhaps be right to question some of the material which is offered to you as fact and which you sense may not be the `whole truth and nothing but the truth`. Yours is a super enquiring mind at the best of times. Until Venus turns direct on June 25, the need to probe and the delight in unearthing mysteries is paramount. For now, you may be to a Cancer whose ability to husband resources and whose network could yet prove a upper resource should do much to ease your path; resulting, by the Last Quarter Moon on June 13th, with you feeling that you`re on the road to improving a qualification.

Sagittarius
Personal theme: I see!!
Fire sign: November 22 — December 21

Your horoscope for this week:

By tradition eclipses are about both shakeups and breakthroughs. Although the first of the current series of three is in Sagittarius and takes place on Friday 5 June, you may already have had a sample of the fresh perspective on life, your priorities and possibilities for the future these are triggering. Respond to sudden events, ideas and offers but ensure any arrangements you make are flexible.

Your charm and good manners are making a good impression on important people in your life. Venturing in a new direction will make you positive and optimistic. If you`re interviewing for a job, a future employer will be impressed by your upbeat attitude. If you`re trying to sort out a workplace dilemma, you will gain more points with honey than vinegar. Your curtailed social life will be quiet, possibly non-existent and surprisingly for you, that`s the way you will prefer it.

You may be right in concluding that others are being excessively emotional or talking too much about the past. Recall that Venus is now moving through your opposite sign. It`s quite possible that they are thinking back to brighter times. Assuring them that there are better times ahead could be an uphill struggle and not one that you want to tackle. It`s perhaps more important to you to consider the legacies you want to leave. This will doubtless require you going back through old papers and generally tidying up. There is also the possibility of being involved in the sale of an item. Valuations will doubtless be part of the conversation. A tentative agreement could be reached by the Last Quarter Moon on June 13. Meanwhile, negotiations with someone born under Cancer – and on a quite separate matter could take an interesting turn.

Capricorn
Personal theme: I use!!
Earth & cardinal sign: December 22 — January 19

Your horoscope for this week:

In early July, you`ll benefit from the potentially life-changing events triggered by the powerful Capricorn Full Moon. For now, instead of tackling big projects, your time`s best spent reviewing what, and who, adds to your life and where changes are wise. If it`s easy, take action; but if not, continue this review. The more you learn now, the better prepared you`ll be for early July`s excitement.

You may not be able to make a decision that is required in order to deal with people in an unconfrontational and positive manner. In addition to this you aren`t sure you can trust the person who has volunteered to stand by you come what may Plans are being cancelled and meetings postponed. This is making it a difficult time for you. You may be taking on a new role to help vulnerable members of society. Your leadership qualities shine.

Mercury is moving through your opposite sign and those close to you will likely be talking (and you listening carefully!) about their long-term plans and, perhaps arrangements about property that would affect you both. Venus though is retrograde and refining these plans could take a few weeks yet. Reconnecting with those you haven`t seen for some time, and whose workplace is very different to your own, provides a different challenge. It may be that you could learn much from what they`ve been doing and the ideas that they would like to explore when conditions are better. Design, lack of clarity and confusion about actual schedules would of course exasperate you. It`s possible that by the Last Quarter Moon next Saturday, that you will need to put your foot down and make clear that you can`t start work until certain matters are resolved.

Aquarius
Personal theme: I know!!
Air & fixed sign: January 20 — February 18

Your horoscope for this week:

Over the past months, you`ve dealt with a range of issues, major and minor. It was hard work but you both learnt a lot and are relieved they`re behind you. However, those you`re relying on haven`t been as industrious, which leaves you waiting, and possibly fuming, while they get their act together; and you? Explore sudden, unexpected and exciting ideas. You could soon be rethinking everything.

Try to keep a practical perspective on future plans. You`re keen to venture into unknown territory. A scholarship from a cultural institution or invitation to volunteer will make this adventure possible. Don`t be daunted by the extensive paperwork involved. Be wary, too, of tips about discounted accommodations that leave out some of the facts. It won`t be difficult to antagonise a cautious friend about a social expenditure. There are some projects you don`t intend to get involved in.

Emphasis is on health care costs and indeed all domestic routine and apparently essential expenses. It may be necessary to review these: identifying which brands no longer give value for money. At a different level entirely, and if you`re in business, you might give thought to what added value you can give to a service or items. With Venus presently retrograde in another of the Air signs, this is arguably the optimum time for these exercises. There may be old thrift techniques you could bring back into use. Quite separately, and with the strong possibility of a relative considering a major move, you might consider how altered communication costs will affect you both and what adaptations can be made here too..

Pisces
Personal theme: I believe!!
Water sign: February 19 — March 20

Your horoscope for this week:

Once you understand there`s no avoiding this week`s twists and turns, some seriously challenging, you`ll stop wondering what should have been done. The irony is, what you learn while dealing with them will more than justify the time, and concentration, they`ll require. Knowing that, don`t just do the minimum. There are important insights to be gained from your efforts. The deeper you go, the more you`ll learn.

Some people can be incredibly stubborn. Spending a lot of time with someone who is annoyingly opinionated will get you down. You don`t have to stay in situations that drain you. Instead, choose to spend more time with people who share your interests and values. A viral infection could knock your routine out of kilter. Make an appointment for a health or dental check-up. Taking care of yourself is important.

Next Saturday`s (13th) Last Quarter Moon is in your sign. This represents a moment of culmination of thinking that has gone on for the last two years. True, even by then you might be confused as to what is the optimum way forward. Note however that Venus is retrograde at the base of your solar chart. It is possible that before you do move forward you need to move or adapt your home environment so that you can work better.
