Ostara (Spring Song)
Song: Ostara (Spring Song)
Artist: Lisa Thiel
Album: Circle Of The Seasons

Praise to the Spring, Praise to all living things
Praise to the Maiden and the joy that she brings
Praise to the Earth let all her creatures now sing
Hope is renewed with the coming of the Spring

We turn from the darkness and the wise Crone within
We turn to the Maiden and creation begins
Its a time for things growing and time now for flowing
A time now for sowing the seeds of your dreams.

Praise to the Spring, Praise to all living things
Praise to the Maiden and the joy that she brings
Praise to the Earth let all her creatures now sing
Hope is renewed with the coming of the Spring

The heart fires are stirring with the new life returning
Its time now for learning what rebirth truly means
We honor ourselves and all the faeries and elves
May we dance and ring bells
for the coming of the Spring!

Praise to the Spring, Praise to all living things
Praise to the Maiden and the joy that she brings
Praise to the Earth let all her creatures now sing
Hope is renewed with the coming of the Spring

So open your heart to natures wondrous art.
Its time now to start the Healing of the Green.
Young rabbits abound and theres flowers all around
The air is filled with the Sound
of the Coming of the Spring!

Llewellyn’s Spell a Day

Relationship Checkup
Spell Date: Sunday, March 18, 2018

We often take our relationships for granted. The people we care for often know we do care about them, but how often do we really tell them and show them?

Today, take some paper (stationery would be great) and get ready for some actual letter writing—not email, but actual letters. You will also need a yellow candle and either juniper, myrrh, orange, or sandalwood oil. Pick the one you like best. Light your candle and say:

“Goddess, grant me the insight and
knowledge to be open and loving.”

Make a list of the people in your life who need to know they are loved and appreciated, the ones you don’t tell often enough. Write them each a letter and then sprinkle a couple of drops of oil on the letter. Blow out the candle. Either hand-deliver the letters or actually mail them.

New Beginnings Spell
Spell Date: Saturday, March 17, 2018

Have you ever heard the saying “Every new beginning comes from some other beginning’s end”? Sometimes it’s hard to let go of what’s holding us back, even when we know it’s what’s best for us. What kind of new beginning are you looking at? A new job? Maybe a move to another city? How about letting go of a bad habit for a healthier you?

The new moon is the perfect time to embrace change! For this spell you will need a black candle, a seed, and a small terracotta pot with dirt.

Light the black candle to represent what you are releasing. It could be an unsatisfying job or an unhealthy lifestyle. Focus on letting go. Snuff out the candle, releasing your old life.

Take the seed and plant it in the pot. Focus on the growth of your new beginning. Visualize yourself healthier and happier. Say a few positive affirmations to close.

Romance Reboot
Spell Date: Friday, March 16, 2018

The timing is right to employ the water element to end old relationship problems and clear out patterns and programs that no longer serve. Draw a bath in a dark bathroom lit only by the light of a single pink candle, set next to a red rose and a piece of chocolate as a small offering to Aphrodite. Dissolve a full cup of sea salt in your bathwater, along with one-half cup Epsom salt and one tablespoon baking soda. Stand above the water and say:

“Aphrodite, I call on you. Please
infuse this water with purification
and love. May it cancel, clear, and
delete all old problems, patterns, and
programs related to relationships
that no longer serve. May they
dissolve into nothing and leave
my heart happy, open, and free.”

Soak in the water for at least forty minutes and give thanks to Aphrodite for supporting your cleanse.

Grounding and Centering
Spell Date: Thursday, March 15, 2018

These two techniques are an important part of all magic and spellwork, but they’re often overlooked. Centering before spellcrafting will help your work be more effective. As for grounding, a failure to ground after magical workings can leave one tired, headachy, and even queasy— the so-called magic hangover. Let’s prevent that from happening.

Think of centering as a kind of intense magical focus. Sit quietly, with eyes closed. Be aware of your own energy. Imagine it contracting into a soft ball somewhere around your midsection. Hold it there, feeling your energy focusing in that one spot. Open your eyes—you’re ready to work.

Grounding is a way to dispose of excess or leftover energy. Sit on the ground (outdoors, if possible), with your back against a wall or tree and your hands on the ground. Imagine excess energy being siphoned through your body, into your hands, and down into the earth. Breathe deeply, taking as long as you need. It is done.

Lucky Charms
Spell Date: Wednesday, March 14, 2018

Who couldn’t use a bit more luck? This spell will help, but it’s not a guarantee to fix your life! Success requires effort as well as magical intervention.

You’ll need a piece of jewelry. It can be something that you already own but not something that you currently wear often. You’ll also need a green candle and something to light it with. Light the candle and pass the piece of jewelry just above the flame. As you do so, recite these words:

“Fire, fleet, and candlelight,
Lend an ear and hear my plight.
May your fortune smile on me
And bring me luck, so mote it be!”

Now pinch out the flame and keep the candle somewhere safe. Wear the jewelry to remind you that the harder you work, the luckier you’ll be. Repeat the spell with the same candle when an extra boost is needed.

Invoking Uranus
Spell Date: Tuesday, March 13, 2018

Surprise! Today Uranus was “discovered” by Sir William Herschel in 1781. Uranus, named for the Greek god Ouranos, is daddy to Cronos (Saturn) and granddaddy to Zeus ( Jupiter), making him the real father in the sky. His 84-year orbit around the sun often brings change in his wake, sometimes unexpected.

Work with Uranus to restore your equilibrium when change has rocked your world. Visualize his blue-green glory, take his energy into your heart, and invoke his help:

“Sky daddy,
Big daddy,
Master of surprise,
Shake me!
Wake me!
Open my eyes!”

Repeat the incantation whenever a surprising shift happens in your life. Even if Uranus isn’t behind it, he’s got your back!

Sweep Winter Away Spell
Spell Date: Monday, March 12, 2018
Color of the day: White
Incense of the day: Narcissus
This spell is based on an old German folk magic belief that you can sweep negative forces out of your home using a broom. In this case, we’re going to sweep the remnants of winter out the door.

You’ll need a broom and some salt. Begin by sprinkling a bit of salt along the threshold of all exterior doors. Then begin to sweep your home, moving toward all exterior doors. You may actually sweep or just use the gesture of sweeping. Visualize winter darkness being swept toward the exterior doors. Continue sweeping until you’re just outside your threshold. At each threshold, sweep out the salt as you say:

“Broom, sweep away winter from
every crack and every spot,
Sweep away darkness,
gloom, and all that rot!”

Now that your home has had a psychic cleaning, you’re ready for spring.

Heartwings Love Notes 819 The Preciousness of Remembering

Heartwings says, “Moments spent with loved ones can be important to memory.”

The recent passing of a dear friend has brought a sense of immediacy to my relationships, and as well to my way of thinking about life in general. She and I used to speak each morning except Sundays. More than once I said to Stephen, “One day the phone will not ring at 9:30 every day.” Then indeed that day did come. While I miss my friend, I know she is in a much more comfortable and happy place than she has been for some time, and I rejoice for her though I do miss her calls.

I am happy to have pleasant memories of our time together. That is the saving grace of partings. It is also serves as a reminder to focus when I am with a dear one and to be present in order to have something to remember. More and more as I get older I have come to realize that endings come whether we want them to or not. We have no way of knowing whether or not any given conversation, meeting or interaction with another may be our last. I do not say this because I have a morbid fear of endings but rather as a reminder that any time we spend with another may be significant.

When we are children we have no understanding of how it is that things change or perhaps end. That ignorance may even be important to children’s comfort and sense of security. Most adults grow accustomed to change and learn to flow with it. It may be an aspect of maturity in human beings to be able to do that. In my life there have been many changes I could never have anticipated. Being able to adapt to them has been crucial to my happiness. Developing a sense of detachment to an anticipated condition of permanence has been not only valuable but also essential.

When I was a child, I could buy an ice cream cone for a nickel. Now even the smallest one costs 50 times that. The decor in my parents’ living room changed once in my memory. Today many people redecorate frequently. Then divorce was rare, people stayed at the same job for most of their lives, I could go on and on about how it used to be. My point is that change is more than ever a constant in the lives of most. For our comfort it is important to be able to deal with all forms of change, whether of décor or of circumstances. When I make the time to focus my attention and to appreciate what is happening, whether with a relationship or an experience, I have much less regret when it ends.

May you enjoy to the fullest that which you wish to remember.

Blessings and best regards, Tasha Halpert tashahal@gmail.com

If you have memories or comments to share, I would be so happy to see them. Readers’ responses are a source of happiness and joy to me.

Selenite or The Protection Stone
from Anima Mundi Crystals

Selenite or The Protection Stone is a variety of gypsum, calcium sulphide with filaments, which is readily cleaved into natural wands or sheets. It is a very soft stone which can be scratched easily with a fingernail. The name selenite comes from the Greek word Selene, meaning Moon.

Emotionally selenite is a protection stone, helping in the knowing and controlling ones emotions, likewise in defining and owning your emotions.
Subconsciously it brings calmness in case of irritability and hyperactivity and also a sense of protection against loosing control.

Mentally selenite affects the conscious perception and overcoming of obsolete thinking models that one has.
Physically it helps to bringing the fever down and and has a tonic effect to the tissues.

Application Selenite is a stone of powerful intuition and psychic awareness through its influence on the third eye chakra. You can access past lives and do past life work and healing with it. It is also beneficial for psychic efforts, especially clairvoyance.
Meditation and spiritual development are eased and promoted by selenite.

It is primarily associated with the Crown and Third Eye chakras. It is also related to the sacral chakra.
Selenite is also a stone of truth and honesty. This promotes good business practices as well as honesty in other types of relationships. The Selenite slabs are used fore cleansing other stones. For spiritual use place on the third eye chakra , for the rest use as touch stone or as a decoration item for the room you want to achieve a relaxing effect.

Selenite is associated with the moon it is named for. This brings associations and energies of the unconscious, instinct, subconscious, and emotional well-being. The moon association also brings water energy to the fore, creating the flexibility and intuition.

Do not expose your selenite to direct fire or heat sources because it will turn into chalk and proprieties of the stone will be lost.

HEALING CRYSTAL MEANINGS ARE SPIRITUAL SUPPORTS TO HEALING, NOT PRESCRIPTION OR HEALTHCARE INFORMATION.

Stephen Halpert
Domestic Tranquility: My Grandmother’s Plunger

We were at the flea market in Grafton, walking amongst rows of stuff all at give away prices.
“Will you look at that? And its only seventy five cents!”
Tasha frowned. “Stephen, that’s just an old rubber plunger.”
“Exactly! Just like my grandmother had in her upstairs bathroom on Oriole Avenue. Same old chipped red paint on its top too. Why if she hadn’t lived as far away as Providence, I’d guess this might have once been hers. And what a good deal!”
She wrinkled her nose and frowned. “It’s old and decrepit and the rubber looks dried out and cracked.”
“Tasha if you were as old as this plunger… Why I’ll bet it goes back seventy, eighty years of the last century. I’ll bet at Hyde Park Eleanor Roosevelt had a red handled plunger just like this; she probably brought it with her to the White House to make her bathroom feel more homey.” I looked it appreciatively. “I’ll bet you don’t realize what a nostalgic American keepsake the classic bathroom plunger has become?”
She smiled politely. “No doubt it will prove useful for someone.” She turned her attention to a pile of old food stained cookbooks on the next table.
“Might be smart if we picked it up. Real practical, rustic antique Americana.”
“Why? Are you suddenly interested in finding old bathroom memorabilia?” Then she grinned. “Perhaps you want to start collecting plungers.”
“Well,” I took her arm and we moved on. “If you went to the4 hardware store you’d pay way a lot more than seventy five cents.”
“But we don’t need a plunger. I think the one we have is just fine.”
“Are you sure? It never hurts to have a back up plunger on hand just in case.” I picked up a rusty metal bank, gasped at the price and put it back down.
“In case of what? Or is it because it reminds you of your grandmother? Is that why you want it? Oh, look at that copper kettle. I wonder if there’s a hole in it’s bottom?”
“Usually when I think of my grandmother, I remember her delicate Dresden lamps and figurines that chipped if you looked at them the wrong way, let alone dropped one. You notice how careful I am to stay away from pricey crockery?” I spotted something several tables away and pointed. “Wow! Now that’s a find! Those pewter bowls look like they date back to the Mayflower.”
We walked in that direction. “That’s all right.” Tasha picked one up. “I have enough bowls, and anyway I prefer stainless steel.”
“but those are antiques.”
She picked up a book from the table in front of us and opened it. “Now here’s an interesting collection of recipes using prunes.”
“Wouldn’t you say pewter bowls are rare and probably valuable? Besides, don’t you have enough cook books?”
“You can’t use pewter for anything other than decoration, it’s poisonous; plus it never hurts to find a cookbook with some obscure recipes that may come in handy someday. Besides you like prunes.”
“It’s decrepit. The cover’s all stained and torn. I’ll bet you could find a pristine copy on Amazon.”
“Not for ten cents, I couldn’t. But maybe you’re right.” She put it back down.
We continued on past rows of incredible bargains: slightly worn beach umbrellas, furniture on its last legs, and CDs by unfamiliar bands and vocalists.
After a while we stopped and bought sandwiches and cold drinks. We sat on a bench and ate and then continued walking.
“I guess it’s sold by now.” I said.
“What’s sold?” She turned from a carton of kitchen utensils that had seen better days.
“My grandmother’s plunger, the old one back there with the faded red handle.”
“Oh for goodness sake go buy it. Here, here’s seventy five cents,” she reached into her change purse and handed me three shiny quarters. “Really, go buy it, otherwise I’ll never hear the end of it.”
“Are you sure?” Suddenly I had a vivid image: my grandmother with a determined look on her face as she tromped down the hall in Providence, the red handled plunger firmly in hand.
“Please, be my guest. Far be it from me to interfere with your boyhood reminiscences.”
“That’s fine,” I said suddenly fearing I’d appear silly. “By now it’s probably gone anyway. Lots dealers prowling around here this morning, and bargains like that get snapped up in a hurry.”
“I don’t need to go back and buy that cook book, either.” She sighed. “I did like that recipe for prune whip though, but you said it was falling apart and some of the pages were loose.”
“Splurge!” I smiled magnanimously. “”Go back and get it. It’s only a dime. What can you buy for a dime now-a-days?”
“But I feel badly. I deprived you of your plunger.”
“Oh that’s ok. I’m just glad we can be honest with each other when it comes to making expensive financial decisions, and admittedly I know that somehow we’ll get along without it.”
“Your grandmother’s plunger?” she looked at me, and sighed. “Maybe I should buy it and put it away as a Christmas surprise. Would finding it under the tree make you happy and think of her more often?”
“Only if the one we have fell apart it needed to be called into active duty; and then it wouldn’t really matter, unless of course it saved us from having to call a plumber.” We laughed as we made our way back to the car.

Witnessing Nature through Meditation
By Madisyn Taylor

When it becomes too cold to be outside with nature, bring her inside through your meditation.
When the weather gets colder it can be more difficult to get in touch with the marvel of nature as it exists around us. Finding innovative ways to really connect with nature brings us closer to the wonders that envelop our lives. One way to do this is to perform a meditation with our feathered friends, the bird kingdom.

Just by taking a few moments each day to watch the bird activity that goes on in our backyards through our windows can bring a sense of calm and well-being to our lives. Watching and being with the birds that we share our garden space with us allows us to experience greater feelings of relaxation and gratitude for the diversity that is always present around us. Simply watching, without judgment or expectations, heightens our awareness of the beauty of nature. If you watch the birds for a long enough period of time you will begin to feel a great sense of deep joy within you knowing we are all truly divine. Doing this with our family members will in turn introduce a meditative practice that can easily be shared and appreciated by all, as well as create deeper bonds with each other through the joy of experiencing the healing power of nature.

Looking through our windows and placing a feeder and bird bath in our gardens to attract the birds is a way to call forth beauty into our lives. As we consciously connect with our outer world–even when the weather inhibits us from physically being in it–we see that the splendor we view outside of our windows is simply a reflection of what lies within us.

If you`re born within cusp period (16 to 26 of any month); you`re advised to read horoscopes of both signs covered by that period. You`re in the border; you may have influences from houses within those signs.

Outlines are longer versions; consists of every possible detail of everyday and based on three parts of each sign: 1st, 2nd & 3rd Decan; that is, any of three divisions of 10° within a sign of the zodiac. Even if you know or don`t know your Decan; I recommend, please read all three Decan.

Aries
Personal theme: I am!!
Fire & cardinal sign: March 21 — April 19

Your horoscope for this week:

No sign is better equipped to deal with this exiting, if unruly, period than Aries. True, with the ideas planet Mercury retrograde from the 23rd until mid-April triggering confusion, unexpected developments are inevitable. Knowing that, try to ensure plans are flexible and, as important, approach everything you organise with a sense of humour. Do that, and the rest will be easy.

A neighbour you don`t often talk to might ask you for a favour. Although you can`t give any practical help, your advice will be appreciated. This will also stand you in good stead in the future should you ever need their support or suggestions. An organised approach towards finances will mean no bills are left unpaid. This will be a relief when later in the month problems could have arisen if your finances hadn`t been kept in such good order.

This may be a challenge too far: but do try not to beat yourself up this week. Mars` arrival at the apex of your solar chart will surely push you to achieve great things. Note however, that Mercury stations prior to turning retrograde in your sign on Friday.. It will then cross back over degrees it`s moved past since the Last Quarter Moon on March 9. It would be under entirely understandable if between then and April 15 you felt the need to review your aims and objectives and perhaps do some kind of audit check on how you spend your time, energy and money. In this, you might be grateful someone born under either Taurus or Scorpio who could provide significant and wise advice. Given that design considerations may also be a factor, taking some time out for blue skies thinking before the weekend might not be a bad move at all. You might also benefit from reconnection with someone who shares one of your earlier passions and who can remember how you worked before others tried to streamline your thinking. It may be that that inherent creative genius needs to be given encouragement once more.

———— ———– ———- ——— ——– ——- —— —– —- — — –

Taurus
Personal theme: I have!!
Earth & fixed sign: April 20 — May 20

Your horoscope for this week:

No matter how carefully you`ve thought out plans, you`re unlikely to have anticipated the coming weeks` twists and turns. While they`re unsettling, each offers a timely opportunity to review arrangements, and just when the foundation on which they`re based is shifting. Forget about attempts to slow the pace and regain control. Even dramatic developments will prove unexpectedly rewarding. Go with the flow. You`ll be glad you did.

A new friend is taking too much interest in your private business. It feels as if they want to know your every secret. The more they pry, the more you will guard your privacy until you are ready to back off completely. If you switch off your mobile and lock your door, they may get the message. Take this opportunity to catch up with jobs about the house. Clearing away clutter, scrubbing floors and dusting surfaces will make you feel better.

Slightly ahead of Tuesday`s Equinox, Mars arrives in another of the Earth signs. Whilst many could find this week uncomfortable and challenging – especially given Mercury`s retrograde station due on Friday, it might suit you to put down a few key markers and perhaps ally yourself more closely with someone born under one of the Cardinal signs of Aries, Cancer, Libra or Capricorn. Though there are likely many amendments required in the coming weeks, in working with someone who shares your enthusiasm for dealing with both the practicalities and design elements of a task, this could be a challenge that feels acceptable and timely. It might be as well to check ahead of Mercury`s station that those whom you need to have around in the coming weeks will be available to assist as required. What you presumably don`t need is to be banging your head against a brick wall or immovable deadline.

Gemini
Personal theme: I think!!
Air sign: May 21 — June 20

Your horoscope for this week:

As a Gemini, you`ve a knack for dealing with unexpected events, even those currently turning relatively simple plans into chaos. While some changes are actually fun, others are challenging. Worse, those around you will be complaining, mostly because they`re struggling to shore up existing arrangements. Encourage them to be more flexible, possibly even helping them rethink plans. Soon they`ll be able to proceed on their own.

A group effort will be successful, bringing results you can all be proud of. You have a lot of faith in a proposed project and won`t be surprised when you`re asked to take the helm. This group expects you to steer them into some interesting waters and you don`t intend to let them down. A youngster in the family is not taking any responsibility for their actions. It might be left to you to reprimand them.

Your ruling planet, Mercury, turns retrograde at the end of this week. You could feel the effects of that ahead of time. In fact, it may be that you`ve already sensed since the Last Quarter Moon on March 9th, that a review of partnerships and working relationships needed to happen sooner rather than later. It may be that one colleague needs to move away – even for if only for a short time. Bear in mind that in both April and May, two of the larger planetary bodies change signs; bringing with them opportunities and challenges. Given that those of your sign tend to be highly intuitive, you might already sense the profound changes that lie ahead. The challenge this week then maybe to get to grips with rules and regulations and determine which, if any you need to abide by and which could actually be used in your favour.

———— ———– ———- ——— ——– ——- —— —– —- — — –

Cancer
Personal theme: I feel!!
Water & cardinal sign: June 21 — July 22

Your horoscope for this week:

The changes you`re facing may be dramatic but they`re not unexpected. For ages there`s been talk of reorganising your way of living, working or both. Still, the current unruly planetary activity indicates even simple arrangements will change, possibly often. Knowing that, ensure your arrangements are flexible enough to withstand twists and turns. Unsettling as this is, the end result could be better than you conceived possible..

Someone upsets you more than you would like to admit. When you had expected to gain their support, they might seem to turn against you. Stand true to yourself and turn a deaf ear to any words of criticism. If a relative is being evasive, find out what`s causing the problem. You feel they don`t trust you anymore and you will want to know why. It may turn out they have been listening to too many gossip filled conversations.

Mercury stations at the top of your solar chart on Friday. It wouldn`t be surprising if as early as Monday you felt that a pause button was pressed. Despite the fact that it`s the Equinox this week, the surge of energy usually associated with a change in the seasons might not be felt in a positive way. Mars` arrival in your opposite sign, where it joins Saturn, could leave you feeling as though you`re stuck between a rock and a hard place. Of course, these times too will pass. They`re not necessarily all negative either: what is likely is that you will be asked to review a working partnership and the levels of commitment you`re prepared to put into it. This theme is set to play for some months. It may be, that during Mercury`s retrograde phase (to mid-April) trying out different methods of working without committing to one particular system will be your best option.

———— ———– ———- ——— ——– ——- —— —– —- — — –

Leo
Personal theme: I will!!
Fire & fixed sign: July 23 — August 22

Your horoscope for this week:

Over the past weeks, events or possibly loyalties to others have forced you to focus on crucial but rather dull matters. While you both learnt and achieved a great deal, things have become too predictable. Now, finally, between your existing plans coming to life and intriguing, if sudden, events, you`re experiencing a timely change of pace. While unsettling, at least initially, it`ll be worth it.

A stranger could become a good friend or lover, but you need to show you are interested. Take the initiative in romance and friendship. If you meet someone you fancy, be certain to exchange numbers before parting ways. Job matters will need a careful approach, or you could find yourself working overtime. If you sense your boss is looking for volunteers to do some extra work, keep your head down and avoid the spotlight. There will be others who will welcome this opportunity.

Between Saturday`s (17th) New Moon and Tuesday`s Equinox, Mars changes signs. These three factors together will usher in an entirely new tempo. You may now be totally focused on an idea that was planted between the Lunar Eclipse in your sign on January 31st and the Solar on February 15th. Now you may need to gather information and to forge an alliance with someone who could act on your behalf. Whether this is a financial or property adviser or even both, forming that liaison and adjusting to one another`s pace may be a focus of activity mid-week. It might be as well to get any valuations done ahead of Mercury`s station on Friday. Note too, that from then on through until the early part of May, communications might not run smoothly. Making notes of meetings and telephone calls so as to be able to refer back as necessary should be viewed as vital.

———— ———– ———- ——— ——– ——- —— —– —- — — –

Virgo
Personal theme: I analyse!!
Earth sign: August 23 — September 22

Your horoscope for this week:

For ages you`ve known that eventually certain once worthwhile arrangements would need attention. That time has come, which means first deciding whether those plans actually should be saved and, second, what`s next. Usually, you`d make a single, clear-minded plan. Now, instead, you`re urged to explore your options gradually. What you learn could change your thinking about both these existing ideas and your vision for the future.

You could discover something interesting about someone you have known a long time. They may have skills or knowledge they have never revealed before. A heart to heart will bring about a profound revelation. You will need time to process what you hear. Avoid impulse buying. An expensive purchase may not be as good quality as you had expected. Put off any big purchases for another time.. Continue to be careful with your cash.

Bear in mind that Saturday`s New Moon was in your opposite sign and aligned with Chiron.. You can think of this as being a fresh start but with an assistant who is familiar with the difficulties you`re facing. Note too, that the arrival of Mars in what might be viewed as the play or research and development area of your solar chart is likely positive. Helpful reminders of your latent talents should fuel you to push forward. Though not always into strategic planning, it may be that with assistance, you could renew acquaintance with someone who`s been of assistance in the past. Whether they help you draw up plans for a major refurbishment or ask for your assistance in an archiving project, one way or another, between Mercury`s retrograde station on Friday and early May, you could be usefully employed in putting together facts and information.

———— ———– ———- ——— ——– ——- —— —– —- — — –

Libra
Personal theme: I balance!!
Air & cardinal sign: September 23 — October 22

Your horoscope for this week:

No matter how wisely you`ve organised plans, they`re unlikely to last as they were first conceived. Accepting that won`t be easy, but once you do, it will give you freedom to explore whatever comes your way. Be patient until the 31st, when the Libra Full Moon brings both circumstance and your priorities to a head. After that, you`ll have no problem making lasting decisions.

Events going on in a partner`s life will benefit you. A romantic or business partner could receive a nice windfall which will give you both something to be pleased about. Take this opportunity to upgrade your computer or phone. An important business or financial deal is about to be confirmed. Get the terms put in writing and don`t leave anything open to possible misunderstandings. Signing a contract will bring long term security which is your main concern.

Ahead of Tuesday`s Equinox, Mars arrives in another of the Cardinal signs accenting the base of your solar chart and your general asset management. It`s arguably time to review work-play that balance. Actually, you could be given an ultimatum about this. A certain person may feel you`ve taken on far too much or that you`ve initiated too many things. Reprogramming and generally sorting things out should be easier between Tuesday and Friday. As of Friday, the accent turns to re-evaluating situations that have developed since 2007. A strong possibility is that one of your major passions hasn`t been given the attention it really needed and that somehow between this Friday and early May, you need to take steps to put that right. In short, this week seems to be one for conscious review.

———— ———– ———- ——— ——– ——- —— —– —- — — –

Scorpio & Ophiuchus
Personal theme: I desire!!
Water & fixed signs: October 23 — November 21

Your horoscope for this week:

Once you understand that there`s no simple way of dealing with the very tricky situations you`re facing, you`ll choose what seems the most complicated option; and that`s tackling each of these issues, point by point.. Once you begin, you`ll realise that while you`ve missed vital facts, so have others. The resulting joint discussions won`t just clear up these issues, they`ll help eliminate past difficulties as well.

Coping with some complicated jobs could leave you with a headache. Spending time away from familiar haunts will lift your spirits. This is a great time for sporting and outdoor events and for getting into better physical shape. Hiking, biking, strolling through the park and walking the dog are all rewarding distractions. Be patient with a young relative who is more excitable than normal. Just watching their antics will exhaust you but you will understand why they`re acting this way.

Three factors together suggest that by Tuesday you will have a new spring in your step. Firstly, there is Saturday`s new Moon. That`s followed by one of your ruling planets, Mars, changing signs and then, just two days later, the spring Equinox. This then would be a good time to start a new project. That said, Mercury turns retrograde as of Friday. It`s arguably important that you hit the ground running ahead of this station. It may be that there is a mess for you to sort out but that the person who could guide you through this will be away from Friday. It`s likely the case that you will need to be sensitive – especially to someone who knows they could have done better. It`s not up to you to cover their tracks of course, but it may be through resolving what has been their issue, that you pave the way to forge a new working relationship with them; albeit that it`s likely to be early May before it gets going.

———— ———– ———- ——— ——– ——- —— —– —- — — –

Sagittarius
Personal theme: I see!!
Fire sign: November 22 — December 21

Your horoscope for this week:

True, you thrive on a busy, and demanding, schedule. Still, the past month has been so overwhelming that even you have been struggling. Consequently, you`ll be relieved the pace has slowed and, equally, will be delighted to be facing uncomplicated financial or business issues. Better yet, as you deal with these, you`ll have a chance to update other equally important but neglected matters as well.

Everything is going well for you and your optimism increases daily. Keep thinking positive as there is very little that can go wrong at this time. The chance to travel or study with a respected expert will be exhilarating. This experience will be invaluable. If you`re starting a new job, there`s a good chance you`ll be able to travel through your work. Spur of the moment social arrangements will be exciting and fun. Make plans for a special weekend outing.

It isn`t necessarily the case that a crisis is waiting on the horizon, but it is probable that a change of direction is essential. Saturday`s (17th) New Moon at the base of your solar chart aligned with Chiron. As a new Moon usually signals a fresh start, it might suit you to arrange a health check: not necessarily because there is already a problem, but to avert one. Then, before Tuesday, both Mars and the Sun change signs. This suggests a decidedly different change of pace; most likely noticeable where financial matters are concerned. It`s likely that you need to understand better how someone is managing a situation. It might also be that discussions are necessary regarding a long-term investment. With Mercury turning retrograde in another of the Fire signs on Friday, it may be some weeks before there is resolution. This period though should be useful in obtaining estimates and weighing up pros and cons. What does seem clear is that where career matters are concerned, there have been developments over which you have little control, but which leave an opening and challenge should you choose to accept it.

———— ———– ———- ——— ——– ——- —— —– —- — — –

Capricorn
Personal theme: I use!!
Earth & cardinal sign: December 22 — January 19

Your horoscope for this week:

Obviously, you`d rather review and rethink recent decisions now, while the actual situations are in transition. However clear cut they seem, certain unspoken or, possibly, undiscovered issues need to be acknowledged and dealt with, and that`s unlikely to happen until early April. If you must organise plans, regard them as tentative and, equally, ensure that others are made aware of this changeable situation as well.

Your judgement is not as good as it could be, and you will be too quick to jump to the wrong conclusion. Although you want to see a difficult matter settled, it would be better to compromise than to end a good relationship. You are worried about a business or financial delay. This will be a big inconvenience, but it can`t be helped. This is one of those times when patience will serve you well. Try to postpone dealing with important concerns until after the 23rd.

Mars moves into your sign this weekend. That`s followed on Tuesday by the Sun`s arrival in Aries – the Equinox. These two factors alone suggest a marked change of pace. It`s been the better part of three decades since both Mars and Saturn travelled through your sign and many centuries since both were in Capricorn at the same time that Pluto transited this area of the zodiac. Bottom line is that these are uncharted waters for everyone. Others may well look to you to take the lead. Not only might significant challenges and responsibilities head your way, but these could take place across every platform of your life. With Mercury stationing at the base of your solar chart on Friday too, domestic matters will likely require extra attention. These might not resolve until early May and might, for some, even include the prospect of major renovation.

———— ———– ———- ——— ——– ——- —— —– —- — — –

Aquarius
Personal theme: I know!!
Air & fixed sign: January 20 — February 18

Your horoscope for this week:

It`s not that you`ve been keeping important facts from others but, rather, you`ve been unclear in your own mind about the direction certain arrangements should go. Actually, you`re also lacking crucial information, which means the less you decide the better. Explaining that to others won`t be easy, at least initially. However, once they, too, understand there`s no rush, they`ll join you in exploring these intriguing options.

It`s worth keeping up to date with what`s going on in your neighbourhood. Plans are being made that you would enjoy if you are offered the chance to join in. You care deeply about your community and getting involved in a fund-raising project will boost your prospects. An elderly relative needs a favour from you, but they don`t want to be a nuisance. Offer to help them out so they don`t have to ask. Heed your intuition.

When planets move from one sign to another, there is a ripple effect: a bit like crossing a road with a change in traffic flow. Following on from Saturday`s (17th) New Moon, Mars changes signs (Sunday) and the Sun moves into Aries on Tuesday. This marks a crossroads for many. It might also lead some of those close to you to experience a degree of confusion ahead of Mercury`s retrograde station on Friday as to which direction is best to follow. Though you may not be in a position to take the lead or to guide until closer to the end of the month, you could give considerable reassurance and possibly act as a communications hub. It may be that by reconnecting with someone you haven`t seen the best part of a decade, you effect a useful introduction that has benefits for you too.

———— ———– ———- ——— ——– ——- —— —– —- — — –

Pisces
Personal theme: I believe!!
Water sign: February 19 — March 20

Your horoscope for this week:

This is one of those rare occasions when you`ll insist on having the final word, and in several situations. Recently you`ve been wrestling with circumstances that have been as uncertain as they`ve been puzzling. Now, unexpectedly, things are coming together, and suddenly; but with so much having changed, you need time both to think and gather facts. Ideally, decisions will wait until those are crystal clear.

Arguments that break out on the home front could blow out of all proportion. Bickering will mar your close relationships. Even if you have to be the first to offer an olive branch, don`t be too proud to do so then by this time next week, it will have all been forgotten. Pause and weigh up your options before acting in a group situation. You`ve always been sensitive, and this is an occasion when you should keep other people`s feelings in mind.

You may remember that Saturday`s (17th) New Moon in your sign aligned with the planetoid Chiron. You can think of this planetary body as being like an auditor. The combination suggests the likelihood of a fresh look at all areas of your life and a quick audit check. Coupled with Mars moving into Capricorn on Sunday and Tuesday`s Equinox, you may have many questions to ask. Perhaps you need to know better where someone is coming from, what support they are able to give and what they really need from you in return. It could be that even ahead of Mercury turning retrograde next Friday, there is confusion about your role or a timeline. All these matters can and should be addressed before Mercury turns retrograde. Arranging a meeting in early May to review decisions made this week, might also prove wise. At the very least, this would show your willingness to maintain momentum.
