Seasons of the Witch – Legends and Lore, Ancient Holidays
And Some Not So Ancient!
Goddess Month of Moura
GrannyMoon’s Morning Feast Archives
Remember the ancient ways and keep them sacred!

Live each Season as it passes; breathe the air, drink the drink, taste the fruit, and resign yourself to the influences of each. ~Henry David Thoreau (1817 – 1862)

NOTE: Because of the large number of ancient calendars, many in simultaneous use, as well as different ways of computing holy days (marked by the annual inundation, the solar year, the lunar month, the rising of key stars, and other celestial and terrestrial events), you may find these holy days celebrated a few days earlier or later at your local temple.

Monday – Day of Emotions ( Day of the Moon )
Monday Magick Power Hours: Moonrise. Key Words:
Magick, dreams, health, love, home and family In the word Monday, we can see part of the word Moon. In the romance languages such as Italian or Spanish, this day of the week is called Lunes and clearly relates to the word lunar. On Mondays, a variety of magick may be worked.
Because Monday centers on the energies of the Moon, things like psychism, dreams, feminine energy, health, success in spiritual pursuits, domestic matters, and things of family origin are especially important this day.
Mondays are best for love magick and anything concerning home or family, thus old saying, Mondays child is fair of face, which seems clearly to relate to the themes of love and health.
Angels of Monday are Gabriel, Arcan, Missabu, and Abuzaha. Arcan is known as the king of the angels of air and the “ruler” of Monday. Abuzaha (Abuzohar) serves Monday, and is very responsive to invocations and ritual magick. Missabu is a ministering angel of Arcan.

GrannyMoon Says Today Is: Tiu’s Day – the day of Mars…also Ares, Tiwaz, Tiw (from whom it is named), Tuisco, and Tyr. Tuesday is ruled by Mars, whose Magickal influences are: Passion, courage, aggression, and protection. Tuesday comes under the influence of Mars, the planet associated with vitality, passion, ambition, and raw, unabashed power.
Mars energy makes the mind acute, and the body restless; therefore, on Tuesday we are likely to exert ourselves physically and take action to achieve goals. This day is dynamic and high-spirited, and the prevailing energies may include carelessness and destructiveness as well, so it is good to be cautious—especially while traveling.

Taking Stock
Spell Date: Sunday, February 28, 2016
Today’s waning gibbous moon has good energy for shining a light on all that we still have to do to prepare for spring and planting time, whether in a backyard garden or a more private, inner landscape.
Take a few stones and paint them with runes or other symbols that have meaning to you personally. Then fill a plant pot or small dish with soil or sand. “Plant” the painted stones in the top layer of soil/sand, face down for divination, leaving a space in the middle for your candle. In a meditative space, carve a white candle with messages of all you wish to harvest this year. “Plant” the candle in the pot or dish filled with soil/sand and stones. Light the candle, saying:
“What needs to be cleared to make way for this harvest?”
After the candle has burned all the way down, carefully remove it. See if the wax melted onto any of the stones, and read the patterns there. You can also perform a divination by simply pulling a few of the stones you painted, and interpreting their meaning. May all your gardens be blessed! Polar Bear Vision Quest
Spell Date: Saturday, February 27, 2016
It’s International Polar Bear Day. In addition to the polar bear’s inherent worth as a sacred sibling on our beloved planet, s/he also possesses great magical worth as a totem and guide on both the physical and spiritual planes. Symbolizing transformation and survival, this grand white bear’s most quintessential medicine is the ability to usher us from one phase or quality of life to another. Polar bears are seen as psychopomps (who guide us to the otherworld after death) as well as initiators into new levels of perception and power.
Today, light a white candle, play entrancing instrumental music, and take a vision quest through a snowy landscape to meet the polar bear. Offer a gift, and be open to receiving any guidance or blessings you may be offered. Say thank you and return. Afterward, find a charity that supports polar bears and donate any amount that you can comfortably afford (even a dollar!). This post was written by Tess Whitehurst on February 27, 2016
Weaving Blessings of Friendship
Spell Date: Friday, February 26, 2016
Fridays are rife with the energy of love in all its forms, including that of friendship. Handmade gifts charged with love and gratitude are a wonderful way to show somebody how much you care. Today, make simple friendship bracelets for you and a friend. There are many free patterns readily available online. The knotting and weaving process involved in the bracelets’ creation is perfect for focusing your intent and weaving blessings and energy into the creation. As you knot and weave, focus on chanting the following:
“As I weave, I bless you.
True friends we are, through and through.
Gratitude and love, I give to you.
May all the love and support you give
Return abundantly to you.”
Use the same chant for both bracelets, as learning to love and accept yourself and striving to be a good friend to others in return are important goals as well.

Build a Prosperity Altar
Spell Date: Thursday, February 25, 2016
Sometimes it can be difficult to keep prosperity cycling into our lives. To ensure that you’re creating a positive, healthy relationship with the money you need to care for yourself and loved ones, create a prosperity altar.
Clear off a shelf, a corner of a dresser, or a section of a bookshelf for your altar. Include items such as acorns, your favorite prosperity deity, a dish of rice or salt, coins, cinnamon sticks, raw emerald, aventurine, tiger’s-eye, a gold candle holder, an incense burner, and natural representations of the four elements. Keep green and gold candles handy for quick spells, and a beautiful dish where you can drop coins from time to time to keep the energy of prosperity flowing. Here is a charm to dedicate your prosperity altar:
“I dedicate this altar fair,
By fire, water, earth, and air.
Money is energy that we all need.
Here it flows forth and comes to me!”

Tasha’s Astro Planner for March 2016
Mercury is especially active this month, the media will reflect this I’m sure. Then
besides the Sun, three planets change signs this month, one twice! Busy Mercury swoops from inspired Aquarius to kind Pisces the first week, then into energetic Aries, for a little more than the last week. Venus leaves altruistic Aquarius for compassionate Pisces on the 12th, while Mars leaves diligent Scorpio for expansive Sagittarius as the second week begins. In addition, Saturn turns retrograde on the 25th, an opportunity to check facts and lately built structure.
The Sun and Moon each present an eclipse. The 8th Pisces New Moon brings a powerful Solar Eclipse, the death of the old, the birth or rebirth of helpful and innovative, especially for those with limitations or afflictions. The Libra Moon lunar Eclipse invokes a need for balance; eliminate what is unbalanced. Watch to see changes in the electoral scene during the two weeks between moon events.
Jupiter is still Retrograde; if a reward or an expected benefit is delayed, you might profit in the long run. Be patient, wait to see what happens. Saturn turns Retrograde in Sagittarius until August. One of his important roles is as Father Time, scythe and all. In the days when agriculture ruled the seasons, he brought in the harvest. His turning retrograde brings an opportunity for whatever is growing to have additional time to do so. Patience is important.
The month begins with a Venus/Uranus opportunity sextile on the 2nd, the 4th and 5th watch your tongue; avoid conflict with a Mercury/Mars square. The 5th is energetically bright: Mercury changes signs AM and Mars PM. Late on the 5th and on the 6th frustration may arise with a Sun/Saturn square delay or block. A Sun/Pluto opportunity sextile may point to the necessary changes for success. A 7th and 8th Sun/Jupiter opposition indicates adjustment that a benefit may occur. New Moon Solar Eclipse says time to begin anew. A Conjunction on the 11th Mercury/Neptune warns of possible deception. The 14th, Mercury/Saturn square and Venus/Mars square say stop, look, wait and assess before acting.
On the 16th a Jupiter/Pluto trine means good timing for a beneficial change. The 20th Venus/Neptune conjunction indicates a choice between illusion and spiritual blessing. The 23rd, Jupiter/Saturn square warns excess can lead to clampdown. Mercury/Sun conjunction indicates clarity. Full Moon eclipse means change. The 24th Mercury/Pluto trine means prayers for positive change succeed. The 25th Saturn stationary Retrograde impacts education, religion and social benefits, Venus/Jupiter opposition indicates adjustment in benefits, and Venus/Saturn squared, karmic choices. The 25th and 26th have a Sun/Mars trine, good for getting stuff done, aided by a Venus/Pluto sextile. The 29th sees a helpful Mercury/Saturn Trine, beware the Mercury/Pluto square on the 30th, foot in mouth time! The 31st Mercury/Uranus conjunction brings creative thinking.
Tasha’s Daily Astro Planner for March 2016
Mon. 2/29 Problem Solving Scorpio Moon helps make Monday effective. 7 PM joyful Sagittarius Moon says kick back and relax now.
Tue. 1/3 Cheerful Sagittarius Moon gets the month off to a good start.
Wed. 2/3 Adventurous Sagittarius Moon suggests looking for new ideas. Venus/Uranus sextile supplies them
Thu. 3/3 Efficient Capricorn Moon helps get it all done on time.
Fri. 4/3 Diligent Capricorn Moon makes it easy to dot the i’s and cross the t’s.
Sat. 5/3 Stalwart Capricorn Moon gives way to quirky Aquarius by Noon. Mercury/Mars Square means obstacles. Mercury into Pisces brings compassion to the thinking. Mars into Sagittarius promotes athletic energy.
Sun. 6/3 Altruistic Aquarius Moon bumps against Sun/Saturn square creating friction. Sun/Pluto sextile says look deeper, see better.
Mon. 7/3 Inventive Aquarius Moon starts the week with unique solutions. Sweet Pisces Moon after 2 PM suggests we practice compassion.

Heartwings Love Notes: 714 Recipes Can Be Useful
Heartwings says, “Sometimes it’s fun to wing it, at others, a recipe is helpful.”
A heavy magnet holds a collection of recipes to my refrigerator. There are always more of them than I can reasonably expect to attempt. Some, when I go over them in the future will ultimately prove too time consuming. Others will require ingredients I don’t have on hand or don’t want to invest in. Still, I wanted to think about making them when I first saw them. Occasionally one such recipe will inspire me to change or improve another.
Every few months, when the collection has grown large and cumbersome I go through it and discard those that seemed tempting when I first chose them, yet now they no longer appeal to me. Then I generally pull out one or two at a time to try. Some will become great favorites and get written into my spiral recipe notebook or pressed into the pages of a loose-leaf notebook of the recipes I have accumulated over the years. I truly enjoy cooking and like many who do, have collected recipes for most of my adult life. I also create my own for that spiral notebook.
My husband and I are fond of garlic. One day I invented this recipe for fried eggs that is now a real staple. Melt a tablespoon of butter in a frying pan over medium heat. cover the bottom with three or four large sliced garlic cloves. Turn the heat down to medium low and break in three or four large eggs. Place fresh basil, cilantro, or in a pinch parsley leaves over the eggs. Cook until whites are firm. Carefully divide and turn eggs over. Cover with slices of your favorite cheese. Take from heat and cover. Let cheese melt then serve to two.
Mushrooms and eggs go beautifully together for supper. Beat three or four eggs with two tablespoons of water. (Using water greatly enhances their flavor.) Add fresh herbs to taste, or even dried ones. I like tarragon, thyme is lovely, as is parsley or sage. Add a half a cup of cheddar or Swiss cheese squares to the eggs. Melt a tablespoon of butter over medium heat. Slice in 4 or 5 mushrooms of medium size. They should cover the bottom of the pan. stir and turn until they render up their juice and are cooked through. Add and melt another tablespoon or so of butter. Pour the egg and cheese mixture over the mushrooms. Turn gently as eggs cook until they are done and serve to two.
May you find joy in your kitchen whatever recipes you do or do not use.
Blessings and Best Regards, Tasha Halpert

The Enchanted Closet
“You’ve got to start getting out,“ Riva’s daughter Missy insisted. “Ed’s history. I’m glad you told him to take a hike.”
Riva looked at her. “Maybe you should take over my advice column.”
That made her laugh. “You can’t let your readers down. You’re always telling someone stuck to swing for the seats.”
“You think I’m stuck?“
“Well, it’s been over a year since you dumped Ed.”
“Sweetie. I’m open to meeting someone wonderful, but since your father…“
“Look!” Missy handed her the Worcester paper. “The Rites of Spring Ball at the Mayflower Club. I suggest you go.”
“And do what?“
“Flirt outrageously. I don’t know. You tell me.”
“It’s formal. I’ll have to get a new dress. They can be terribly expensive.“
“Not any more. Go into Boston and check out The Enchanted Closet, in Chinatown. I’ve heard amazing stories about that place.”
“Really? Like what?
“I’m not kidding. I’ve heard it’s magical. But go see for yourself.“
The next day Riva made a reservation for the Spring Rites and then took the train into Boston.
“The Enchanted Closet was a hole in the wall on Beach Street. The blue crepe dress in the window shimmered. Was it too outrageous for a woman her age? She went in and tried it on. As she looked in the mirror she couldn’t believe her eyes. She appeared twenty years younger!
“Very magical garment,” the red headed woman said. “Wonderful things can happen.”
Boldly she rented it.
The night of the Ball she put on the dress and looked in the mirror. At first it seemed too tight. She looked again. No, it fit perfectly. And she didn’t need much makeup. She fixed her hair the way she used to when she was younger.
She took a taxi to the Mayflower Club, handed her ticket to the receptionist and checked her coat. The music was melodious, not raucous, and there were quite a few people there already. She made her way to the bar. A young man in a stylish tux approached her.
“Hi,“ he said. “Lincoln Standish. I’ve not seen you here at the Club before”.
“Riva Cummings,“ she felt a little shy. What was it about him? He looked too young to be interested in her. She smiled to cover her feelings. He was handsome with the sort of shoulders that hinted he did crew in college. Thick sandy hair, aristocrat cheekbones, and to seal the deal he was taller than she was.
He smiled back. “Can I buy you a drink? ”
“Whiskey sour,“ she said. They had always been her favorite. “Have you finished school?”
That made him laugh. “Oh yes. But thanks for the compliment. I could ask the same of you.” She felt so comfortable with him it seemed odd to think he was probably her daughter’s age.
“I’m with a brokerage firm, how about you?“
Before she could answer, the music started . He took her hand and led her to the dance floor. The band began with something slow, suggestive of a splendid night ahead.
“May I compliment you on your dress. Something Scheherazade might have chosen.”
“During one of those thousand and one nights,“ she giggled. She felt enchanted.
“It’s splendid. My compliments to your couturier.”
He swept her into his arms. Her doubts fell away and she felt younger than springtime. The music stopped and then began a Cha Cha.
“Time to collect our drinks and find a table.“
“I love your assuredness Lincoln.”
“Call me Link. That’s more me. How do you spend your days?“
“I write advice to the lovelorn.”
“For real?“
“Absolutely. Syndicated in several hundred newspapers.”
“Nice way to pay the rent,“ he grinned. “I notice the third finger of your left hand is unoccupied.”
“I lost Phil too long ago. He sailed and oh it was horrible.“
“I’m sorry.”
“Oh please. How about you?“
“An eternal bachelor.”
“For real?“
“Just haven’t met her yet. Simple as that.”
“No great tragic love enmeshed in a Hollywood ending?“
He laughed. A pitcher of whiskey sours appeared on their table. “Never had time for Hollywood endings. Grew up with a Marco Polo complex. Wanted to explore the world, uncover great treasures of the orient. Call it a needle in a haystack complex. Have you traveled?”
She sipped her drink. “Just Europe mostly. There’s something about the Rivera that calls to me in the early summer.”
“I can see you on the beach at Nice in one of those string bikinis.“
“Maybe once,” she laughed and sipped her drink. Something so disarming about him, so disconcerting.
“So you advise the lovelorn. What do you tell them?“ He stroked her arm and took her hand.
She laughed, her cheeks flushed. His hand in hers made her shiver. “Usually to take things slow. Not to get carried away on the first date.”
“Something telling there,“ he grinned. “What would you advise me?”
“Not to rush into anything. Wait until you’re a little older before seriously thinking of tying any knots.”
“I’ll have to share that wisdom with my shrink,“ he laughed and refilled her glass.
The evening passed in a blur, and it wasn’t all due to the whiskey sours. They danced and talked and danced some more. She wished the night could last forever. Eventually the band had the audacity to play Good Night Sweetheart. “I’ll just call my cab,” she said, fishing her device out of her evening bag.
“Perhaps I could drop you at your home,“ he suggested.
“No, that’s fine.” She dialed and was promised an immediate ride.
“ They stood in the parking lot of the Mayflower Club. A soft mist in the air suggested eventual rain.
“I’d like to see you again.”
“Yes,“ she smiled. “I think that would be nice.” She felt wistful. If I had my druthers, she thought I’d bring you home.
“Maybe next weekend,“ he said. “I’ve got a ton of work this week. How’s Saturday for you?”
She thought that seemed a little out of character, but said nothing. She nodded in agreement, and gave him a soft promising kiss. Though yearning for more. she insisted to herself that that was enough. Learning the ropes as a cougar would take her a little time. The taxi was prompt. Link helped her in and blew her a kiss.
During that week she thought about her new role as a cougar. She couldn’t quite decide if it fit.
Early Saturday evening her doorbell rang. She opened it. Link stood there. Wait, was that really him? His hair was slightly receding, his shoulders didn’t look nearly as wide, his nose had a hint of red, and he definitely had a slight paunch.
He smiled. “Hi, is your daughter home?”
Oh my, she thought, this is funny. “Link, come in it’s me, Riva.”
He blinked and shook his head. “Riva?”
“Yes,“ she said with a smile. “Tell me something. Did you rent your tux at The Enchanted Closet?”
His whole face lit up. “Yes, was that where you found your dress?”
She laughed. “Yes. Come in and have one of my whiskey sours. I have a pitcher waiting.”

Create a Soft Place to Land
Your Comfort Zone
by Madisyn Taylor
Create a soft place to land in your home, a refuge from the stress of the day.
Our day-to-day demands can quickly take their toll on our well-being if we are not vigilant about caring for ourselves as best we can. One way we can ensure that we have an opportunity to relax and recuperate each day is to create a soft place to land when we arrive home. This landing pad, whether it is an entire room or merely a small corner of a larger area, can provide us with a safe and comforting refuge in which we can decompress and recover from the day’s stresses. There, we are enveloped in feelings of security that transcend other issues that may be unfolding in our homes. Our landing pads also act as way stations that enable us to shift our attention away from our outer-world concerns and back to our inner-world needs.
To create a soft place to land in your home, begin by scouting potential locations. Or perhaps your entire home is your landing pad in which case you may only need to declutter. Your habits can often provide you with insight into the perfect spot, as there may be an area of your home you gravitate to naturally when you are in need of comfort. Any space in which you find it easy to let go of stress and anxiety can become your landing pad. A basement or attic, spare room, or unused storage area, furnished with items that soothe you, can give you the privacy you need to unwind. If you appreciate the elements, you may find that spending time in a section of your garden or outdoor patio helps you release the day’s tensions. Preparing these spaces can be as easy as replacing clutter with a small selection of beautiful objects that put you in a relaxed frame of mind. Remember to consider noise and activity levels while choosing the site of your landing pad. If you know that ordinar! y human commotion will distract you from your purpose, look for a secluded spot.
The soft place to land that you create should inspire within you the mantra, “I can breath here. I can relax here. I know I am safe here.” When you return to your home after braving worldly rigors, you will feel a subtle yet tranquil shift occur inside of you as you settle in to this most personal of retreats and feel centered once again.

Desert Stones and their Energetic Properties
by Andrew Pacholyk, MS, L.Ac.
Desert climates around the world have a powerful and charismatic persona! My allure towards the desert has grown over the years as I discover more and more their illustrious beauty, as well as their treasures. I have learned much about the unique desert plants with curative and healing properties including cacti, the creosote bush, sage, saguaro, desert marigold or the pincushion flower, as well as the palm, elephant and joshua trees. The desert has expressed its beauty through the rising and setting suns, painting the desert floor and sky with a multitude of fascinating colors. The desert air has shown me a sense of empowerment as I associate it through music. I have had the opportunity to visit some of the world’s greatest deserts in search of rocks. As a rockhound, I have gathered a wonderful collection of some of the most powerful and energetic stones on the planet.
Desert Rose: This is a beautiful variety of gypsum that forms in the spaces between sand particles. It traps the loose sand in a unique flower-like crystal structure. Desert roses are usually formed in spherical, disc-shaped crystals with gentle, graceful curving lines creating a beautiful floral image. The formation of these stones are only possible in the coarsest sand found below the water table. Desert rose is helpful in releasing old belief systems and useful in strengthening affirmations with heartfelt intent. Also called the selenite rose, it is useful for gently grounding scattered energy or energy that is wasted on old ideas.
Sedona Vortex Stone: Famous for its energy centers or vortex, Sedona has become a magnet for those seeking powerful enlightenment and a spiritual connection. These amazing stones pulse with energy! My stones have been gathered at the Cathedral Rock Vortex. This vortex, also loving referred to as “mama rock”, has a compassionate, nurturing, feminine energy that engulfs you when you work with these stones. Cathedral Rock Vortex is famous for sacred Native ceremonies of the heart, as well as weddings. Cathedral Rock suggests a grand scale of spiritual energy, sacred presence and a nurturing attraction and it does not disappoint. The warm, red stone has a feeling of reverence and heavenly respect, offering peace, solace and a feeling of unity to the vortex.
Moqui Ball: This is a sacred stone from the Navajo Sandstone formations. They are made of iron and sandstone. These stones offer insight, as they are able to sharpen the eye of its owner, bringing knowledge of what is natural and right. They bring inner peace and harmony to those who embrace them. Said to be used to contact extra-terrestrials, they are used for visioning and for journeys. They act as a protector when placed in one’s environment. They synthesis male/female duality, liberate one’s nature and help to recognize and understand of the self. Used to realign the energy centers, relieving energy blockage, stimulate Qi energy, and offer a feeling of being grounded, centered and balanced.
San Andreas Fault Stone: The San Andreas fault is a crack in the Earth’s crust in California, some 684 miles long. Recently, I was lucky enough to visit the Southern Segment of the infamous San Andreas Fault on a recent visit to Palm Springs. This earth line crosses the Coachella Valley from the Chocolate Mountains in the southeast corner and along the centerline of the Little San Bernardinos. The fault traverses California’s Coachella Valley on the east side. Because of this fault, the Valley has many hot springs. The Santa Rosa Mountains to the West are part of the Lake Elsinore Fault zone. The results of a prehistoric “earth slide” reveals rocks from the Precambrian, Tertiary and Quaternary formations bringing forth stones from the earth’s inner sanctum. Geological researchers have been able find significant amounts of the mineral serpentine, granite, shale and sandstone. These earth stones are grounding especially during times of upheaval in our lives. Considered a “guardian stone”, it embodies the elemental powers of fire and earth, molding together material that brings security, guarded protection and steadfastness. This stone can literally change your life’s “landscape” and offer you a whole new picture or perspective on something that may have been lying just beneath the surface. A great stone to encourage new beginnings.
Barite Rose: These very unique stone is an aggregate of barite (barium sulfate) crystals and sand whose iron content gives it a reddish hue. The barite crystals form a circular array of flat plates, giving the rock a shape similar to a rose blossom. Rose rocks appear either as a single rose bloom or as clusters of blooms. The rose rock was selected as the official state rock of Oklahoma in 1968. The rose rocks I have are lovingly hand picked in Oklahoma by Steve Kowalski. These stones are more rare than diamonds due to the fact they only formed in a small area 250 million years ago from a sea eroding barite deposits. American Indian legend tells that spirits of Indian warriors returned to carve the Barite rose. It provides a strong and delicate connection to the spirit world, and assists one on the path toward the journey and the goal. It can help relax the nervous system. In addition to the dream and spiritual journeying, they offer a good solution for relationship loyalty, addiction, cleansing.
Atacama Desert Halite: The Atacama Desert of northern Chile is the driest desert on Earth in which, aridity not only formed the halite deposits, but has also preserved them almost unaltered. These deposits are largely composed of Ca sulphate and halite. This special white salt is only waiting for the moment to have its inherent stored energy and its bio-photon content set free, by adding water to it. Place some healing salt in a hot bath. Heat magnifies the natural healing properties of the salt. The salt will dissipate slowly, prolonging your enjoyment.
Black Obsidian: Volcanic eruptions in the Black Spring area of the Black Rock Desert in western Utah spewed out the volcanic rocks of rhyolite, pumice, and obsidian. This rich obsidian is a dark colored volcanic glass formed when molten lava cools quickly. It is usually black but colored varieties range from brown to red. Snowflake obsidian, a black obsidian with whitish and gray spots (spherulites) of radiating needle-shaped cristobalite, a high-temperature quartz crystal, and is also found in the Black Rock Desert.
Thundereggs: These stones are rough spheres usually containing centers of chalcedony in the form of agate, jasper or opal. These stones usually look like ordinary rocks on the outside, but when sliced in half and polished, they often reveal a star-like pattern or other intricate patterns and colors. A characteristic feature of thundereggs is that the individual beds they come from can vary in appearance, though they can maintain a certain specific identity within them. Thundereggs are not synonymous with either geodes or agate. A geode is a simple term for a rock with a hollow in it, often with crystals growing on the inside walls of the geode. A thunderegg is a nodule-like, geological structure and is just one of the forms that agate, jasper or opal can assume. These stones, when sliced in half, reveal a non-hallow structure. Another words, it is filled with crystal. These particular stones in my collection are found in the Black Rock Desert, as well as within a rhyolitic lava flow region. Mount Hay Australian Thundereggs are called “Amulet Stones”. It was their belief that if they were powerful enough to contain and hold the energies of a volcanic eruption they could also store the energies of humans making them ideal for healing or protective amulets.
Arizona Meterorites are magnetic and magical. The meteorites that have iron in them are actually attracted to magnets. Magnetic meteorites attracts and repel energies and are use for sedation. It acts as a grounding stone. because of its magnetic charge, it may temporarily align the Chakra, as well as stimulate the subtle auric and etheric bodies. It assists in telepathy, meditation and visualization. They can provide stability and balance including balancing the intellect and our emotion state. It brings a centering perspective and trust within your own intuition. Try using it to alleviate negativity such as fear, anger and grief. It brings positive qualities such as tenacity and endurance.
