Light A Candle Today!
In many different traditions lighting a candle is a sacred action. It expresses more than words can express. It has to do with gratefulness. From time immemorial, people have lit candles in sacred places. You may want to begin or end your day by the sacred ritual of lighting a candle on this gratefulness. Or you may want to light a birthday candle for a friend. One single guideline is all you need: Slow down and do it with full attention.

FULL MOON DECEMBER 7TH 2022 IN GEMINI

This last full moon of the year December 7, 2022 gives way to a lot of emotions we have hidden! Not to worry! Let the light into your heart and you will find your own truth. Find the spark of joy that is within you.

Gemini is the sign of the mind, ruling communication, ideas, and short-term plans, so the Gemini full moon focuses on our minds.

In Native American cultures which tracked the calendar by the Moons, December’s Full Moon was known as the Full Cold Moon. It is fittingly associated with the month when winter cold fastens its grip and the nights become long and dark. Another name for this full Moon is Long Night Moon which is a doubly appropriate name because the midwinter night is indeed long, and because the Moon is above the horizon for a long time. Other names for The December Full Moon are Oak Moon, Winter Moon, and Wolf Moon. This is the time of the Dark Lord, with the Oak being his symbol. It is the time of rebirth.

Cold Moon December 2022 Spiritual Meaning

This Full Moon is about communication, attitude, and sense of adventure. Something has been building inside of us, and now is the time when the energy of the cosmos fairly demands that we let it out. Over the next two weeks, we will discover what this means for us. For now, we can’t sit on our feelings. We need to express them.

There’s no shortage of ways that the stars and planets affect our lives, and each different type of moon can have a serious astrological impact. At its core, the December full moon will bring about a time of both reflection and looking ahead, which is quite fitting as we close out the end of the year.

The spiritual meaning of the cold moon is directly related to its timing as the final full moon of the calendar year. As the last full moon of the year, but rising in the middle of winter, the cold moon marks a time for a detailed, complex reflection, Embrace the spirit of duality of Gemini and balance, in your mind, thoughts of the past, present, and future.

To use the energy of the full cold moon in a productive way, It’s time to think of the year that has passed and reflect on the things you have achieved, what obstacles you’ve overcome, and all the lessons you have learned — but not to lose sight of the future, The darkest, coldest time has nearly passed, and from here the future gets brighter and warmer. Things may have been difficult, but you’ve made it through, and now it’s time to celebrate.

The week of the Full Moon is filled with blessings from The Divine. So take some time to stop in the midst of the chaos of the holidays and appreciate all of the spiritual blessings that are coming to us at this time.

We also have another wonderful event occurring the Winter Solstice on December 21, 2022. The Winter solstice is an astronomical phenomenon which marks the shortest day and the longest night of the year.

This Moon is all about our feelings being expressed and verbalized. Your head may feel a little busy and our sub-conscious is out on full show.

Clean and shine the diamond of your soul and let that light shine before everyone, so that people wonder as you pass by-what it was that just touched their soul.

Archangel Raphael

Heal the Past with Archangel Raphael During this Full Moon and throughout the month, call upon Archangel Raphael. He is here to help you through this time and to heal away your fears, worries, and concerns. Archangel Raphael, whose name means, “God Heals”, is here to shower you with his green light energy of abundance, healing and movement.

Healing comes in many forms. Whether physical, energetic, or spiritual, Raphael helps you on all levels. During this month call upon him to guide you with visions, signs, and messages and make sure to pay close attention to your surroundings after you ask. These signs will come in different forms such as songs, words in a passing conversation, and those unexpected things that pop up out of the blue.

Dreams are also good ways to receive these things so please do your best to recall your dreams. A simple way is to keep a pad of paper with pen or record from your cell phone, have these next to your bed, and upon waking from your dream, take note of keys parts of the dream that will help you recall the full dream later. Upon deciphering your dream, you will see the message unfold. If you don’t know how to do this, seek out a person who does dream interpretation, like ME, to help you uncover the messages within your dreams.

Cold Full Moon

With this Full Moon it’s a shift of energy and conscious comprehension. Time for old ways to float away and for the veil to be lifted. It’s time to allow what was once thought to be so unbelievable, to be believable! Allow yourself to entertain ideas that you normally would not. Be optimistic and move with the momentum that is already there. Archangel Raphael will help bring forth what it is you need to address and let go and will also guide you to the learning that you need, helping you become more understanding.

The week of the Full Moon is filled with blessings from The Divine. So take some time to stop in the midst of the chaos of the holidays and appreciate all of the spiritual blessings that are coming to us at this time.

The Full Moon Is A Good Time To Set Your Intentions For The Next Year.
Think about what it is you really would like to accomplish in the next twelve months.
Write it out in a journal and update it throughout the year.
Make a vision board so you have a visual of what it is you want to achieve.

Llewellyn’s Spell A Day

Drawing the Sugarplum Faeries
DECEMBER 04, 2022 BY RAVEN DIGITALIS

When Witches think about “drawing,” we often think of invocation, such as Wicca’s poetic “Drawing Down the Moon” written by Doreen Valiente. For this spell, we will actually be drawing with pencils, pens, markers, paints, or whatever suits your fancy.

Winter is renowned to be a time when faeries and Upper World spirits interact with those on the mortal plane.

Go outside to a place where you can sit comfortably. Make an offering to the fae, such as cookies, milk, honey, or anything sweet. Ask the wintertime faeries to surround you with their abundance and joy, and tell them you’d like to sketch their image. Smile and ask politely!

Take time drawing one or more images of whatever comes to mind. You will likely find yourself entering a trancelike state while doing so. Place these images on your wintertime altar or keep them in a sacred space so their magick can be preserved.

Sigil Bell Spell
DECEMBER 03, 2022 BY ASTREA TAYLOR

Bells are often used in witchcraft to call forth blessings, to bring a change, or to call spirits. Bells are even more powerful when they’re charged with a sigil. This historical practice has roots in witchcraft. This spell requires a bell, paper, and a marker (fine-tipped if possible).

Ring the bell and determine your intention for the bell. Speak your intention out loud with confidence, and write it down on the paper. Next, write down seven words associated with the intention. Draw symbols for each word. Combine the symbols to form a sigil.

When your sigil is done, hold the bell, close your eyes, and really feel your intention. Envision your sigil floating before you, then see it catch fire and sustain the flame.

With the marker, draw the sigil on the inside of the bell. Imagine the flame touching this sigil too.

Ring the bell, and as the sound travels, envision that the sigil’s meaning is being carried forth. Ring the bell nine more times to complete the spell.

Holiday Spirit
DECEMBER 02, 2022 BY ELIZABETH BARRETTE

Early winter is the holiday season. Many cultures feature major holidays at this time: some fixed, like Christmas, some based on astronomical events, like Yule, and others more variable, like Hanukkah. If you have friends from many traditions, you could wind up celebrating all month long. This creates a sense of holiday spirit. Sometimes all the excitement can get exhausting, though.

Here is an invocation for the Holiday Spirit to help you through this time. You will need a symbol of your favorite winter holiday, such as a sprig of mistletoe or a holly-shaped pin for Yule. Hold your hands over the symbol and say:

I invoke the Holiday Spirit. Watch
over me in your season as I celebrate
Yule. [Add any other holidays
you plan to observe, too.]
Let my mind stay calm, my heart
joyful, and my body full of energy.
As I will, so mote it be.

Afterward, hang the symbol in your home if you will be hosting events, or wear it if you plan to visit more.

Citrine Protection Spell
DECEMBER 01, 2022 BY JASON MANKEY

We love the holiday season, but it can be stressful and chaotic, turning otherwise good folks into giant balls of negative energy. We tend to encounter this negativity most often when we go Yule shopping. It would be one thing if people could keep their negativity to themselves, but that’s seldom the case. Luckily, we always carry a secret weapon with us: a citrine crystal.

Citrine is a pale yellow quartz, and it’s our favorite crystal to use for protection. Before going shopping, place a piece of citrine in your pocket or purse. When you feel the bad energy of others starting to creep up on you, grab the citrine with your dominant hand and say either aloud or in your head:

My citrine is a shield.
Bad energy must yield!

The citrine will act as a shield, blocking the negative energy.

A Bathtime Rebalancing
NOVEMBER 30, 2022 BY SUSAN PESZNECKER

There’s nothing like a soak in the tub for relaxation, and if you can also cleanse and balance your personal energies, even better!

Gather these items:

  • 1 cup kosher or sea salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon or more of frankincense, juniper, lavender, or rosemary essential oil
  • A bowl
  • 3 bay leaves
  • A white candle and holder
  • An unbreakable cup
  • A clean towel
  • Clean pajamas

Place the salt and essential oil(s) in a bowl. Use your fingers to mix well.

Run a bath to your desired temperature, adding the salt mixture and the bay leaves directly under the water stream. Light the candle and place it safely near the tub.

When the tub is full, remove your clothes and toss them into the laundry. Step into the bath, feeling the cleansing waters close around you. If you can’t immerse yourself, use the cup to pour water over your head. Feel your stress and tensions being washed away.

Step out, drying yourself with the towel and donning the pj’s. Embrace a sense of freshness, renewal, and balance. Extinguish the candle.

The Family You Create
NOVEMBER 29, 2022 BY DEBORAH BLAKE

The holidays can be difficult for people who don’t have good relationships with their family, or even for those who do but who live far away from those they wish they could be with. Thankfully there is more than one kind of family. There is the family you were born to and the family you create. For many Witches, some of those folks may be part of the local Pagan community, if they have one. They might also be friends or people you work with or even your pets. This can be a good time to strengthen those ties or to open your home to other people who might need a “family” to share the holidays with. If this is something you want to work on this year, try lighting a candle and say:

Family made of friendship bright,
Help me make this season light.

Make sure to snuff out the candle when done.

Blessing the Traveler
NOVEMBER 28, 2022 BY ELIZABETH BARRETTE

The Rural Dionysia was a festival of fertility, travel, and entertainment. People baked phallic bread loaves and poured offerings of wine and water. They traveled from town to town visiting friends. They held games, contests, plays, concerts, and other revelries.

During the modern holiday season, people also travel, so now is a good time for a blessing. For this spell you will need wine or grape juice, plus a bit of ivy, such as a sprig of silk leaves, a metal brooch, etc.

Raise the ivy to the four directions in turn, saying:

For protection against dangers
from the east, from the south, from
the west, and from the north.

Sprinkle a few drops of wine or grape juice over the ivy. Then say:

Dionysus, god of revelry, guard
the traveler along the journey. Let
none be waylaid by mischance and
all reach their destination safely.

Carry the ivy for protection while traveling.

Heartwings Love Notes 1065 Future Shock Is Real

Heartwings says, “It is not easy to adjust to rising prices as one gets older.”

Some of my older friends may feel as I do: what happened to money? In 1970, a book called Future Shock by Alvin Toffler gained a lot of publicity. Perhaps it ought to be reissued. It describes how persons are affected by changes, especially financial, over time. For instance, when I was a child I could buy a comic book for a dime and an ice cream cone for five cents. When I used to take my little ones for a cone it was a quarter. I don’t have to tell you, times have changed. What is more shocking is by how much any item seems to increase.

When McDonald’s first began to raise its golden arches in New England, there was one near where I took the children for swimming lessons. A dollar bought us a drink, a burger, and fries, with change. Now there are many similar venues and you can’t find anything for a dollar in any of them. Of course, to the twenty-somethings who work and may lunch at a fast-food restaurant, that is business as usual. To families trying to eat healthy meals, it’s an occasional treat, because restaurants cost so much more than they used to.
Not only restaurants but everything costs so much more, most especially to someone like me who grew up licking a five cent ice cream cone.

I remember my grandmother would save up her pennies and when they filled her hands, she would give them to me with a simple ritual she had either devised or learned-I never asked her where it came from. Holding her closed hands full of pennies over mine, also closed, she would say, “Hold fast all I give you three times, then open her hands and spill the pennies into mine, held open in expectation. I was delighted with my small hoard and spent it on whatever took my fancy at the time.

Coping with this difference between then and now, has for me become a work in progress. I am a firm believer in the abundance prayer and also in the principle it represents: I will always have enough for what I need. This grows increasingly more difficult. “Reality” in the form of visits to the supermarket, or a meal at a restaurant would seem to contradict this. Yet why should I not believe? My abundance need not falter or fail to keep pace with inflation. The child that treasured her pennies needs reassurance, and only I can give it, which I do.

So, when doubt creeps in and I wonder how to cope, I repeat my prayer ending with the affirmation that all is well for me and likely to remain so. Then I do what I need to do and carry on. So far, it seems to be working, let’s hope it continues.

May you deal creatively with future shock if and when it arises.

Blessings and Best Regards, Tasha Halpert

P.S. Have you experienced this for yourself? How have you coped? If you’d care to share, I would love to hear what you have to say. Let me know at tashahal@gmail.com, I’m hoping to hear.

Uniting in Thought and Action

When we are in circle with others, the energy stays contained within the group, giving back to all.

There are many reasons for why a gathering of people in a circle is powerful. A circle is a shape that is found repeatedly throughout the natural world, and it is a symbol of perfection. We recreate this perfect shape when we join others to form a circle. Being in a circle allows us to experience each other as equals. Each person is the same distance apart from the next participant, and no one is seated higher than or stands apart from others in a circle. From tribal circles to the mythical round table of King Arthur, the circle has been the shape adopted by gatherings throughout history.

The circle is acknowledged as an archetype of wholeness and integration, with the center of a circle universally understood to symbolize Spirit – the Source. When a group of people come together in a circle, they are united. This unity becomes even more powerful when each person reaches out to touch a neighbor and clasps hands. This physical connection unites thought and action, mind and body, and spirit and form in a circle. Because a circle has no beginning and no end, the agreement to connect in a circle allows energy to circulate from one person to the next, rather than being dissipated into the environment.

Like a candle used to light another candle, the connection with spirit that results when one person joins hands with another is greater than if each person were to stand alone. People who take part in a circle find that their power increases exponentially while with the group. Like a drop of water rippling on the surface of a pond, the waves of energy produced in a circle radiate outward in circular motion. While one person may act like a single beacon that emanates light, a circle of people is like a satellite dish that sends out energy. There is power in numbers, and when the commitment is made by many to face one another, clasp hands, and focus on one intention, their circle emanates ripples of energy that can change the world.

Getting Run Down

Getting worn out and run down robs you of receiving what you need from the universe.

Our natural state of being is vibrant, happy to be alive. Yet, there can be times when we feel run down and worn out. This does not mean that we are lazy or unfit for the tasks in our lives; it means that we need to recharge our batteries and find a way of keeping them charged. Vitamins and extra rest can be very helpful in restoring our physical bodies. And if we are willing to delve deeper, we may discover that there is an underlying cause for our exhaustion.

Whenever you are feeling run down, take an honest look at how you have been thinking, feeling and acting. You will likely find a belief, behavior pattern or even a relationship that is out of alignment with who you really are. Perhaps you believe you have to be perfect at everything or you have been bending over backwards to get people to like you. Maybe you are dealing with mild depression or simply have too much on your plate right now. There may also be people or situations in your life which are draining your energy. Once you get clear on the root cause, you can weed it out and better direct your flow of energy in the future.

In time, you might notice that the reasons you feel run down have less to do with how much you are doing and more to do with the fact that in your heart, you would rather be doing something else entirely. From now on, try and listen to what your heart really wants. It may take meditation, or just a moment of silent tuning in to gain the clarity you need, but it is well worth the effort. When you know what you truly want to do, and honor that in all situations, you will find that getting run down is a thing of the past.

Trial and Error

Keeping an open mind is the most important step when learning to listen to divine guidance.

Anyone who has asked for divine guidance knows that it can be challenging to trust it when it comes. This is because divine guidance comes in many forms and it is sometimes hard to locate it. We aren’t sure if we are meant to trust our thoughts, our feelings, our dreams, or our intuitions to be the carriers of divine wisdom. We are not sure if advice from a friend is the form in which the guidance has come into the world, or if our own opinion is the source of wisdom we need to take seriously. The ability to sort all this out comes with trial and error, and the best way to learn to recognize divine guidance is to engage in the process of asking and receiving.

Sometimes when we ask for guidance, we already have a sense of what we want to hear. At such times, receiving guidance can be difficult, because we don’t want to hear anything that appears to be in opposition to our desire. Therefore, one of the most important qualities we need to cultivate if we are to receive guidance is an open mind. It helps to acknowledge what we want, and then to symbolically set it aside, making room for whatever wisdom comes through to us.

Cultivating an active relationship with the divine is the essential ingredient to being able to receive and trust guidance when it comes our way. We can make a daily practice of this by using a set of runes, a deck of cards, or a pendulum. We can also use our journals, developing a relationship with the divine through the written word. As we request and receive guidance, we might take notes on our experiences. Over time we will begin to recognize when we were able to hear correctly and when we were not. In this way, we will gradually attune ourselves to our particular relationship with the divine. Begin to trust the guidance you are receiving and soon you will find it flowing with ease.

25+ Reasons To Keep Apple Cider Vinegar In Your Cupboard
~Jill Nystul

I’ve shared many health and beauty ideas in the past that feature apple cider vinegar (ACV) as one of the main ingredients, so I thought it was high time that I gave this magic elixir more of the attention it so rightly deserves!

Before I get started, let me emphasize that when I refer to apple cider vinegar, I’m talking about raw, organic ACV with the “mother,” which is unfiltered and contains a lot of good, gut-friendly bacteria. Bragg’s Apple Cider Vinegar is a good option, and you can usually find at the grocery store.

Everyone’s favorite packing material can help you solve a surprising number of everyday problems! Continue Reading
There are two main ways to enjoy the benefits of apple cider vinegar – by drinking it, and by using it topically.

Benefits of Drinking Apple Cider Vinegar
Tame Tummy Troubles – The pectin content in ACV helps treat diarrhea by forming bulk fibrous matter. The pectin also forms a protective coat for soothing the colon lining and intestinal spasms. Try mixing one or two tablespoons into water, or clear juice like apple juice.

Prevent Indigestion – Sip before eating, especially if you know you’re going to indulge in foods that cause indigestion. Add 1 teaspoon of honey and 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar to a glass of warm water and drink it 30 minutes before you dine.

Stuffy Nose – Mix a teaspoon of apple cider vinegar in a glass of water and drink to help sinus drainage.

Help for Hiccups – Since hiccups are often caused by either low stomach acid slowing the digestion of protein, or eating too much…ACV can be a great solution for hiccups. It restores the acid balance in the stomach and eases irritating spasms of the diaphragm.

Sore Throat – As soon as you feel the prickle of a sore throat, take some ACV to help head off the infection at the pass. Turns out, most germs can’t survive in the acidic environment vinegar creates. Just mix ¼ cup apple cider vinegar with ¼ cup warm water and gargle every hour or so.

Exhaustion – Exercise and sometimes extreme stress cause lactic acid to build up in the body, causing fatigue. Apple cider vinegar contains potassium and enzymes that may relieve that tired feeling. Next time you’re feeling beat, add a tablespoon or two of apple cider vinegar to a glass of chilled vegetable drink or to a glass of water.

Relieve Nighttime Leg Cramps – ACV taken diluted in water twice daily, will dissolve acid crystals in the blood and provide potassium, calcium and other essential minerals to the body needed to ease the leg cramps.

Banish Bad Breath – Due to its acidic properties, Apple Cider Vinegar makes a wonderful remedy for bad breath or halitosis. Simply add 1/2 tablespoon of ACV into a cup of water and gargle the mixture in your mouth for 10 seconds at a time until the cup is empty.

Control Blood Sugar – The anti-glycemic effects of apple cider vinegar help to improve insulin sensitivity, which is essential to maintain the sugar levels of blood. Mix one teaspoon of Apple Cider Vinegar in a glass of filtered water and take 3 times a day to steady your stomach’s rate of digestion which in turn will keep blood sugar levels more consistent. If you are diabetic, consult your physician.

There’s very little that vinegar can’t do, and this “best of the best” list of uses for vinegar proves it! Continue Reading

Boost Weight Loss – Many people claim that Apple Cider Vinegar promotes weight loss by speeding up the metabolism. A suggested remedy is to mix 2 teaspoons of the vinegar into a glass of water and drink this before every meal or sip it slowly throughout the day.

Control Cholesterol – Research has indicated that apple cider vinegar improves the lipid profile of blood by decreasing the levels of triglycerides and low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) or bad cholesterol, as also by increasing the levels of high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C) or good cholesterol. If you have high cholesterol, consult your physician.
Improve Bone Health – The abundance of calcium, potassium, magnesium, and other vital minerals, makes apple cider vinegar a good candidate for maintaining bone health.

Relieve Arthritis Pain – The potassium in cider vinegar may be especially beneficial because it works to prevent calcium build-up in the joints, which is linked to joint stiffness.

As I mentioned at the beginning, as good as ACV is for you… it doesn’t taste very nice! Which begs the question: how on earth are you supposed to get past that???

Ways You Can Benefit From Apple Cider Vinegar
Most “hardcore” ACV enthusiasts just add a bit of water, and then it’s “bottoms up!” But for more sensitive folks like myself, there’s an easier way! Just add some raw honey, stevia or agave to give it a little sweetness, or chase it with a little sweetened apple juice. Whatever works for you!
Here are some general guidelines:

For daily maintenance:
2 teaspoons of ACV in 8oz of water between once and twice a day (before or during meals)

For acute conditions (like acid reflux, cough, bronchitis, or sore throat):
1 tablespoon of ACV in 8oz of water three times a day (before or during meals)

Benefits of Using Apple Cider Vinegar Topically
Ways You Can Benefit From Apple Cider Vinegar
Reduce Swelling
Rubbing apple cider vinegar onto swollen hands or feet reduces swelling. A wonderful thing during pregnancy!

Fight Yeast Infections
One of the best home remedies to treat a yeast infection is Apple Cider Vinegar. Add 1 and a half cups of ACV into a bathtub filled with warm water, and then soak in it for about 20 minutes. This should be done once a day for the first 3 days of the infection.

Soothing Bath Soak
The next time you get ready to slip into a warm bath, add one to two capfuls of apple cider vinegar. It draws toxins out of the body, leaving behind toned and moisturized skin.]

Foot and Skin Fungus
Just as ACV can help kill Candida in the body, it is often useful against yeast and fungus on the skin and nails. If you have foot or toe fungus, soak the feet in 1 cup of ACV in water or apply directly to the affected area. For skin fungus or yeast, apply ACV directly. For children or those with sensitive skin, it is best to dilute the ACV with water before applying to the skin.
Invigorating Foot Soak

Use apple cider vinegar to soothe aching and swollen feet.

Hair Rinse
Acetic acid, the main ingredient in ACV, will remove build up from styling products and conditioners and strengthen the hair shaft, leaving you with soft, shiny strands. It will also balance hair’s pH level, simulate the scalp to promote hair growth, and is a cure for dandruff. Dilute 1/3 cup ACV in 4 cups of water and pour over your hair after shampooing. Leave it in for a few seconds before rinse your hair using cold water to seal the hair shaft and create more shine.

Facial Mask
Mix equal parts apple cider vinegar and bentonite clay, add 1 tablespoon raw honey. Apply to skin. Leave this detoxifying, deep-pore treatment on for 10-15 minutes before rinsing off with warm water.
Ways You Can Benefit From Apple Cider Vinegar

Skin Toner
Psoriasis sufferers praise apple cider vinegar for reducing inflammation. Apply a few drops to a cotton ball and rub on your T-zone or other dry spots to prevent breakouts and minimize blemishes.

Reduce Age Spots
Apple Cider Vinegar contains sulfur that fights the effects of aging, including age spots. Dab age spots, or liver spots, with ACV every night before you go to sleep. Do not wash off the vinegar. If you feel a stinging sensation, dilute the vinegar with water. Wash off in the morning.

Acne Remedy
ACV kills bacteria and balances skin’s pH level. It also absorbs excessive oil from our skin, which is a leading cause of acne. Mix one part vinegar to 3-4 parts water. Apply solution directly to your skin with clean cotton pad, and leave it there for about ten minutes. After ten minutes, rinse off the vinegar. Repeat this three times a day. For severe cases of acne, the solution can be used overnight without rinsing.

Teeth Whitener
Gargle with apple cider vinegar in the morning. The vinegar helps remove stains, whiten teeth, and kill bacteria in your mouth and gums. Brush as usual after you gargle.

Sunburn Relief
Relieve the pain of a sunburn and minimize peeling by applying a wash cloth soaked in apple cider vinegar to the area.
Ways You Can Benefit From Apple Cider Vinegar

Vein Pain
ACV is great for varicose veins because it improves circulation in the vein wall and helps to ease the bulging and swelling vein so it is less noticeable and less painful. Combine equal parts ACV and your favorite lotion. Apply morning and night to varicose veins in a circular motion until absorbed. Depending on the severity of your varicose veins, you should begin to see improvement within a month.

Natural Deodorant
Most commercial deodorants are antiperspirants, which block your ability to sweat. Since sweat is one of your body’s natural means of detoxification, blocking your ability to sweat can block your ability to detoxify. ACV absorbs and neutralizes odors. Simply rub a bit of ACV in your underarms. The vinegary smell dissipates once it dries.

Wart Removal
Try placing a cotton pad soaked in apple cider vinegar on top, then secure with a bandage. Leave on overnight and remove in the morning. If you stick to this consistently for a week, you should start to see results.

Coach Gilberto Chapter 40
by Stephen Halpert

After his shower, Gilberto returned to their bedroom. He opened his bureau and peered at his assortment of pajamas. He finally decided instead on one of his old soccer team tee shirts. He really enjoyed the feel of the cotton washed many hundreds of times, softening it and making it comfortable.
Maria wore a bra and black bikini briefs. She smiled at Gilberto. “This time of night your package is particularly enthralling.”
His forehead crinkled. “Package? Something I don’t know about?”
“Oh, never mind,” she grinned. “I love you, especially those innocent aspects that help define your personality.”
He shrugged and smiled at her. “I love that black bra. It’s new?”
“Yes,” she grinned.” Thank you for noticing.”
He grinned back, “I always notice. Who else would I want to look at besides you?” He sat on the bed.
“I won’t say anything.” She climbed onto the bed beside him. Then she giggled and kissed him, her lips moving from his ear and neck slowly down past his belly toward his shaft.
He giggled. “You know just what to do and you know what you’re doing does to me?”
“Of course, I do,” she grinned, her hand moving gently over his growing package.
“We’re alone,” she sighed. He felt her body against him. “Just me and you and I can have you any way I want.”
He chuckled. “Nice that Joey and Mona are staying over with friends.” He enjoyed her eagerness. “Sure. I like it when you run the show. It’s always different, always a turn on.”
“It’s as much for me when you take your time, and I don’t feel a need to rush.”
His expression changed. ‘I don’t rush. If you knew how I’d like to devour you…”
“We do that,” she laughed. “But I’m glad when you go slow.”
He breathed harder, his palms touching her hips, sliding between her thighs.
Her breath quickened. “Yes, you know exactly where to touch me. You’re such an incredibly amazing lover.”
“Thank you,” he suddenly felt an innocence he wasn’t used to. He felt younger, the boy inside him laughing, making him smile.
She looked into his eyes. “We could go on this way all night.”
He smiled back and nodded.” Like those nights on our honeymoon at Niagara Falls.”
“Or, she said with an impish grin “we could look for the murderer.”
He frowned. “Yes, I get ideas, but nothing solid.”
“Rain told me that when a situation feels absolutely impossible, that’s when the important knowing is revealed.”
“You talk to Rain about catching the murderer?”
She smiled. “You seem surprise. Me and Rain have some incredibly intense conversations.”
He nodded. “I can imagine. Want to share some of her insights?”
Maria looked thoughtful. “Nothing specific really, except she feels the murderer will ultimately reveal him or herself.”
He frowned. “And in the meantime, we pull up chairs and wait?”
“No,” she said. “You’re going to plan a dinner party for the suspects. That’s really all you need to do. The conversations should be very revealing.”
He reached for her. That’s then, this is now.” He pulled her closer. His fingers undoing her bra, his hand reaching down inside her briefs.
She breathed harder and started to purr.
The phone rang. “Oops!” Maria picked it up, turning on the speaker. It was Rain.
“Is this a bad time.”
“No,” Maria giggled. It’s never a bad time cause its always a good time, no matter what.”
“Interesting. But I wouldn’t want to bother you and Casanova. Tell him that Lara Parker just called. Apparently, she and Ed Long had a terrible row. She called the police, asked them to show him out. Apparently either or both of them were smashed. Now you know as much as I do.”
Maria nodded. “I’ll tell Gilberto.”
Rain said, “Good,” and hung up.
“Maybe the plot thickens,” he said. “But if that’s all then you and me are here in our own private bubble now.” He scooped her up, then pulled the covers over them. “Our tent,” he whispered holding high the sheet and blanket. “We’re just us in the middle of nowhere”
She whispered. “I want us to last forever, just the way we are now.”
Gilberto smiled. “No doubt we will.”
At three o’clock in the morning their phone rang. It was Lara Parker. Instantly, Gilberto knew something was very wrong. Maria took the phone and put it on speaker.
“He came back,” Lara’s voice shook. “He’d never gone home, but instead to the bar he frequents. He was smashed, more than I’ve ever known him to be. That was awful enough, but then he said he was going to kill me, carve me up in little pieces and feed me to the creatures in a swamp.”
“That must have been terrifying for you,” Maria said. “I hope…”
“It gets worse,” her voice shook. “He is bigger and stronger than me. And he was determined.”
“He accosted you?” Maria said. She looked at Gilberto who sat daze, taking everything in.
He forced me, treated me like I was some whore. The son of a bitch raped me.”
“Call the police,” Gilberto shouted. “That’s their job to keep crazy people away from the rest of us.”
“I can’t. again, They took him away; he called his lawyer then was released. I hear you, Gilberto. I understand where you’re coming from. But that kind of publicity could destroy Houndstooth. The press would eat it up.”
“Yes,” Maria said. “I understand. Where is he now?”
I don’t know, probably home in bed, smashed.”
“I think you need protection. Call Rain. Then if he comes back …”
“I hate him,” Lara Parker said. “I’d kill him if I had the chance.”
“Please,” Gilberto said softly. “Feeling that way will only cause you pain and perhaps illness. “
Maria chimed in. ” I can’t expect you to be forgiving. That humiliation.”
Now Lara was crying, a long persistent wail.
“Would you like us to come be with you?” he asked.
“No,” she stopped and sniffed. “Now that I’ve told you what happened, I’ll be fine. I have my father’s old derringer and fortunately I know how to use it. I’m a damn good shot.”
To be continued.

What Cats Really Want for Christmas
By Angie Bailey

The holidays are upon us, and everyone’s writing their letters to Santa, hoping they’ll find that special something underneath the tree. Even cats have gift wish lists and would be pawsitively pleased to have their holiday dreams fulfilled.

Here are six presents cats would scratch onto their Christmas lists, most of them unwrappable, yet highly coveted.

A box of the month club makes for an ideal cat gift
Cats and boxes go together like eggnog and figgy pudding. Just like we humans enjoy a festive wine or jelly-of-the-month club membership, cats would delight in a box-of-the-month club. Imagine their joy in finding a brand new box sitting on the doorstep each month — and the boxes would be empty, not tainted with rubbish from their people’s online orders.

Gift your cat a broken faucet
Forget an expensive cat fountain; kitties are over the moon when we forget to completely turn off a faucet, and they can enjoy a little happy hour from the comfortable elevation of the kitchen or bathroom counter. What’s better than that? A broken faucet that constantly drips! It won’t easily fit inside a stocking, but it’s one of those “experience” gifts that will make Santa look like a hero. Plus, we save money on a repair person or expensive tools and plumbing parts. Double win!

Crumpled gift wrapping is the perfect cat gift
Most everyone enjoys opening gifts on Christmas morning. We, of course, look forward to the contents of the pretty packages; however, cats would rather pounce around in the crumpled paper of the gift-unwrapping aftermath. The trouble is, many of us thoughtless humans immediately toss the discarded paper into a trash bag, while cats sit on the sidelines.

Your cat would love a spycam
Cats like knowing our whereabouts every moment of every day. Even when they’re sleeping, their feline radar’s switch is flipped, and they can sense when we’ve entered their two favorite rooms: the kitchen and the bathroom. Kitties would love nothing more than a fancy spycam that follows us wherever we go outside the home. They’d be able to track when we’re in the grocery store looking at the cat treat shelves or (gasp!) petting another cat.

A case of toilet paper
Some cats are quite the artists when given the blank canvas of a toilet paper roll. Gifted kittens seem to show creative promise at a young age; however, mature cats have been known to create some legendary masterpieces in their studios (aka, our bathrooms). These artistic cats would be over the moon to find a case of gift-wrapped toilet paper underneath ol’
tannenbaum. Note to Santa: Single-ply rolls are perfectly acceptable for novices, while double-ply is reserved for more experienced paws. If a cat’s medium is triple-ply, you should probably contact a gallery and arrange a show, pronto.

Clones of us
Our kitties have a special bond with us and usually prefer us to be within their vision and earshot — you know, in case there are any treat- or warm laundry-related sights and sounds. If we have to leave our homes (perish the thought!), they feel utterly lost. Well, let’s be real — the lost feeling lasts about five minutes and then they’re in napland. What if cats had access to a clone of you, though? So even when we’re not home, we are home. It does sound a little science fiction-y and maybe creepy, but what if?

Imagine a cat’s joy in a world where we never leave home and are constantly at their beck and call. We hear Santa has some pretty sophisticated factories up there at the North Pole, so you never know. And if an entire clone is impossible, identical reproductions of our laps would be a close second.

Georgia Nicols Weekly Horoscope
December 04, 2022

Order Now
The 2023 Annual Forecasts are available for pre-order. Annual Forecasts will be sent via e-mail on January 1st.

All Signs
This week we have a Full Moon in Gemini that will line up with retrograde Mars on Wednesday. This will trigger a buildup of tension on Monday and Tuesday as we approach that Full Moon. (Every month, problems intensify before the Full Moon; and afterwards, they diminish or disappear.) But this week, because of the influence of retrograde Mars, we might feel anger and revenge about past hurts. All that sulky stuff. A wise teacher once told me when you hold on to a grudge, it’s like holding on to a hot pot with both hands. You are the one who gets hurt. (I know this is true; nevertheless, I keep oven mitts in every room of the house.)

Aries (March 21-April 19)
You are fast-moving, fast-acting. In fact, you’re so fast, you often blurt out something without thinking. Be smart this week because the Full Moon on Wednesday could trip you up. Earlier in the week, you might feel tension building up. Perhaps a past resentment about something? Annoyed feelings might permeate your thoughts, which means you could say something you later regret. It might create an argument with a neighbour, sibling or relative. It could trigger an accident while jogging, biking or driving. Hey, you don’t need this. (What you need is a of scenery!) Be smart and remind yourself to think twice before you respond. This way you’ll have no regrets.

Taurus (April 20-May 20)
Keep your eyes open this week because as I’ve mentioned before, you are the financial wizard of the zodiac; and this week, the Full Moon on Wednesday will set up a dynamic tension between both your Money Houses. In fact, this tension will build on Monday and Tuesday. It might pertain to difficulties in getting a mortgage, or a loan, or paying bills, taxes or debt. It might be a threat to your earnings. It is definitely an indication of financial angst. The thing to know is that things will look worse before the Full Moon peaks on Wednesday night. Then afterwards – they will improve! Money will come your way. Therefore, wait until Thursday or Friday to make financial decisions because things will look much better.

Gemini (May 21-June 20)
“Hello Sunshine!” The only Full Moon in your sign all year is taking place this week on Wednesday. Naturally, this will create tension between you and others. But hey — you can handle this with grace and patience because both Mercury and Venus are opposite your sign now, and they will ameliorate difficult situations. Mercury will encourage easy communications with others. And Venus is in the best position possible to promote talking to partners, spouses, close friends and members of the general public. This means you’ve got this! You can handle this tension with skilful means. Be polite; listen and keep smiling. By the end of the week, you’re laughing!

Cancer (June 21-July 22)
The Moon is your ruler, and this week there will be a Full Moon on Wednesday, with a buildup of tension beforehand on Monday and Tuesday. This particular Full Moon is tricky because it lines up with retrograde Mars, in a “hidden” part of your chart. This means you might feel upset about past hurts, insensitive comments or snubs. And yet, you can’t speak up. As a result, you will nurse these grudges privately. As you read these words, you can see there’s no upside to this. Only you are suffering. By the end of the week, this will be history. Why not move on? Why waste your precious time on this stuff?

Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)
Each month, the Full Moon is different. It occurs in a different sign, which gives it a different flavour. As such, it takes place in a different part of your chart, which activates different tensions in your life. Wednesday’s Full Moon might create problems with friends and your kids. It might also create problems with clubs and groups. Romantic relationships might take a hit. Because this Full Moon lines up with retrograde Mars, you might be upset about old business with these people. Something from the past. Perhaps old jealousies with a romantic partner? (Grrr.) Whatever it is, don’t give it energy. By the end of the week, this will be resolved.

Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
This week, a Full Moon on Wednesday will create tension in your life as you juggle the demands of home and family versus the demands of your career, and your public reputation. However, you can’t ignore home and family. This means you’re caught in a bind. Problems with an old boss, a parent or something from the past that mad you unhappy are at stake. If you can’t change anything, you might as well let it go. If you keep holding on to a grudge or feedings of being treated poorly – where does it get you? It only drains your energy. By the end of the week, you will see this and be able to let it go and move on. Look to the future!

Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
The big thing happening for you this week is the Full Moon that occurs midweek on Wednesday. It will set up tension between yourself and others, especially siblings, relatives and neighbours and people you deal with on a daily basis. You might find that past resentments about beliefs, religious matters, or your stance on masks or other daily situations will resurface. This might be about past hurts related to publishing matters or something to do with higher education or travel. Whatever it is, it rubs you the wrong way, and you’re unhappy. Note: This can be resolved by the end of the week. You will feel better. (“I used to be indecisive, but now I’m not so sure.”)

Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)
This week, the Full Moon energy will culminate by Thursday. It will affect your finances and concerns about your earnings as well as debt, inheritances, and your involvement with the wealth and resources of someone else. You might feel old resentments about inheritances or how something was divided or that you didn’t get your fair share. (We’ve all been there.) Actually, this is an opportunity for you to work this out. You might put your cards on the table and speak up; or perhaps, you will accept what happened and move on because that’s your best option. In the final analysis, you want to be happy. Do what makes you happy.

Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)
This week the only Full Moon that is opposite your sign all year will be taking place. This will trigger tension between you and others, especially those who are closest to you. It will create an energy that builds up before the Full Moon peaks on Wednesday night. Be aware of this and be patient with yourself and others because why get your belly in a rash? Especially if you are upset about an old resentment or a past hurt? You can be gracious because Venus is in your sign. And by the end of the week, very likely, these concerns will be resolved or they will diminish. Keep this in mind and don’t say or do something you will later regret.

Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
This week you might find that you feel some resentment about something related to your job, or your health, or possibly, even a pet. Whatever it is – it gets your goat. Although the first few days of this week might be a challenge for you because you have to decide whether or not to speak up, or be gracious and let things slide. The latter might be your best option because by Thursday, you will feel differently. The Full Moon will have peaked on Wednesday night, and this will release a lot of negative feelings that you had. Wait and see what happens. By the weekend, you will probably be much happier and more content.

Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)
Friendships are important to you. This is why you might feel challenged this week because the Full Moon will impact friendships, as well as your relations with romantic partners and even your kids. There will be tension that begins on Monday and continues to build until Wednesday night, when the Full Moon peaks. However, afterwards, everything will fall into place. You will see things differently. You will have a better understanding of the situation and feel less resentful. Perhaps even forgiving? Therefore, don’t jump the gun at the beginning of the week if you’re unhappy with others. Wait and see how things play out by the end of the week, because your situation might be resolved. (Relationships are sometimes like algebra: You look at your X and wonder Y.)

Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)
You might encounter difficulties with parents, bosses and VIPs, as well as family members this week because of the Full Moon that peaks Wednesday night. Beforehand, you might nurse some resentments, especially about a family member. But hey, all families have problems. Naturally, these problems set up resentments. You have to decide how long you want to carry this negative feeling. What’s the cost? Think about what you actually want. By the end of the week, you will find it easier to forgive yourself and others and move on. Right now, Jupiter is in your sign, and Jupiter makes you emotionally generous. This is a good thing. Be big.

Weekly horoscopes beginning Sunday, 04 December 2022

If you’re born within a cusp period (16 to 26 of any month); you’re advised to read horoscopes of both signs covered by that period. You’re on the border; you may have influences from houses within those signs.

Outlines are longer versions; consist of every possible detail of everyday and are based on three parts of each sign: 1st, 2nd & 3rd Decan; that is, any of three divisions of 10° within a sign of the zodiac. Even if you know or don’t know your Decan; I recommend, please read all three Decan.

Aries
Personal theme: I am!!
Fire & cardinal sign: March 21 — April 19

Your horoscope for this week:

You don’t think of yourself as being fixed in your thinking or habits. However, with your ruler, Mars, the Sun and both Mercury and Venus accenting new ideas, places and encounters, you’re broadening your horizons. While, mostly, events are exciting, a few are unsettling if not worrying. Actually, those aren’t just more important, they could lead to experiences and encounters as unexpected as they are, potentially, life-changing.

An old friend or colleague you were once romantically linked with will show up at a Christmas party. You might agree to get together again to discuss old times. If so, ask yourself what this could do to a current relationship. If it seems like, after all these years, someone still fancies you and you could never reciprocate their feelings, would it not be better to leave well alone? A business deal with someone who has international connections could bring more money your way.

Your ruling planet, Mars might still be retrograde, but it’s unlikely that you are. In fact, if anything, you could be revved into action in the lead into Thursday’s Full Moon. That event coincides with the Sun’s opposition to your ruling planet, and yes, it may be that you have to face confrontation. The art is as always, having your facts correct. Take care that you don’t shoot from the hip before you truly understand why someone is taken up a position. In understanding the history, you could also understand motivation and find compromise. With a likely confrontation behind you, you could yet close the week on an upward curve.

Taurus
Personal theme: I have!!
Earth & fixed sign: April 20 — May 20

Your horoscope for this week:

You know what and who has enriched your life. At the moment, however, it may be more important to consider what and, possibly, who no longer brings the benefits or joys they once did. In some cases, this means saying farewell. This, at last, corners you into focusing on certain intriguing ideas or, possibly, far-reaching changes you’ve been very deliberately ignoring. Their time may have come.

You’re wondering whether you have the skills and knowledge to carry out a special assignment. People are relying on you. Initial panic will subside once you realise that common sense along with a methodical approach is all that’s needed to get this job done. Since you’re naturally blessed with both, success is almost guaranteed. Legal matters will go well and if you’re attending an interview or audition, don’t be afraid to blow your own trumpet.

The days leading into Thursday’s Full Moon may be full of tension. Fact is that others want a great deal from you. With the Moon passing through your sign between Sunday and Wednesday, the need to affirm details and show that practicalities have been addressed could put you at odds with someone who’s determined to simply get on with things and hang the expense. That is not your style. Aware that purse-strings need to be held tight, you could end up in confrontation with someone who has most definitely overspent. For now, focusing on investing in your career and very probably a second revenue stream, should yield near immediate reward.

Gemini
Personal theme: I think!!
Air sign: May 21 — June 20

Your horoscope for this week:

Recently you’ve faced several tricky situations, some uncomplicated, others more pressing, if not just plain urgent. While you thought they were dealt with, sudden changes in circumstances and, just as much, in your thinking about the future are prompting a review. Unappealing as the idea seems, tackle it enthusiastically. The resulting insights and, ultimately, thrilling plans will more than justify the aggravation and delays involved.

Resist an urge to drop everything to please a new partner who seems to be expecting a lot from you. Test this relationship by telling them no. If they accept you have other things to do and think about, this is a good sign they respect the need for give and take. Slow down a little when it comes to everyday concerns and routines. One way or another, jobs will get done. Don’t be reluctant to delegate.

Mars continues its retrograde journey through your sign and you may feel you’re endlessly going back over old ground and problems. Thursday’s Full Moon is in sign and coincides with the Sun’s opposition to Mars and represents a turning point. Expect to be challenged and have answers at the ready. Note too that your ruling planet Mercury is moving into retrograde pattern at the end of this month. It’s probable that others will soon rethink their position. What seems particularly important is that your recollection of recent events is backed up by a sound paper trail. You may need assistance from someone who’s not only good at determining the truth, but also presenting it.

Cancer
Personal theme: I feel!!
Water & cardinal sign: June 21 — July 22

Your horoscope for this week:

Obviously, you’re longing for clarity regarding exciting developments. However, with so much in transition, do only what you can; and, even more, regard arrangements as a trial run. This gives you and others time to benefit from experience yet, also, to explore. This is timely, because you’ve a range of amazing ideas and encounters coming your way between now and the new year.

You will want to get your views heard in a work-related situation. This is an issue you feel strongly about in which case there may be a need to be more assertive and forceful than normal. An early Christmas celebration will be enjoyed all the more when friends from a distance visit you, or vice-versa. Are you single? The ideal partner for you will be someone who is fun-loving, caring and kind. You could find your soul-mate this December.

Thursday brings a Full Moon and yes, you could feel the effects early and be in hypervigilant condition. This event coincides with the Sun’s opposition to Mars and many people will be in agitated condition. Wars of words are probable and yes, you might wish to pull that shell down over you but need to curb the excesses of Aries, Leo and Sagittarius colleagues. Their determination to be extravagant could be too much for you to cope with. What might help would be to fast-forward career plans for next summer and make contact with those who could help; and yes, this probably means making contact with an educational establishment. At a slightly different level, and for a few Cancers (obviously much depends on your personal chart), there could be contact with the world of publishing.

Leo
Personal theme: I will!!
Fire & fixed sign: July 23 — August 22

Your horoscope for this week:

You’re in a period that’s about rethinking both existing plans and future arrangements, and doing it more than once. While, initially, this may be irritating, you’ll soon realise you’ve a range of unexpected and, mostly, thrilling options to consider. The secret? For now, focus on exploration and, when possible, sidestep commitments; and the timing for those plans? Think in terms of early February’s Leo Full Moon.

A partner or housemate isn’t saying a lot when you put suggestions to them. This doesn’t mean they aren’t considering them. Give them some time and you will get a response. Get a new colleague talking. They may not be as confident as they look and you will discover there is a lot you can do to help them. Leave future social arrangements loose. If invitations are starting to come in, tell other people you will get back to them closer to the time.

As you know, yours is one of the Fire signs and yes, you can shoot from the hip and don’t think through consequences. Take care at the start of this week (before the effects of Thursday’s Full Moon come into play) that you give thought to strategy. Fact is that this Full Moon coincides with the opposition of the Sun and Mars. Wars of words are more likely than not – with potentially painful consequences. It might require someone to referee as careerwise you could self-sabotage. On the other hand, if you were to quietly go about your business and focus on research and development ideas to present next week, you could yet realise gains.

Virgo
Personal theme: I analyse!!
Earth sign: August 23 — September 22

Your horoscope for this week:

As a practical Virgo, you thrive on making plans, perfecting them, then moving on to whatever is next. However, the foundation on which plans are based will be shifting, often frequently and until early in the new year. Actually, this gives you a chance to explore, to try out new ideas and spend time with those you meet. Take advantage of it. You’ll be glad you did.

You had intended to put your own needs first but sometimes you have to go with changing priorities. This week a friend is looking for some support. They have never held back from being there for you when you needed a helping hand and this is your chance to repay them for their kindness. Career aims could receive a boost when someone pulls out of a group project and you are offered the chance to take their place.

The opposition of the Sun to Mars coincides with Thursday’s Full Moon which accents the backbone of your solar chart bringing to the fore career and family issues. This may be a turning point. You don’t have to overreact – and it would be advisable obviously if you didn’t. Yet it may be that you’re both burning the candle at both ends and have taken a less than structured approach to developing an idea which yes, likely does have commercial possibilities, but will require partnering someone to handle elements that you find difficult. Discord is probable. Yet this is also the week when you could show considerable expertise and attract a working or business partner (probably from overseas).

Libra
Personal theme: I balance!!
Air & cardinal sign: September 23 — October 22

Your horoscope for this week:

Only recently it seemed that, at long last, certain persistent issues had been dealt with. However, with the foundation on which they’re based shifting, even simple arrangements will need to be rethought, possibly more than once. Take advantage of the resulting discussions to raise certain concerns, some involving others, a few personal. Happily, the current slow pace makes dealing with all such matters less complicated.

Get started on that backlog of e-mails and text messages to reply to. Keep bills up to date. Being able to complete tasks that should have been finished some time ago will give you a huge sense of relief. Creative challenges coming your way will keep you motivated and inspired. One way or another you will find a way to turn activities and developments this festive season into something magical and special.

Anticipate that your scales will be decidedly unbalanced by the Full Moon on Thursday. This lunation coincides with the Sun’s opposition to Mars – which is travelling retrograde through another of the Air signs. There is high probability of wires being crossed and of you finding it difficult to keep on top of administration. Those involved with writing or publishing, could find that they are swamped. Nothing however is all bad: Saturn, moving through the research and development area of your solar chart has been helping you lay solid foundations. This week it would be wise to give thought to presentation and style. Yes, this could lead to difficulties with a designer or web developer but these hurdles can be overcome, and giving attention now would be wise.

Scorpio & Ophiuchus
Personal theme: I desire!!
Water & fixed signs: October 23 — November 21

Your horoscope for this week:

Obviously, you’d rather decide about several crucial matters swiftly. However, you’re not only short of facts, between now and Thursday’s Full Moon, the mood’s likely to be unsettled. Instead, take advantage of this period to discuss both long overdue changes and certain intriguing but puzzling new ideas. What you learn and, possibly, who you meet could change things entirely, often in ways you hadn’t imagined possible.

No matter what your aims may be, persevere until you are happy with results. Ignore anyone who complains that you are taking too long over something. Their impatience is what has caused them to fail so many times and you should not be influenced by them. Mistakes and problems at work will be due to someone overestimating or under-estimating their abilities. You know what you are capable of. The one person you can rely on is yourself.

You surely won’t be the only sign involved in a complex war of words at this week’s Full Moon but could be the one asking searching questions and demanding answers. It’s probable that since Mars arrived in Gemini at the end of August, that many mistakes have been made. It may be that you’ve felt mis-led, mis-guided or badly taught. As you well know, accurate information is key. Those of your sign are adept at finding truth and motivation. This will surely prompt you to act as inquisitor – demanding to see archived material and a paper trail. It could take until at least the end of January to mop up errors. That said, you will surely come to notice of those who know now that you are no push over and that they need to up their game. Expect to be challenged by a Gemini or Leo, but be confident that you will yet win the argument.

Sagittarius
Personal theme: I see!!
Fire sign: November 22 — December 21

Your horoscope for this week:

If you feel a sense of urgency both to make pressing decisions regarding certain here and now matters but, also, to deal with future plans, it’s no surprise. On the 20th your ruler Jupiter shifts from accenting those plans to focusing on life’s joys. This could mean finally saying farewell to demanding arrangements but also, the beginning of a cycle that’s about rethinking what, and who, you put first.

A neighbourhood dispute could result in legal action if a settlement cannot be agreed on outside the courtroom. You may be asked to mediate. Take your time over a task that requires precise workmanship. You will be happy with the eventual results achieved. Are you single? A potential partner is making romance something of a game. This could prove so confusing and frustrating that even though you had hoped you’d be going out together by now, you’re ready to walk away.

Thursday’s full Moon is in your opposite sign and coincides with the Sun’s opposition to Mars (also in Gemini but in retrograde motion). Anticipate that others will be in crisis mode. Fact is that they likely need to alter direction. This could be so uncomfortable for so many people. Hiatus around truth – something that Sagittarius values so highly, – and the uncovering of a web of deceit would no doubt leave you outraged and require you to show great generosity of spirit before a working partnership can move forward. With Jupiter now crossing the final degrees of Pisces (and the base of your solar chart) you could yet find that compassion, so that as of the winter solstice, you are able to focus on a research and development idea that’s been incubating since May.

Capricorn
Personal theme: I use!!
Earth & cardinal sign: December 22 — January 19

Your horoscope for this week:

The last thing you’re in the mood to do is say farewell to passions or plans, some longstanding. However, you’ve known the foundation on which these are based is changing, so it’s no surprise. Even more, you’re intrigued by ideas and encounters, all of which would broaden your horizon via study, travel or spending time with intriguing but unfamiliar people. For now, focus on exploration.

You want to feel as if you have your life more organised now. You’re tired of the loose-ends lying around. This also goes for your relationships. A recent argument remains unresolved. One way to heal the rift is by talking over what happened and how to put this behind you. Friends and workmates will have a wide variety of activities in mind with which to fill your days. There’s a lot going on and very little chance of you ever feeling bored.

By the end of this week, both Mercury and Venus will have moved on into your sign. Your voice will be heard. First, we have to get past the outrage that is likely to surface at the full Moon on Thursday. This event coincides with the Sun’s opposition to Mars in one of the Air signs. You may find that what was presented to you just a few weeks ago, is now proved inaccurate or only partial. Exasperating as this may be, those who alert you to discrepancies should so, so go up in your estimation. It’s likely that by Friday you’ll determine exactly who you can trust and whom you consider to be family with in your working environment. In a few short weeks, this partnership could turn into a union that gives birth to an interesting side-line that would bring another revenue stream in 2023.

Aquarius
Personal theme: I know!!
Air & fixed sign: January 20 — February 18

Your horoscope for this week:

You’ve probably noticed how unsettled many of those around you are. Some are exploring new ways of living or working. While you’ve felt equally unsure, you haven’t reached the point of seeking anything new. Consequently, the unexpected ideas or offers currently coming your way could be as surprising as they are puzzling. The trick? Explore for the sheer joy of discovery, nothing more. At least, for now.

In this busy time, socially, you can expect to receive numerous invitations to festive gatherings and parties. You couldn’t possibly accept them all. A friend might feel as if you are snubbing them by turning down an offer, they make you; be careful when wording your explanation. It might seem like a good idea to change a financial or legal arrangement after you’ve considered all aspects of the situation. A partner will let you know they fully support you in this decision.

Obviously full moons affect all signs. What’s special about Thursday’s is that it coincides with the Sun’s opposition to Mars (presently retrograde through the expertise area of your solar chart). Expect to be questioned and for others to be hot under the collar about decisions you’ve taken since September. Going back over old ground seems more likely than not. Yet this could still work to your advantage: yes, you might need to agree that you acted too hastily earlier, but also show that you’ve taken steps to put matters right and that all that’s needed is a little extra time to untangle and unravel a system. Putting in place a fresh one will require extra thought, but could be done well ahead of your birthday. Careerwise though things could seem dark at times, it may be that you now about to move into a faster – and more productive – lane.

Pisces
Personal theme: I believe!!
Water sign: February 19 — March 20

Your horoscope for this week:

Recent conversations haven’t just updated you on others’ activities, you’ve also become increasingly aware how many of those you know are restless. Some are rethinking their way of living or working, others seeking new goals. You are, too, but you haven’t yet acknowledged how far-reaching your own feelings are. For now, continue to explore. You’ve lots left to discover, much of it as exciting as it will be surprising.

In professional matters you will be showing a stronger degree of calm and emotional poise. This will enable you to work harmoniously with someone you have recently argued with. In a team situation everyone will be doing their best to cooperate. If you have been feeling a little lonely, charity events and festive gatherings over the weeks ahead will give you a chance to widen your social sphere.

Thursday’s full Moon coincides with an opposition between the Sun and Mars. The latter is still retrograde and moving across the base of your solar chart. The combined effect could be uncomfortable. At the very least you’ll likely be aware of just how stressed other people are. Yes, this would be normal for this time of year – but this appears exaggeratedly so. Alteration in your domestic environment seems more likely than not and your nervous system put under stress; and yet: positive aspects suggest that like a sponge, you could soak up information. This would be a superb time requiring a new skill. In fact, if you can close the door on others who seem to endlessly demand so much of your time and energy, you could yet improve a natural talent. This week then you could make significant investment in your career.
