Llewellyn’s Spell A Day

Clean Slate

Rosh Hashanah represents fresh starts, as it is the Jewish New Year. We can tap into the energies of fresh starts and the lunar phase of the new moon to give our magickal workings an extra boost. For this spell we will focus on letting go of our previous misdeeds in order to make a clean start.

You will need a small dish with sand in it. Use a chopstick or pencil to write in the sand the transgression that you want to eliminate. Once you have done so, see in your mind how you can correct it. Then smooth over the sand, erasing what was written there, while saying:

What once was is no more.

Now you can start fresh, with a clean slate.
Stop the Gossip Spell

For this spell to help stop gossip or rumors, you’ll need one overripe apple and one sage leaf. Follow the instructions in the following verse. If possible, perform this spell on a windy autumn day.

On an autumn day when
the woods are dying
And the wild geese are flying,
Take an apple soft with age,
Rub it well with a silvery leaf of sage.
Carry it to a place where the
grasses once stood tall,
But now are covered with
the russet leaves of fall.
Announce the lie on the autumn
wind with all your fury,
Then press the apple into the
earth, there let it be buried.
Turn your back and walk
away with a clear mind,
The lie shall fade and pass
away with time.

The spell is done. One final tip: since sage has purification qualities, bury it with the apple. As they decay together, the gossip will fade.
Let Go of a Relationship

If a relationship is over but it doesn’t quite feel over, conditions are ideal today for clearing residual relationship energy so you can call your power back to you and begin anew. This can be done with any relationship (not just a romantic one).

First, go through your home and round up any pictures of this person, any notes or gifts from them, and anything this person once owned or co-owned with you. Then let these items go in a responsible way. Throw out, donate, sell, or recycle them accordingly. If you can’t get them out of your possession right away, that’s okay, but definitely pack them up and get them ready to move out.

Now safely light a stick of rose incense and a stick of palo santo wood. While holding a dish or plate beneath them to catch burning embers, move counterclockwise around each room and area in your home as you cleanse the space with smoke. Finish by cleansing yourself with the smoke as well. Then extinguish the incense.
Finding Your Balance

The fall equinox is an ideal time to find balance, and this spell uses tarot or oracle cards to focus these equilibrating energies. If using the tarot, place the Temperance card in the center of your altar. For oracle decks, choose a card representing balance.

Shuffle the deck and ask to be shown the forces seeking equilibrium within you, then draw two cards. Place them on either side of the Temperance/balance card. Spend some time contemplating your initial impressions of the cards, then use the following incantation to go deeper:

Left and right, above and below,
Forces of balance, I seek to know,
What it is I’m meant to change
And how my soul yearns to grow.
Show me this, I ask of thee,
That I may find sweet harmony.

Spend time in meditation, opening to additional messages, and return to the cards throughout the day to see how your impressions evolve.
Everyday Peace Shrine

Today is the International Day of Peace. A shrine for peace can externalize our intentions for inner peace and remind us that we can choose it over reactionary emotions.

To make a shrine for peace, collect items throughout your home that help you feel peaceful, such as angelite, amethyst, chamomile, and lavender. Place a peaceful-smelling essential oil there, such as lavender or frankincense. Include small scraps of paper, a pen, and a jar.

When your shrine is complete, open the oil and take a deep breath. On a scrap of paper, write:

Today, I choose peace.

Place the paper in the jar and take another deep breath. Envision how you will choose peace.

Throughout the day, recall the peace you felt at the shrine. If you feel overwhelmed, imagine standing before it, and take a few deep breaths. Over time, the combined intention and action can reprogram our brains to be more peaceful.

It’s harvest time, and our thoughts turn toward bounty. Celebrate your own abundance with this simple ritual.

You’ll need:

  • Milk, fruit juice, wine, or beer
  • A pitcher or measuring cup
  • A 9-by-12-inch piece of construction paper (or a piece from a brown paper bag)
  • Cellophane tape
  • Salt (any type)
  • A cinnamon stick
  • Seeds or nuts
  • Dried fruit
  • Bread or grains

Pour the liquid of your choice into the pitcher or cup. Roll the paper into a cone, tape securely, and fill with the other items, cornucopia-style.

Carry the pitcher and cornucopia to the heart of your garden space. Lift the cornucopia to the sky, saying:

I honor this bounty: gifts of
earth, air, fire, and water; gifts of
soil and sun; gifts of energizing
light and restorative night.

Set the cornucopia on the ground. Take a sip of the liquid, then pour the rest on the ground, saying:

In communion with you, deities
of the harvest, I give thanks
for this season’s bounty, which
will nourish and restore me.
Harvesting Joy

It is the season of the harvest. We are between the harvest festivals of Lammas and Mabon, surrounded by the bounty of the fruitful earth. But as Witches, we know there are many kinds of abundance and many ways to reap the seeds we planted earlier in the year. Don’t forget to take the time to celebrate all the things in your life that have brought you joy—the people, the animals, the successes, and even the failures that taught you something important. Celebrate the enduring presence of the gods and all the gifts of spirit. If you can, light a bonfire and dance around it. If that’s not possible, just put on some drum music or any other music that inspires joy in you, and dance in celebration of the joy you have harvested so far this year. Embrace your harvest of joy, and plant the seeds for more to come.

The Whole Is Greater

Women’s circles perfectly illustrate the idea that the whole is greater than the sum of its parts.

Women’s circles are formal or informal gatherings in the interest of bonding, sharing energy, and creating ritual. The origins of women’s circles are ancient, but their applications are as modern as the women who participate in them. There are no hard and fast rules as to how to form a women’s circle or how to run one. Some circles invent their own agendas, rituals, goals, and ceremonies, while others borrow ideas from sources as far-ranging as Buddhist or indigenous cultures. Some circles are open to new members at all times, while others prefer to practice with a set number of members, closing the circle once that number is reached.

In a typical gathering, the women who are present sit in a circle. Generally, for the sake of cohesiveness, one woman is chosen to lead the circle each time. Allowing a different woman to lead each meeting allows for a multi-perspective approach to the process. One circle leader may choose to create and teach a ritual that involves using the voice to release negative energy, while at the next meeting, another leader may feel inspired to lead a silent meditation. On the other hand, a circle may choose to be more focused over the long term and gather around a particular intention, such as working together to determine a course for healing Mother Earth. When the healing feels complete, the women may choose to stay together with a new focus for their work or the circle may disband.

At their best, women’s circles perfectly illustrate the idea that the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. The work that can be accomplished within the loving embrace of our sisters is far more powerful than what we could achieve on our own. If you are not already part of a circle, you may want to start one. Follow your intuition as to the women with whom you’d like to work, reach out to them, and set a date to begin. After that, you can simply allow the circle to create itself.

Heartwings Love Notes 1054 Where are my cookies

Heartwings says, “Sharing is caring and easy to do.”

My first husband and I had five lively children, and to pass the time while I cared for them, as well as to make them happy, I baked cookies several times a week. The trick, however was to make sure everyone got his or her fair share. To do that in a good way, I counted up the cookies and divided by five, saving a few over for the grownups. On the list of amounts per child, each one was to check off the ones taken. Most of the time this kept the peace.

I used to do the same with any expensive fruit, like peaches and plums. Everyone abided by this setup. No one wanted to feel the collective wrath of the rest of the family if they didn’t. Fairness was an important principle that I wanted to be sure my children learned. I made it a priority for everyone to get their fair share.
In addition, to help make each child feel cherished and special I used to take each in rotation for a trip to the destination of their choice. But not just that, I made a rule that when we were out, my time would be devoted exclusively to the child-I would do no errands or other personal activity. They remember these fondly.
I tended to discourage competition within the family, and rarely if ever compared any one of them to another. This was not how I was raised. My mother was a very competitive person and my father was somewhat this way also. Perhaps this was due to the prevailing attitudes of their generation. Regardless, I did not think it helped siblings to become friends when they were always being presented as being into competition.

I am happy to say my grown children are all good friends. They share one another’s lives in positive ways that my sister and I were not encouraged to do. For example, I remember discovering something really nice she did for my mother that neither told me about at the time, and I found out quite by accident.
If there were more sharing in today’s world, there would be a better use of resources. I recall once suggesting to a neighbor that we invest together and share in a power mower; she looked at me as though I had two heads. Sharing is caring, both for the planet and for friends and neighbors.

There are many ways to share that cost us little to nothing in cash or time. On the internet, there are informational blogs on many subjects that one can read and add to. Parkinson’s individuals, for instance can be of help to one another this way. Volunteering in a variety of ways can be another way to share. Some organizations, like the Rotary Clubs, are very giving. Regardless how you spend your time, remember, if you do bake cookies, your neighbors might like some too.

Enjoy sharing the best way you can, and there are many to choose from.

Blessings and Best regards, Tasha Halpert

What to Do When You Have a Ghost!

Silhouette at Top of Stairwell
So, you just realized you are sharing space with a ghost; now what? A startling amount of folks will tell you to build an altar and give them offerings, or call a priest and have the home exorcised, but I would not recommend either of these options. I’ve been a paranormal investigator for fifteen years, and a psychic medium for much longer than that. Along the way, I’ve gotten to know quite a few ghosts, and helped many of them find peace by crossing over to the other side or by cohabitating comfortably with their living roommates. If you find yourself sharing space regularly with a ghost, here is my advice for what to do about it.

Understanding Is Key
You can’t really interact with or help a ghost if you don’t know what they are or how they function, so learning about them can be extremely helpful. The first thing to realize is that ghosts are just people without bodies. They don’t become something super scary and different on the other side; they are just like us, and so I always recommend interacting with them the same way you would with people. If you had a houseguest or roommate, you wouldn’t build an altar to them, or buy them a bunch of presents because well… that would be weird. It would also create a power imbalance between the two of you rather quickly. You also wouldn’t ask a priest to chase them out of your home because well… Rude! Ghosts, like any regular embodied person, are not harmed or banished by prayer or holy water. Some will even take great offense to you trying.

The second thing you need to understand is that not all ghosts are happy where they are. Many are lost or confused, and some don’t even know they are dead. This can prevent them from moving on to the next place. I’ve noticed there is a big misunderstanding among many witches I speak to who think that any attempt at investigation is some form of harassment. However, many ghosts have been waiting decades for someone to notice them so they can get help. So, if your ghost is particularly active or seems to be trying to get your attention, it may be asking for assistance.

For further education on life as a ghost, I recommend picking up books like When Ghosts Speak by Mary Ann Winkowski, and my new book, The Witch’s Guide to the Paranormal, for more detailed information.

Set Boundaries
While ghosts have free will just like the living, they respond well to boundaries being set for them. Before you bust out the Ouija board, call the ghostbusters, or hire an occult professional, simply try talking to the ghost. When you feel their presence, simply say hello, introduce yourself, and set any boundaries that will help you feel more comfortable. Some boundaries you may want to enforce include, “Don’t startle or interact with my children, they don’t like it,” or, “If you want my attention, please stir the windchimes, but don’t poke me,” or, “Please stay out of my bedroom.” Normally, they’ll follow the rules you set for them.

Similarly, while you are setting boundaries, I would refrain from giving specific permissions about anything. For instance, I wouldn’t say, “You’re welcome to stay here, just don’t go in my room.” The reasons for this are: First, they’re already staying in the home, so they don’t necessarily need your permission to do so. Second, your perception might be off, and it may be something more sinister than the ghost of a sweet old lady and giving it permission to stay in the home will make getting rid of it that much harder.

But How Do I Know if They Need Something?
Many ghosts are simply living their afterlife peacefully alongside the living. Sometimes, they don’t even pick up on the living people in the home, and may perceive the house as being empty, or they may have a faint sense of the living the same way the living may only occasionally sense a ghostly presence. Others may be able to fully see and hear the living, but still choose to keep to themselves while cohabitating in a space. If this is the case, you may experience very light activity such as a whiff of perfume every now and then, or small infrequent noises. If this is the case, they may need nothing from you.

Other times, however, a ghost may create activity in order to try and get your attention. So, if you are experiencing some ghostly shenanigans such as knocking, objects falling off of shelves, or occasional pokes or prods, it may be an indication that the ghost is attempting to get your attention. If that happens, they may be asking for help, and you may need to reach out to local professionals for assistance. In some cases, you may get them to move on peacefully by placing fresh lilacs around the home and visualizing a beautiful white light opening to take them to the next place. Other times, they may need more complex care before they’re ready to move on.

But What If They Are Aggressive?
If the activity seems to be more than just a cry for attention, or if their behavior suggests they are trying to harm you, it may be for a few reasons. First, they may be trying to claim territory. Many spirits will feel possessive of an area because they either feel like they own it or because it contains a secret they don’t want discovered. These ghosts may or may not know they are dead as well, so please have compassion for them; you’d act aggressively, too, if a new family just moved into your home while you were still living there. Second, they may have objections to who you are as a person. Yup, ghosts are just dead humans, and that means they can be racist, homophobic, against pre-marital sex etc. and may forcefully object to you or your life choices if they don’t approve. Furthermore, they may have trauma; for instance, you may look like the person who murdered them, and therefore they may target you. Third, they may simply be awful people. Murderers, abusers, predators, and the like all have to die at some point, and can continue to be aggressive harmful people in death.

In this situation I would highly recommend calling upon local professionals, and/or getting a copy of my book The Witch’s Guide to the Paranormal, which goes in depth on these issues in a way that can’t be covered in an article like this. You may be able to get them to move on using the technique described above, but if they are unwilling to go, you may have to resort to something a little more drastic. Using things like salt to repel them, as well as expellant smoke from cleansing herbs can help. Neither one of these will automatically boot them out, but prolonged use will make the space uninhabitable and force them to leave. Once you feel they have gone, be sure to put protections in place so they don’t return.

At the end of the day, just remember that ghosts were people, too. Even in death, they have their own hopes, dreams, fears, desires, beliefs, and secrets. So, when it comes to a ghostly roommate or office helper, always remember not to frame them as something unknowable and otherworldly, because after all, the specter stealing the pens from your cubicle is probably not an eldritch creature from the void, but is instead more likely to be Chad, the copy guy who died in a bike accident a year ago. Knowing this, our everyday conflict resolution and communication customs are likely to do the trick.

What Causes Coincidences?

I’m interested in coincidences, especially those related to health, such as feeling a pain and then discovering that at the same time, a close friend was injured in that part of the body. Is there any scientific explanation for why this occurs?

Coincidence is a fascinating topic, and one that has fostered an emerging field of scientific research. Bernard D. Beitman, M.D., is a leader in the field; he has published several academic papers on the topic and is the author of the 2016 book Connecting with Coincidence: The New Science for Using Synchronicity and Serendipity in Your Life. In 2020 Dr. Beitman founded The Coincidence Project, and he currently publishes both a podcast and a Psychology Today blog named Connecting with Coincidence. Dr. Beitman is a visiting professor at the University of Virginia and former chair of the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Missouri-Columbia.

Dr. Beitman is particularly interested in the kind of coincidence you describe – feeling the distress of a loved one at a distance, which he calls “simulpathity.” He has had this experience himself. He describes inexplicably choking at the same time – he learned later – his dying father was choking 2,000 miles away.

He credits events we regard as coincidences as perceptions that emerge from “swirls of information in our minds juxtaposed with swirls of events in our surroundings…The match is often surprising because it seems improbable.” But he proposes that coincidence is more than “the unlikely juxtaposition of similar events.” He contends that “the…events must also be meaningfully connected, and the meaning is personal and intricately linked to the person involved.”

In his book, Dr. Beitman relates story after story of amazing coincidences – the brother who inexplicably drove to the place his sister sat with a gun in her hand about to commit suicide. The brother had no idea why he got into his car; he didn’t know where he was driving, nor why he was going there or what he was supposed to do when he arrived. Simulpathity coupled with an uncanny knowledge of where to go helped to save his sister from taking her own life.

Dr. Beitman acknowledges that the mathematically inclined would say coincidences like this are examples of random chance at work, a view reflecting a fixed belief in the laws of probability. But he maintains that there are too many similar coincidences to chalk up to random chance. “These coincidences suggest we live in a matrix of unbounded links to one another, especially those we love, especially those with whom intense emotion has forged a bond beyond our current understanding,” he writes.

Dr. Beitman’s research has revealed that at least a third of the general population frequently notices weird coincidences. “Twins, family members, friends, therapists and patients are much more connected and entangled with one another than we have previously recognized,” he writes. “Some people will claim that these stories are romantic fabrications driven by a wish for ethereal energies, but the sheer volume of similar, heartfelt, amazing experiences argues otherwise.”

His theory of coincidence focuses on simulpathity and a kind of “human GPS.” “Simulpathity tells us we can connect with the experience of others at a distance without knowing how we do it,” Dr. Beitman writes, while human GPS tells us that “we can find our way to people, things and ideas without knowing how.”

If you’re curious about coincidences you have personally experienced, this book, along with Dr. Beitman’s other writings and podcast episodes can help you better appreciate them and their potential to enrich our lives. There are also many other recent academic articles that examine the concepts of coincidence and causality that you may find interesting.

Living Life With Trust

We experience life fully when we are willing to trust and fall, and in doing so, we may just find that we have the wings to fly.

As we create the life of our dreams, we often reach a crossroads where the choices involve the risk of facing the unknown versus the safety and comfort of all that we have come to trust. We may feel like a tightrope walker, carefully teetering along the narrow path to our goals, sometimes feeling that we are doing so without a net. Knowing we have some backup may help us work up the courage to take those first steps, until we are secure in knowing that we have the skills to work without one. When we live our lives from a place of balance and trust in the universe, though we may not see our source of support, we can know that it is there.

If we refuse to act only if we can see the safety net, we may be allowing the net to become a trap, as it creates a barrier between us and the freedom to pursue our goals. Change is inherent in life. Remove fear from the equation and then we can devote our full attention to the dream that awaits us.

We attract support into our lives when we are willing to make those first tentative steps, trusting that the universe will provide exactly what we need. In that process, we can decide that whatever comes from our actions is only for our highest and best growth. It may come in the form of a soft landing, an unexpected rescue, or an eye-opening experience gleaned only from the process of falling. So rather than allowing our lives to be dictated by fear of the unknown or trying to avoid falling, we can appreciate that sometimes we experience life fully when we are willing to trust and fall. And in doing so, we may just find that we have the wings to fly.

When we believe that there is a reason for everything, we are acting with the safety net of the universe, and we know we will make the best of whatever comes our way.

Coach Gilberto Chapter 30

by Stephen Halpert

“Knowing we’ve a murderer pacing the halls of Houndstooth gives me the creeps ” Gilberto said to Diana Rain as she drove him home. “It must be someone we don’t know as well as we might think.”

Rain nodded. “That alone doesn’t make me feel all that comfortable. But at least we’ve got our secret weapon.”

“What’s that?” Gilberto said. He looked over and saw the slight smile at the corner of her mouth.

“Sherlock Cy! Every day he’s scouring the Houndstooth faculty looking for clues.”

“Including rummaging through people’s private lives, I’ll bet.” Gilberto said.

She shook her head. “Don’t think of it that way. Just because he’s a ghost doesn’t mean he isn’t good at poking around,” she said. “He’s already told me about Karen Muskie’s lurid sketches of Bob and Gertrude Sharp.”

“That doesn’t make her a murderer.”

“And Alvin has a ribald collection of highly erotic French porn. Seems he likes ladies in twos and threes in risqué settings.”

Gilberto smiled. “He seems the type,”

“You never can tell,” Rain said as she pulled up at his condo. “Say hi to Maria. Tell her we’ll go shopping for shoes sometime soon and oh yes let her know her binge sex suggestion to Emily Pride, the client at Rose’s clinic has worked wonders.”

“Binge sex,” he seemed confused. I’m not sure what that means?”

“Oh ask Maria,” Rain said. “I’m sure she’ll fill you in.”

He frowned, still looking confused as he thanked Rain for the ride and went inside. His immediate concern was about what Maria had said was going on with Joey.

They were both were in the kitchen fixing an apple pie.

“Gilberto looked at Maria. She did not have her usual cheerful expression. You looked stressed,” he said. He noticed that Joey looked chipper so whatever his issue was must have subsided.

Maria hugged Gilberto and sighed. She seemed uncomfortable. “

“What’s wrong?”

She shook her head. “I just feel for mom. She and dad and going into a retirement home. She’s done enough cooking for two lifetimes. With her heart murmur she really needs to slow down and rest.

“What about her crochet stuff?”

“Oh, the retirement home wants her to continue her classes there. It’s dad.”

Gilberto nodded. “So, what’s the problem?”

“It’s dad,” she repeated. “He and his special collections. There’s no place at that retirement home for an authentic shrunken head, masks and weird trance stuff–all those relics he brought home after he served in the war.”

Joey looked up, grinning. “Can I have the shrunken head, mom? Can you ask grampa for me?”

“It’s too icky,” Maria said. “I remember it growing up. He acquired all that during the war in the South Pacific.

Gilberto nodded. “You don’t need a shrunken head, Joey. Something like that belongs in a museum.”

“Oh, it’s not just that,” Maria said. “It’s the primitive masks. They’re really rare and authentic and frankly if he has them up on the wall in their room at the retirement home, people will freak out and shun them.

Oh, please mom. Grampa told me about them. Please can I have them too?” Joey begged.”

Maria frowned. “All men are eternally boys,” she said.
He turned to Gilberto. “Please?” he pleaded.

“And the wand with weird carvings the witch doctor gave him? I’d love that, it’s very special.”

Gilberto smiled. He turned to Joey. “Call your grandfather; tell him we gave you permission, and ask him if he’ll share some of his wartime treasures with you.”

Joey beamed. “Can I call now?”

Maria sighed. “Oh, go ahead,” she said. “At least his giving them to you will make it easier for mom.”

Joey almost panted with excitement. “I’ll go call him right now.”

“One thing,” Maria insisted. “That collection stays in your room and you are never to take any of it to school.”

“Ok,” Joey said. “In my room, never to leave.” He ran to call his grandfather.

“So what’s his issue you mentioned on the phone? “Gilberto asked.

Maria sighed. “Kyle doesn’t want to be his friend because he’s ostensibly straight while Kyle is trans or gay or whatever he is. He told Joey that the energy was wrong and being with him made him feel uncomfortable. Joey took it terribly personally.”

Gilberto nodded. “All right, good to know. And next, what’s this binge sex Rain mentioned to me.”

“Save it for later,” Maria said. “I’ll fill you in never fear.”
Joey raced back into the kitchen. He beamed. “Grandpa said he’ll send us the shrunken head, some special statues and magical masks. He said to tell you he’s including the wand that that witch doctor in the Philippines gave him during the war. He said to tell you it’s intended to clear negative energy.”

Gilberto nodded and wondered if it might prove useful for apprehending a murderer.

“All in your room,” Maria insisted. “You keep all of that in your room. I grew up seeing it and I’d just as soon not relive…”

“Oh, I will mom, I promise. He’s shipping it up this week. I can’t wait.”

“And you will not,” Maria’s repeated, “under any circumstances take any of Grampa’s collection to school. You can show your friends all you want, but only in your room.”

“Well, maybe an exhibit in the library,” Gilberto suggested. “Maybe he’d even come do a lecture while your mom’s doing a crochet class. Something like that would be good for Houndstooth, especially with all the interest today in native magic.”

Maria frowned, then she giggled. “I doubt Lara Parker would be thrilled to see a shrunken head,” she said.

“It’s so real too,” Joey said, “I remember when he showed it to me seeing all the wrinkles around the eyes, and the lips where it’s sewn up as if they could speak if…”

Maria shuddered “Stop!”

“Enough,” Gilberto said. “I have enough on my mind without having to deal with your grandfather’s stuff.”

When Do Cats Stop Growing? Here’s When Cats Reach Their Full Size
By Denise LeBeau

Kittens — so tiny and cute! But when do kittens stop growing? When do cats stop growing? Find out when your adorable little fluff ball will reach full size.

Some cats are as light as 5 pounds, while others tip the scale at closer to 20! Cats come in almost as many sizes and shapes as they do colors. From the svelte Sphynx and Siamese to the seemingly supersized Maine Coon and Ragdoll — all little kittens, with proper nutrition, will grow into their big personalities soon enough. But have you ever wondered — when do cats stop growing? Let’s find out!

When do cats stop growing?
Many new cat parents ask the burning question: “When do cats stop growing?” Kittens grow rapidly until 6 months old. Between 6 months to 12 months is when kittens stop growing in size.

This doesn’t necessarily mean that cats over a year old will stop growing altogether. A cat who is mostly sedentary and on a poor diet, or has access to too much food throughout the day, can continue to pack on fat. While an obese cat may look cute all roly-poly, obesity is in fact a very unhealthy condition for any felin

How big will my cat get?
Another question associated with, “When do cats stop growing?” is, “How big will my cat get?” The average domestic feline is about 10 pounds, give or take a few pounds. The males of the largest cat breed, the Maine Coon, weighing in at around 20 pounds. Cats are not like dogs in many aspects, and there isn’t a correlation between your cat’s paw size and his height and weight. Bigger paws don’t really mean a bigger cat. How big your cat will get is determined by genetics. There are 19 pairs of chromosomes that control everything from hair length, coat color and, yes, size!

While your kitten’s parents are the best indicator of how big your cat will get, gender can also be a factor. Males are usually bigger than females, and the duration of their growth spurts can last longer.

Full-sized and miniature-sized outliers
Of course, there are exceptions to everything, including exceptions to the answers to “When do cats stop growing?” According to the Maine Coon Fancy, this breed of cat takes up to five years to reach full size. And their full size is noteworthy: a Maine Coon cat named Stewie held the Guinness Book of World Record’s record for the longest cat at 48.5 inches stretched out. Sadly, Stewie passed away in 2013, but his mark on the world remains.

On the other side of the spectrum, cats with dwarfism can be abnormally small. Dwarf cats are the Lilliputians of the feline world (there are two different causes: genetic mutation and pituitary gland malfunction). A Munchkin cat named Lilieput holds the Guinness Book of World Record’s record for the shortest cat. Kittens with dwarfism will develop more slowly than healthy cats.

When do kittens stop growing?
Another common question with, “When do cats stop growing?” is, “When do kittens stop growing?” Kittens come into this world with one goal: to grow! And quickly! Newborn kittens require round-the-clock feeding, and their spikes in weight gain reflect all that nutritious sustenance.

Kittens typically grow eight times their size in just about eight weeks:

Under 1 week old: kitten weighs less than 4 ounces.
7 to 10 days old: kitten weighs 4 to 6 ounces.
10 to 14 days old: kitten weighs 6 to 8 ounces.
14 to 21 days old: kitten weighs 8 to 12 ounces.
4 to 5 weeks old: kitten weighs 12 ounces to 1 pound.
6 to 7 weeks old: kitten weighs 1 pound to 1 pound and 8 ounces.
8 weeks old: kitten weighs 1 and a half to 2 pounds.
12 weeks old: kitten weighs 3 pounds to 5 and a half pounds.
16 weeks old: kitten weighs approximately 5 and a half pounds to 7 and a half pounds.
6 months to 1-year-old: approximately 8 pounds to 15 pounds.

The bottom line on, “When do cats stop growing?”

While kittens will stop growing at about 1 year old, it’s important to remember that most kittens will look like an adult at 6 months old. For folks considering adoption, maybe a kitten isn’t the best fit for their home (see some benefits of adopting an older cat here). That adorable little fluff ball will only boast a juvenile appearance for a very short time. He’ll look like an adult cat before he hits his first birthday.

Of course, feeding your cat a healthy diet, always providing a freshwater source, and enriching his environment with plenty of exercise, places to climb and hidey holes to explore will ensure he not only grows big and strong but is the happiest and healthiest he could be!

Georgia Nicols Weekly Horoscope:
September 25, 2022

All Signs
This week is powerful and productive! It will be powerful because everyone wants to network and socialize. People will establish new connections and make new friends. They will create working units and mutually-beneficial partnerships. This week is also productive because everyone is happy to work, and work hard. Oh yes, a sizzling energy! This means now is the time to reach out to others. Be friendly! And also, be open to accepting invitations and offers that come your way. Hey, if you’re worried no one will reach out to you… try gluing a coffee cup to the roof of your car.

Aries (March 21-April 19)
The energy this week is amazing for your sign, and you can use it to your advantage. For starters, there is a lovely, feel-good dynamic happening between you and partners and close friends. At the beginning of the week, you will roll up your sleeves and dig in to get hands-on in your job. Many of you will see ways to make improvements or introduce reforms to the job or how you do your job. Meanwhile, you will be patient and willing to work with others if things are difficult or challenging. In fact, you will feel rewarded by work that requires intellectual or physical perseverance and attention to detail. Whatever you do – you will do carefully. You’ll be the wise carpenter: “Measure twice; cut once.”

Taurus (April 20-May 20)
At the beginning of this week, relations with coworkers are super positive! Meanwhile, this is a productive time for you because you are motivated to work hard. Your energy will be slow, steady and persevering because you will keep plugging until the job is done. (You’re motivated to boost your earnings!) Meanwhile, those of you involved with sports, working with children, the entertainment world, the hospitality industry or any creative project will be heartened by seeing new approaches and new ways of doing things. Many of you will become obsessed with an idea. Some of you will meet someone who has a strong influence on your approach to your work. Or vice versa – you will influence someone else?

Gemini (May 21-June 20)
This is a playful time for you! Accept all invitations to party, enjoy sports events and fun times with children. If possible – take a vacation! Many of you are also keen to redecorate and beautify your digs. At the beginning of the week, social occasions – luncheons, dinners and fun with friends — will be rewarding. (Check out your local Happy Hour.) Meanwhile, you will also see ways to make improvements at home, perhaps to bathrooms, plumbing and anything connected to garbage and recycling. Be aware that you will be super productive this week because Mars in your sign is dancing with Saturn, which makes you motivated, persevering and dogged in your efforts to get things done. Bravo!

Cancer (June 21-July 22)
This week begins on a lovely, feel-good note. It’s a great time to entertain at home. Group activities will be upbeat. Family gatherings will be joyful. Meanwhile, this week, you will be persuasive and convincing when it comes to making others go along with your future plans or suggestions to make improvements in how you do something. Admittedly, you might be obsessed with an idea. It could relate to a business deal or a negotiation with someone. Remind yourself to listen as well as to speak. Something is going on behind the scenes and you might be part of this hidden activity – or not.

Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)
This is a busy, fast-paced week! It begins on an upbeat, optimistic note, which means you’re happy! However, there is a tendency for you to promise more than you can deliver. You might overestimate something. Be aware of this. You have a strong focus on cash flow and finances this week, which is why you might see ways to repurpose something you own. You want to be as resourceful as possible in order to save money. Fortunately, you will also attract money to you! Meanwhile, efforts with groups and friends will bring results. Your involvement with someone else will be focused, relentless and productive. Caution against being obsessed about something. Remember to listen to others.

Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
You are focused on money this week. Where’s it coming from? Where’s it going? In financial discussions with others or making your own money decisions, be careful of the beginning of the week because you might overestimate something. Or possibly, you might think that something is better than it is. Remind yourself to be conservative to stay on the safe side. Meanwhile, your ambition is aroused this week, possibly about a particular project. You have specific ideas and you want to get things done! This is why you will be convincing when talking to others. In fact, they might view you as being obsessed about something (which could be the truth). Side note: If there’s any money left, this is a good week to buy wardrobe items for yourself.

Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
As this week begins, you feel cheerful and optimistic. This is why you might indulge yourself buying beautiful things for yourself or your home. (Who loves beauty more than you?) Meanwhile, you’re excited about making travel plans or travelling somewhere. In fact, this excitement will translate into a dedicated effort on your part to do something to expand your world so you feel more alive! “I want excitement and stimulation!” Fortunately, any research on your part will bring results because you’ll be like a dog with a bone. This week, your ability to ferret out information that you need is uncanny. You will leave no stone unturned. “Gotcha!”

Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)
It’s curious because this week, in one way, you’re happy keeping a low profile. This might be due to a dedicated effort on your part to deal with taxes, debt and shared property as well as estates, wills and inheritances. (All that fun stuff.) You will be dogged in your attempts to finish this work. Nevertheless, despite your desire to escape from the busyness of the world around you, you have this urge to get out and talk to people, especially younger people. You want to share passionate ideas with friends or groups about something you believe in. Some of you will draw a line in the sand and say, “This is important!” Meanwhile, relations with friends and groups are warm and affectionate. (So affectionate, a friend might become a lover.)

Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)
Because you feel upbeat and eager to socialize, this is a popular week for you. You will appreciate the company of children. You will enjoy sports events, social outings and interactions with clubs and groups. Think twice before you volunteer for something because you might bite off more than you can chew. Meanwhile, relations with partners and close friends might be challenging. You might be at odds over something, but each of you is entrenched in your point of view. Discussions with bosses, parents and authority figures will be intense. This is because you have strong opinions about something and you want others to know who you feel.

Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
Lucky you! You look wonderful to others right now even if you don’t do anything special. In fact, at the beginning of the week, you look successful and affluent. Be careful this great press doesn’t seduce you into agreeing to something that you might later regret. In part, this could be because you have very strong opinions about politics, religion or racial issues this week. You won’t be dissuaded from your views. Meanwhile, you will accomplish a lot this week because you will work extremely hard to achieve something that matters. No matter how overwhelmed you feel, you will doggedly pursue your goals until you’re satisfied. (Gasp.)

Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)
You are in a happy, upbeat state of mind as this week begins, especially if you can travel or do something that is different and exciting. In your attempt to get some thrills and chills, you might go overboard. (“I had to do it.”) Because you are involved in political, religious or racial issues or some kind of philosophical debate – be careful you don’t stretch yourself too thin. (You will be tempted to do this.) Those of you involved in sports or the arts will work hard to perfect your technique. Others might work just as hard to pull off a fabulous social event. Meanwhile, you have very strong views about how to share or divide something, or how to share expenses, or possibly, an inheritance. On this, you will be clear.

Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)
You might be feeling flush at the beginning of the week, which is why you’re tempted to go overboard spending money. Or perhaps in your involvement with sharing or dividing something, you’re tempted to give away the farm? Think twice so that you have no regrets later. This is not the time to be Daddy Warbucks. Possibly, a close friend or partner is very convincing, and this makes you feel you have to respond in a certain way. Don’t listen to others. Listen to yourself. Do what makes you feel comfortable – and no more. Meanwhile, you are working hard – unbelievably hard – to restore order to your home and possibly a family situation. Keep at it because energy in one direction always brings results.

If you’re born within a cusp period (16 to 26 of any month); you’re advised to read horoscopes of both signs covered by that period. You’re on the border; you may have influences from houses within those signs.

Outlines are longer versions; consist of every possible detail of everyday and are based on three parts of each sign: 1st, 2nd & 3rd Decan; that is, any of three divisions of 10° within a sign of the zodiac. Even if you know or don’t know your Decan; I recommend, please read all three Decan.

Personal theme: I am!!
Fire & cardinal sign: March 21 — April 19

Your horoscope for this week:

Being a quick-thinking Aries, you’re often impatient with those who debate plans or decisions endlessly; but now that’s exactly what you’re doing; and you’re enjoying it. You’re not only learning a lot, while some insights involve ongoing concerns, as many get you thinking about tricky issues involving close relationships at home or out in the world. The solution? In-depth discussions, especially about those issues you’ve been avoiding.

You won’t believe how everything starts to go your way. An award or offer will be like a dream come true. Remember though that this is not a dream. This is your reality. It might feel easy, effortless and too wonderful to be true but it is true. Be sure to ground yourself to remain practical. This will also help you to continue to make sensible decisions. Very soon you will get the go-ahead to start a project that’s been in the pipeline for some time.

It’s also very much in the fine detail. You may need to go back over conversations held between 20th and 26th of August. Redefining responsibilities is probable. Don’t underestimate your ability to apply due diligence. You could yet turn things in your favour. Financial matters could be absorbing in the last day of September but perhaps essential. Recall that Jupiter is presently passing through your sign, and that it not to be too difficult for others to coerce you into making a major purchase. Ask yourself several times whether or not you really need this. What you absolutely don’t need is to increase burden of debt. You could view this as an exercise in the art of saying ‘no’ with charm.

Personal theme: I have!!
Earth & fixed sign: April 20 — May 20

Your horoscope for this week:

Despite your efforts to turn ideas into lasting plans, you’ve achieved frustratingly little. Between now and early October, however, you’ll make up for lost time. True, this means moving swiftly, often when short of facts. Yet, with the actual foundation on which plans are based shifting, frequently and often dramatically, both arrangements and your thinking should be flexible. What’s good now will soon get even better.

Money isn’t something you want to think about at the moment. Apart from the usual everyday bills to pay and perhaps a few unexpected ones too, there are far too many other things on your mind and for once, cash concerns seem to be the least of your priorities. Even though it won’t interest you and you aren’t in the mood for it, you may have to at least agree to consider an idea someone in the family puts to you in order to keep them happy.

Mercury has now returned to the play zone of your solar chart and speculative activities and investments should have your attention. You may want to think back to decisions taken in August and whether or not these were priced or carried out correctly. What should be clear by Thursday is that you’re doing a job you love and where your creativity is on show. Though teething difficulties are probable and cost could be high for the next few days, there is every likelihood that even as early as Venus’ arrival in Libra on Thursday, that a good team will be in place – one that understands your agenda and is willing to work to your schedule.

Personal theme: I think!!
Air sign: May 21 — June 20

Your horoscope for this week:

With fiery Mars in Gemini, and for a long stay, you’re experiencing thrilling changes. You’re inquisitive, so enjoy exploring your options. For now, do exactly that. Be aware, however, that by the year’s end, events will demand you commit to certain plans, projects or objectives and, equally, leave others behind. The secret? Enjoy, and learn from, each day’s experiences, then go on to whatever’s next.

A look before you leap approach is advised when it comes to both minor and major changes. Whether these are connected with your home or your career, it doesn’t matter. What matters is that you are cautious about who you believe and what you decide to do. An older relative will, in a quiet and confidential way, advise that the time for making big moves has not yet arrived. Heed their words of wisdom. They know what they are talking about.

Your ruling planet, Mercury, is still retrograde but has now returned to another of the Mutable signs. It’s likely that you are now firefighting – and at many levels. Both at home and work, there are likely too many unfinished projects demanding attention. The good news is that on Thursday, Venus moves into another of the Air signs, Libra. You could then form a formidable partnership with someone who is determined to get outstanding tasks out of the way quickly. Though this will likely require a major burst of energy and working over the weekend, you could view this as an essential step before embracing an entirely new work schedule.

Personal theme: I feel!!
Water & cardinal sign: June 21 — July 22

Your horoscope for this week:

It’s clear that, sooner or later, you’ll be making major changes in elements of your life. However, at the moment, you’re happy to keep things as they are. While this is wise, review what you’re ready to say farewell to and, equally, think through your next plans or objectives. Once those are clear, you can stand back, and observe events unfolding at their own pace.

Sitting around waiting for things to happen will hardly get things moving. If you feel as if your life is in a rut, do something positive to change it. Even if you don’t normally see yourself as being a leader, take the initiative and you could be surprised to see how swift others are to fall in with your plans. You will be approached to give some sensitive advice when someone knows how much they can trust you.

Home matters. Cancerians don’t work well in an environment that is too cluttered or too chaotic. Streamlining is now essential. Yes, it’s true that Cancerians can be hoarders and getting past memories – either literal or physical isn’t always easy. Yet by Thursday it should be apparent that you need to be better organised. With the likely influx of new energy, you also need to take into account the needs of someone who’s flair for the dramatic is considerable. Finding quiet time so that you can continue with a work task will surely prove a challenge. Yet amidst all this, one working partnership could truly make your day. It should be obvious as early as Thursday that this will be a meaningful union. It may be that you eventually look back and see that you formed and a team.

Personal theme: I will!!
Fire & fixed sign: July 23 — August 22

Your horoscope for this week:

Being a Leo and an enthusiastic fire sign, you focus on creating a life that combines your need for excitement with time for what and who you love. Yet with certain arrangements shifting, dramatically, and mostly for the better, you’re anxious about what’s next. You’re urged to wait and watch. True, this won’t be easy. Still, once you know more, you’ll exchange those anxieties for sheer joy.

There’s an increasing sense of optimism as everything seems to be going our way. You anticipate happier times ahead and you aren’t likely to be disappointed. New doors are opening up for you now. You instinctively feel that something you have to decide on will be one of the best decisions you’ve ever made. Your positive and upbeat attitude will keep you on the right path and you are heading towards great success.

Of course, you need things to work but might need to accept that with Mercury retrograde, pulling a team together will be challenging. The real difficulty is that everyone has their own way of doing things. Expect to be bombarded with ideas and presentations and to spend the middle of the week sifting through these. You need someone to rely on. Note that yours is one of the Fixed signs of the zodiac and that you generally show great resilience and determination. You’d be a wise Leo however if you accepted that there are times when taking directions from others is helpful. As of October 1st, a Cancer or Libra could guide you and ensure you don’t make an expensive error.

Personal theme: I analyse!!
Earth sign: August 23 — September 22

Your horoscope for this week:

True, your ruler Mercury’s retrograde cycle has a reputation for causing mix-ups. However, it remains in reverse motion until 2 October, and by then, you’ll have learnt a lot. Importantly, you’ll have rethought certain arrangements and decided to say farewell to others. For now, focus on those changes. That ensures you’ll be ready to deal with the exciting options that come your way in early October.

All sorts of issues are combining to make it difficult to make progress with a work or study assignment. Some of your ideas regarding changes you would like to see implemented may not be received as well as you were expecting. Are your plans a little too progressive for some people who are stuck in their ways? By gently dropping a hint or two about the improvements these are likely to bring, you could eventually grab their interest.

Now that Mercury has returned and joined Venus in your sign, anticipate that others will lean on you. They need your critical eye and your multitasking abilities. What they likely don’t need, is for you to question their every move. Curbing that trait might not be easy. Yes, you are likely right that to avert a costly mistake, action needs to be taken early. It may be that certain individuals need to learn on the job. A further – and very strong possibility, is that you will be asked to take on increased responsibility as of Thursday. With a fixed goal now in sight, your gift for ensuring that others pull together as a team should surface: hopefully bringing something to celebrate at the end of the month.

Personal theme: I balance!!
Air & cardinal sign: September 23 — October 22

Your horoscope for this week:

After weeks being short of facts, and facing the resulting confusion, suddenly things are coming together, often in unexpected ways. Between the Sun moving into Libra on the 23rd, and the Libra New Moon on the 25th, your thoughts are clearer. While this gives your courage a welcome boost, invest time in reflecting on your goals. It’s likely you’ll discover many have changed, some dramatically.

The days will fly by all too quickly while you are sharing a hobby or interest with like-minded friends. Someone from your past will send you a message out of the blue. If they are associated with bad memories and you don’t think it is wise to meet up again, follow your instincts. Ignoring their communications should let them know that you don’t want to know. A plum assignment will be offered and although you wonder if you are capable of this job, it would offer a great opportunity for self-expression.

Prior to Venus’ arrival in your sign on Thursday, retrograde Mercury moves to join Venus in Virgo in one of the more fragile areas of your solar chart. On the positive side, your imagination should run wild making this an excellent time for anything to do with marketing or advertising. Negatively however, you could worry excessively over details over which you have little control. The art, from Thursday will surely be to smooth over cracks and accept that there are some people who enjoy finding difficulties rather than celebrating successes. In focusing on the latter, you may have reason to experience joy and success over the weekend.

Scorpio & Ophiuchus
Personal theme: I desire!!
Water & fixed signs: October 23 — November 21

Your horoscope for this week:

Nobody would blame you for being annoyed at the range of pivotal decisions that are no longer in your hands. While, usually, you’d be irritated, instead you’re relieved certain tricky matters are others’ responsibility. Better yet, you’ve time to focus on other persistent dilemmas you’re eager to resolve. Get going now and within weeks, there’ll be settled, and you’ll have said a firm farewell.

Take a firm stand with an older friend or relative who is trying to persuade you out of doing something that is important to you. They may not understand your reasons or they may resent this decision because it will affect their life in some way too. Any resentful or negative words should not be allowed to misguide you. Striking out in a new direction will bring more satisfaction into your life. Take that leap of faith. Make that move that’s important to you while you have the courage to do so.

You don’t have to be told that attention to detail is important. What you might need to know is that there will be a solar eclipse in your sign at the end of October. All eyes will surely soon then be on you. Making sure that you have everything in its place, and that you know precisely where you stand would be advantageous for that later time. As planets change signs, they bring significant vibrational change. Working partnerships that develop after Thursday and are set to become extremely important. To make best use of these requires that you know exactly where information is stored. Taking time in the early part of this week to improve your efficiency would surely be wise.

Personal theme: I see!!
Fire sign: November 22 — December 21

Your horoscope for this week:

Your flexible nature isn’t just an asset, you can either tackle tasks on your own, or share them with others. However, between now and the new year, often it will seem destiny has taken over. While, initially, this will be irritating, you’ll soon be thankful others are dealing with those dull practicalities, mostly because this frees you to explore the amazing ideas and encounters coming your way.

Even if it is not in a highly noticeable way there are a number of areas of your life looking up. Background influences are working in your favour and some recent attempts to bring improvements into your life will meet with the results you are hoping for. Relationships are happier and more harmonious. If you are single, there will be a chance of starting a loving relationship. If you already have a partner, expect some good news concerning your joint future.

The combined forces of both Mercury and retrograde Uranus suggests that moving forward will at best be slow. Yet attention to detail is essential and should be achieved before Venus changes signs on Thursday. Sagittarius has a justified reputation for being overly enthusiastic and yes, at times careless. In showing that you can work diligently, paying attention to the small things, you should advance your career considerably. Take care that you don’t take on too much. It may be more important than usual to focus on schedules and keeping to tight deadlines. If one dream for success is to be realised before the end of October, you might also need to pay attention to health matters and improve personal fitness: something that might require contact with a health-care professional.

Personal theme: I use!!
Earth & cardinal sign: December 22 — January 19

Your horoscope for this week:

Ordinarily, those who make, then change, plans frequently irritate you. However, you’re about to become that person. A combination of thrilling ideas and options, plus your own restless need to improve on existing arrangements will keep you busy. Actually, this is timely. Not only will you keep exploring your options, with yet more events triggering shakeups in October, you’re in a cycle that’s all about reflection and discovery.

Whether it is a house move or changes in your job situation, you will be surprised by how swiftly things move along. Normally you prefer not to be rushed but instead of feeling disturbed by the speed of progress, you will be taking it all in your stride. This is something you have been planning for and waiting for and now the time has arrived, you don’t intend to miss this wonderful opportunity for change.

With both Mercury and Uranus retrograde in the other two Earth signs, it could feel as though you’re mopping up after others. Firefighting on the domestic front and yes, perhaps either arranging for repairs or in some way altering workspace might also leave you feeling overstretched. Yet by the time Venus makes Libra ingress on Thursday, you may be seen as key member, if not captain, of a team. What should be apparent is that not only do you have solid experience, but that you’re not limited and are willing to learn more. To this end it may be that you consider ways in which you could improve qualifications further. Interestingly, inspiration and enthusiasm may come from someone who is just beginning to learn a subject with which you are familiar.

Personal theme: I know!!
Air & fixed sign: January 20 — February 18

Your horoscope for this week:

One of the ironies of your inventive and often inquisitive nature is your stubborn streak. While this ensures you stick with your vision of what’s possible, you can sometimes ignore changes or new ideas, mostly because they’re disruptive. However, the planetary setup suggests these aren’t just about changes, events will force you to rethink both existing arrangements and future plans. Do so. You’ll be glad you did.

You have plenty of good intentions and you want to help as many people as you possibly can but avoid making promises you can’t keep. If you take on more than you can handle, this will have a negative effect on your health and eventually on your relationships. Approach work and financial responsibilities in a careful and watchful way. If you’re considering new ways of investing your money, traditional channels such as a bank or building society account will be the safest.

You may know that you have a reputation for being quirky. One moment you can seem hard and demanding but at others, a pushover and willing to do anything to ensure the smooth running of an operation. Those mixed messages leave colleagues at something of a disadvantage: they don’t know which Aquarian will turn up on any day. There’s high probability that the latter will be on show in the first half of this week, but that after Venus makes Libra ingress on Thursday, that you’ll be back in determined mode. It may be that you need to show that you really do mean business and are determined that a deadline will be met. With high probability of you shifting career soon after next month’s solar eclipse, it may be important to finish a project in style.

Personal theme: I believe!!
Water sign: February 19 — March 20

Your horoscope for this week:

The only real problem you could face during this period of dynamic and often unexpected growth is being distracted by others’ complaints, if not sob stories. The fact is, they’re lazy and are hoping you’ll set aside your plans and rescue them, as you have in the past. This time, say a firm ‘no’, then focus on the remarkable ideas, offers and encounters coming your way.

Arrangements being made will have far-reaching consequences. This may not be apparent at first so keep this in mind when discussing new possibilities. What you say, do and agree to will play an important part in paving the path to your future. A neighbour who is disappointed with a new romance that didn’t work out as they had been expecting will be looking for a shoulder to cry on. You may have to be patient as you listen to their story as you have heard it all before.

Until Thursday, with both Mercury and Venus moving through your opposite sign, anticipate being at the centre of a charm offensive. It’s probable that others need you to implement their plans. Just how much work you happy to take on? Consider this carefully, it’s all too easy for Pisces to become a victim or play ‘doormat’. Somehow you need to find a thermostat control to adjust levels so that you don’t take on too much. Recall that Jupiter will return to your sign before the end of the year. Whilst what’s promised may be financially beneficial, you don’t want to crush your spirit or physical system. To this end, it might be worth discussing options with a mentor (not necessarily someone older) so that you don’t overcommit. A strong possibility is that it will be a Scorpio who offers guidance.
