#Omens&Symbols . . . The rise of Sachamama

    The Rise Of Sachamama

In Peruvian mythology, the Sachamama is the embodiment of the rain forest mother in the form of a giant snake. In Quechua, Sachamama means “Spirit Mother of the Jungle.”

The vegetation of the forest grows on top of her enormous body as she rises up from the Earth, shedding her skin. She carries the key to the New Earth, as baby Phoenixes hatch from their eggs and Hummingbirds sip from the Rainbow Nectar that make up her scales.
