Weekly Horoscope from Celestial Prognostications

Weekly Horoscopes beginning Sunday, 12 December 2021

If you’re born within a cusp period (16 to 26 of any month); you’re advised to read horoscopes of both signs covered by that period. You’re on the border; you may have influences from houses within those signs.

Outlines are longer versions; consist of every possible detail of everyday and are based on three parts of each sign: 1st, 2nd & 3rd Decan; that is, any of three divisions of 10° within a sign of the zodiac. Even if you know or don’t know your Decan; I recommend, please read all three Decan.

Aries
Personal theme: I am!!
Fire & cardinal sign: March 21 — April 19

Your horoscope for this week:

As a quick-thinking fire sign, you’re uniquely able to juggle a range of tasks and responsibilities. Now, however, these demand the kind of patience that doesn’t come naturally to you. Still, focus on doing things once, thoroughly, and in detail. Not only will you be able to move on to whatever’s next without concerns, you’ll realise how much you’ve learnt in the process.

There is something important you need to do. You don’t have time to wait around for the support you are hoping for. Other people have other things to do so just get on with it. Stick to your own plans and decisions. You can’t judge your own mood depending on where a partner, housemate or close friend is. Just because they’re upset or angry about something you should not let this make you feel anxious too. It might even help them if you stay calm.

Get ready to be stretched. You’ll likely have to think internationally. You might also be encouraged to speak in other languages; but yes, there is also the possibility of being drawn into a legal wrangle. All this follows on from Mars’ move into another of the Fire signs, Sagittarius on Monday. It doesn’t leave until next month. It would be as well to be super cautious as to what you agree. There is very real danger of overpromising. That said, you may be correct in thinking that with one clever move, you could move up the career ladder. A partnership opportunity may be on the horizon and sooner than might have been expected. Anticipate Taurus, Virgo and Capricorn colleagues to play crucial role. They may be reliant on your enthusiasm and energy, whilst you might need their practical skills and experience.

Taurus
Personal theme: I have!!
Earth & fixed sign: April 20 — May 20

Your horoscope for this week:

Recent events or, possibly, the uncompromising attitude of an individual or one particular organisation have meant going along with plans you disagree with or making unacceptable compromises. The secret? Teamwork. In fact, what you learn from working out a solution with others won’t just be worthwhile those insights will serve you in countless ways now, and even more, over the years to come.

A workmate will achieve something amazing. This will inspire you to want to make similar accomplishments yourself. If this means taking a course to develop skills, so be it. Success will come through hard work and steady effort. A practical friend will be incredibly supportive in helping you do something you want to do. All going well, will help make a difference to your community. A fund-raising project is being planned. Expect to play a big part in the proceedings.

As planets move through the signs, they bring different types of energy. On Monday, Mars, the Energizer, moves into Sagittarius, one of the Fire signs. You should find that Aries, Leo and Sagittarius colleagues especially, – and to a slightly lesser extent a Virgo, start pushing you to complete tasks before the end of the week. True, this might be considered normal at this time of year. It does though appear a little different in that now it seems they really do want to partner and, specifically, develop an equal partnership. You should find this a positive experience. Expect to be listened to. With that in mind, it would be wise to take time to consider what your real aims and objectives are. They’ve likely changed much in the last couple of years. Taurus generally has no difficulty in standing firm. Where you can lose momentum is in not stating at the outset the goal you want to achieve and within what time frame. Give that thought and sell the idea by Friday if you can.

Gemini
Personal theme: I think!!
Air sign: May 21 — June 20

Your horoscope for this week:

Often, you’ve struggled with others’ narrow-minded attitude. Now, it’s the reverse. Ideas are exciting and, mostly, unexpected, and they’re coming from a surprising range of individuals and even organisations. However, they’re so far out you’re unsure what to think. The solution? Give them a try, making it clear you regard these efforts as an experiment. The results won’t just be amazing, you’ll also learn a lot.

There is pressure on a group to meet a deadline and yet there is not enough help or resources for them to achieve this. If you are in a leadership role, your priority will be to get in extra support for your staff. You’re focused on other people’s needs, but what about you? It may not be so noticeable early on, but stress and tension could lower your resistance to illness unless you find ways to relax more.

Mars arrives in your opposite sign on Monday, when it joins the Sun. This should act as a super-energizer. It also occurs just a few days before the Full Moon in your sign. Expect all eyes to be on you. Others want to know your plans, where you’re headed, and specifically, what you’ve learnt in the last 18 months. It’s during that time that the Moon’s Node has been passing through your sign. This is part of a near 19-year cycle and is usually a highly eventful period. Now you may have much better idea of where you’re going and why. You need though, to sell a plan – preferably ahead of the Full Moon which this time coincides with Venus arriving at its station. The last time this event occurred in this area of the zodiac was in 2013. So yes, this could be a super key week. Whatever you do, be clear as to your motivation. You will be tested several times over in the next few weeks with others considering whether or not you really are the right person for a job. They need to feel secure and to know that you know your talents and assets and how best to use them.

Cancer
Personal theme: I feel!!
Water & cardinal sign: June 21 — July 22

Your horoscope for this week:

Ordinarily you’d never base important plans on shaky ground. However, changes are as exciting as they are unsettling; and you rightly assume they’ll continue. Actually, the news is good. What seems promising now will get better over the coming weeks. Knowing that, explore various options and discuss plans with those involved; and, as important, ensure everybody’s ready to discuss, and make, even sudden changes.

A heavier workload is expected in the weeks leading up to Christmas. This in turn could affect your health. Having to take on more responsibilities with little choice about it will drain your energy very quickly. Thursday is a good day to reflect on what you want from life in the long-term. Are you single? A friend or neighbour might play matchmaker and will hook you up with someone who is perfect for you.

There is now considerable planetary activity in that area of your solar chart that is all about day-to-day efforts. Of course, you’d expect that at this time of year. A Cancerian quest is to look after others – which no doubt mean that you put in extra time trying to ensure everyone has what they need. Yet work too could be super demanding – particularly in the lead into next Sunday’s Full Moon which coincides with Venus’ retrograde station in your opposite sign. It might help to think back to 2013. The cosmos never does exact repeats, but there may be similarities. Whatever, it appears that you will be super busy, and will need to practice the fine art of delegation. Having a daily checklist might help. Expect though, for routine to be disrupted by those who are just passing through. There is an international element to the week which should also prove exciting.

———— ———– ———- ——— ——– ——- —— —– —- — — –

Leo
Personal theme: I will!!
Fire & fixed sign: July 23 — August 22

Your horoscope for this week:

Sometimes disappointments are exactly that. However, do a little investigation and you’ll soon realise current setbacks are an invitation to let go of an increasingly burdensome element of the past or break away from habits that are only holding you back. The challenge? Taking that first step. Once you do, you’ll realise where, once, there were only obstacles suddenly you’re facing promises as exciting as they are unexpected.

You might wonder how you do it and as so often happens when the ambitious side of your personality gets the better of you, you will not stop until you achieve your goals. There will be very little you willingly allow to stand in your way. A Christmas gift you intend to buy someone special will be meaningful to them without it having to cost you a huge amount. For them, it will always be the thought that counts.

Can you relate to that concept of ‘let’s do that show right here on the street’? Mars’ arrival in the play zone of your solar chart should bring that tendency to the surface. Following on from the recent Solar Eclipse (also in Sagittarius and highlighting your playful side), you should be at your creative best. Where you may be at your weakest is where it comes to practicalities, i.e., preparing the set and selling the tickets. There is then much work for you to do. It would surely help if you could form alliance with someone whose expertise in these areas is well recognised. Given the high probability of alteration in career and domestic direction before the close of 2021, the fact that there is this surge of artistic and creative energy should, by next weekend’s Full Moon, bring you the audience you seek.

Virgo
Personal theme: I analyse!!
Earth sign: August 23 — September 22

Your horoscope for this week:

While you’d be right to question others’ plans and, even more, their suggestions about the future, at least discuss their ideas. You’ll soon realise they’ve spotted options you’ve bypassed and, better yet, are inspired by your thinking, as well. The trick? Tempting as it is to get things organised swiftly, take it slowly. Each day will offer unexpected insights and exciting, if unexpected, options.

Someone you had been counting on to help you, will pull out of arrangements at the eleventh hour. Since it is important to you that you continue, you may need to go it alone. Be sure to congratulate yourself once you achieve your goals. Problems in the family will cause some tension. Something needs to be discussed and brought out into the open. This has been avoided for too long. Take the initiative if no one else will.

Others need you. Just how much should be apparent soon after Mars moves into Sagittarius and crosses the base of your solar chart on Monday. Anticipate being fired up and put into action. Your great gift is to organise, strategise and to diligently attend to details. Don’t underestimate your gifts in this department. True, by Friday you may be in highly nervous or even agitated state realising that there is still so much more that could and should be done. Take time to take stock of exactly how much you have achieved – which is likely to be considerable. Note too, that if you’re shepherding those born under Sagittarius or Pisces especially, that you have likely taken on a supreme challenge. You don’t have to be perfect: you just have to achieve something. Note too, that an Aquarius could give you all the praise and support needed as you negotiate a truly exciting end to the year.

Libra
Personal theme: I balance!!
Air & cardinal sign: September 23 — October 22

Your horoscope for this week:

Discussions about potential changes in elements of your way of living, working or even loving have gone on for so long you’re not expecting much to happen; but now, suddenly, things begin falling into place, although in a manner very different from what you’d anticipated. The secret? Proceed, ensuring everybody regards plans as something to be learnt from more than anything meant to be lasting.

A past event or controversy can be looked at from a few different angles. After talking to other people involved you might realise that misunderstandings have got in the way and it is time to put this behind you. Encourage others too, to forgive and forget. After all, the Season of Goodwill is now upon us. A fair but firm system will be created in the workplace to allow everyone to feel recognised and valued.

As of Monday, Mars moves into Sagittarius and fires up one of the key communication zones of your solar chart. Recall that there was a solar eclipse in this area just a week or so ago. This sophisticated New Moon signalled fresh beginnings. Now the impetus to agreed deadlines and schedules comes into force. Much may need to be agreed by next weekend’s Full Moon. It would be wise not to overpromise. Note too, that Venus your ruling planet will turn retrograde next weekend too. This would arguably be a perfect time for replenishing stocks, rejuvenating and generally preparing for moving forward likely in late January. True, many signs consider these moves at this time of year. This year though is special in that it appears now that you are so very aware of your expertise and qualifications and need arguably, to think of better ways of marketing these.

Scorpio & Ophiuchus
Personal theme: I desire!!
Water & fixed signs: October 23 — November 21

Your horoscope for this week:

As much as you enjoy discussing others’ ideas, and many are intriguing, taking action on them is another matter. Yet over the past week or so, destiny’s made the decision for you. Now, suddenly, you’re able to pause and review what’s happened so far; and, to your surprise, you’re eager to see what’s next. You should be. What’s good is only going to get better.

Whenever you meet up with or work alongside a certain person, they always seem to sap your mental energy. This will make you more reluctant than you care to admit maintaining your links with them. If you feel someone is taking your hard-working nature for granted it may be time to cut ties. You take everything very seriously but are you pushing yourself too hard without realising it? Stop and listen to your body. Aches and pains should not be dismissed as something you have to put up with.

For much of 2021 the war between the past and the future has been all-consuming. You may have found yourself up against those who are both rebelling and challenging. That war should come to its conclusion before the end of the year. As of Monday, Mars reaches Sagittarius and the legalities of a situation could have your full attention. You might also wish to consider where and how you get information. It may be that sources are not as honourable as you require them to be. By next weekend’s Full Moon, the challenge is to determine which administrative authorities you can trust. It may be necessary to pour over old documents and to take time doing this. Don’t underestimate your gift for research and for asking what others consider to be awkward questions. In so doing, you arm yourself. Though the next phase of the battle might not commence until late January, what you learn this week should give you excellent ammunition.

———— ———– ———- ——— ——– ——- —— —– —- — — –

Sagittarius
Personal theme: I see!!
Fire sign: November 22 — December 21

Your horoscope for this week:

While you’re by no means a control freak, recent developments have raised questions about existing arrangements and future plans you’ve regarded as unchanging. Some are the result of destiny; others began with your own fascination with intriguing options. The secret? Explore absolutely everything, knowing you’re bound to encounter amazing insights; but, equally, be aware you’ll soon have a lot more options, some unexpected, to consider.

You’re rushed off your feet. There’s little chance to do what you really want until you get some jobs out of the way. You might feel deflated after conversations with a workmate or housemate when you have to explain everything many times over. This seems to be wasting a lot of your time. Stress related illnesses could start to slow you down. Prevention would be better than cure. You can’t do everything. Is it time to delegate?

It takes Mars, the ‘energizer’ a couple of years to travel through all 12 signs of the zodiac. During the weeks in which it passes through your sign you can reasonably expect a surge of energy. What begins this Monday, could be especially so. This week, in the lead up to the Full Moon in your opposite sign should be spectacular. Energised too by the recent solar Eclipse in your sign, you could appear to be ‘off to the races’. You will however, need to take care that others don’t feel you are taking too scattered an approach. Focus is essential. That though, should come in the second half of the week as Venus, the planet of love and yes, also of money, appears to slow down. This isn’t about cautious thinking, but it is about clipping your wings and accepting realities. Moving forward cautiously isn’t Sagittarius’ style, yet on this occasion, you may feel proud and happy to be doing so. With confidence building – especially when it comes to finance, you could, before the lunar node leaves your opposite sign just next week, arrive at a new way of working that does much to reduce stress.

———— ———– ———- ——— ——– ——- —— —– —- — — –

Capricorn
Personal theme: I use!!
Earth & cardinal sign: December 22 — January 19

Your horoscope for this week:

You don’t mind making changes, even those that are far-reaching, as long as you’re in control of the timing. However, it’s becoming increasingly clear that, exciting as what’s unfolding in your life may be, the details aren’t up to you. The control-freak side of your nature may try to seize the reins. Let go. This is one time when you must leave things to destiny.

You like to be organised and this Christmas is no different to previous ones when you have planned ahead very carefully. Because of this, Christmas shopping isn’t likely to be a big drain on your resources. There’s gossip in the air. You will know a good deal more about some rumours that reach your ears than is being said but you don’t intend to say. In fact, it will be to your advantage to keep some things to yourself.

Of course, it’s normal at this time of year for the pressure to be on. Concluding the year on a high note is understandable. Yet 2021 really has been different. There are old ways of working which have to be simply that: old and completed. Saying goodbye to one method is likely imperative by next weekend’s Full Moon. The pressure could be on you to complete that task. Others will no doubt recognise your leadership qualities and sense just how much you’ve grown in this last year. Note that the lunar node is about to move from the working sector of your solar chart and into the research and development area. It begins that journey in just over a week’s time when play and happy speculation are on the horizon. The pressure though, comes back to what can reasonably be accomplished by this weekend and what has been fully edited so that your presentation is confident and well-received. Friday could be super important.

———— ———– ———- ——— ——– ——- —— —– —- — — –

Aquarius
Personal theme: I know!!
Air & fixed sign: January 20 — February 18

Your horoscope for this week:

Your challenge? It’s acknowledging that, possibly, after a long battle, certain existing plans or passions really must come to an end. However, your efforts to sustain these are distracting you from far better, and increasingly pressing, ideas, offers or possibly powerful new links with others. If in doubt, recall times in the past when you stuck with the familiar, to your regret. It’s the same now.

An annual festive event will be a very different experience to what you were expecting. This gathering won’t be a reflection of what has gone on before. It will have been organised more carefully. People will be getting together with business and event owners to make full use of this chance to light up your community. Do your best to relax and be your natural self if you are attending an important business meeting or interview.

As if you haven’t had enough to think about with both Jupiter and Saturn passing through your sign this year, – and all whilst Uranus, the ‘planet of the unexpected’ has been at right angle to Saturn. The challenges have no doubt been enormous, overwhelming and sometimes overburdening. Yet there is an end in sight. That end though, could bring a complete review of where and how you live and work. In just over a week’s time, the Lunar Node will come to the very base of your solar chart. This represents a total change of pace. This week is all about bringing matters to satisfactory conclusion. In the lead into next weekend’s super important Full Moon, critical decisions need to be taken. Yes, the timing could arguably be better as your head may be full of end of year festivities. Yet you do need to give thought to where your career is headed. Key meetings could be scheduled for the latter half of this week and afford the opportunity for you to show just how much you’ve achieved against all odds in 2021.

———— ———– ———- ——— ——– ——- —— —– —- — — –

Pisces
Personal theme: I believe!!
Water sign: February 19 — March 20

Your horoscope for this week:

As a Piscean, you’re probably aware of the two distinct sides of your nature, that is, your intuition and the part that’s practical. Now events are demanding you combine the two, possibly in a way you never have before. While challenging initially, once you’ve figured it out, you’ll be thrilled about what you’re currently doing but, even more, what this perspective on life offers for the future.

Excitement is building. You might wonder: can the drama get any better than this? You may be surprised by how things go when nothing is very predictable and yet everything seems brighter and new relationship developments bring you a new sense of hope. If you’re wondering whether you can trust a colleague, watch their body language. This will help you detect whether or not they are telling you the truth. In business, this will be a great time to make new contacts.

It’s said that it’s easy for Pisces to get lost in a sea of options. That may be true in the first half of this week. It’s perhaps imperative that you get your act together by next weekend’s Full moon. Venus then arrives at its station accenting this important cosmic punctuation mark. You won’t be the only sign to feel as though you’re up against a deadline. True, that’s normal at this time of year with holiday festivities. Yet it does seem more than that this time. It may be that you need to make important decisions as regards the way in which you live and work. Renovation projects could have your full attention. In the second half of this week, gathering support and thinking carefully about what is and what is not practical would be wise. Note that we are just a few days off Jupiter arriving in your sign. You will then likely have so, so much to do. This week then, should be viewed as a time for serious planning.
