Today is World Water Day, which is celebrated annually on March 22nd.


“Treat the Earth well. She was not given to you by your parents. She was loaned to you by your children.”


Our connection to Water is profound. Life on this planet came from water and is sustained by water.


Yet that water is at risk . . . from contamination, increased aridity on our land masses and from resource imbalances around the world. Many people do not have access to clean drinking water, and marginalized communities often face discrimination in their efforts to access a clean and sustainable water supply.


There are two special days each year, recognized by the UN, which bring the world’s attention to the importance of this vital element, and on each of these days I invite each of you to consider your relationship with Water . . . how you use it, how…
