Light A Candle Today!
In many different traditions lighting a candle is a sacred action. It expresses more than words can express. It has to do with gratefulness. From time immemorial, people have lit candles in sacred places. You may want to begin or end your day by the sacred ritual of lighting a candle on this gratefulness. Or you may want to light a birthday candle for a friend. One single guideline is all you need: Slow down and do it with full attention.

Tarot Card of the Week
by Biddie Tarot
SIX OF CUPS
This is a great week to get in touch with your inner child and experience all the fun, freedom and innocence that comes with being a kid again.
You might like to sit down with an adult coloring book, dance like no-one is watching you, play your favorite childhood games or spend more time around (happy) children. When you give yourself permission to be playful, spontaneous, and creative, you connect more with your authentic self and your intuition.
It could also be a great time to connect with people from your past who bring you joy, and revisit some happy memories.
Ask the Tarot: How can I bring more childlike energy into my life?
Llewellyn’s Spell a Day
September 29, 2019 by Melanie Marquis
If you want to attract more positive, supportive people into your life, try this spell. You’ll need a candle in your favorite color, a heat-resistant dish, a piece of your hair or a drop of your saliva, and a small pinch of rosemary or lavender. Keep your supplies at the ready, as you will need to work quickly to cast this magick. Light the candle and drip some of the wax onto the heat-resistant dish. Think of your good qualities as a friend as you add your hair or saliva to the wax. Sprinkle on the herbs, then mold the wax into a heart shape as you envision yourself as the life of the party, surrounded by a group of laughing, loving, loyal friends. Carry the heart with you to attract good company.
Gypsy Luck, by Hades or High Water
September 28, 2019 by Estha McNevin
Mother Nature continues to give us evidence of the importance of water in all its emotionally catastrophic and creative capacities. It can sometimes be from this place of spiritual no-thing-ness that our deepest desires and karma emerge. Our True Will is a divine destiny, a kind of egg that we have to crack.
Living out our deepest losses and still choosing to care and share is a matter of consciousness and nonattachment. In your darkest hour, be encouraging toward yourself and others. You can calmly and deliberately choose to blossom because of adversity with a bit of Gypsy luck on your side.
Living out our deepest losses and still choosing to care and share is a matter of consciousness and non-attachment. In your darkest hour, be encouraging toward yourself and others. You can calmly and deliberately choose to blossom because of adversity with a bit of Gypsy luck on your side.
In a saucepan, place the following:
• 1 broken egg, shell and all
• 1 leafy sprig tulsi ( holy basil)
• 3 kernels of allspice
• 1 cinnamon stick
• 1 cup of honey
• 1 bottle of horrible red wine
Warm over medium heat until the egg is completely cooked. Strain into the original wine bottle and consume a glass daily for luck, nutrition, regained vigor, and mood improvement.
Putting Away the Harvest
September 27, 2019 by Deborah Blake
We are fully into the fall season n ow, between the second and third harvest festivals (Mabon and Samhain). Those of us who grow gardens are putting them to bed for the winter. It can be bittersweet to pull up the final harvest and mark the end of the growing season, but it is also a relief to slow down and rest for a bit. This is true for people as well. The end of the growing season reminds us that all things have their time, and the cycle of growth and death means that resting is a part of life. So give yourself permission to put down your tools, whatever they are, and slow down a bit as you move into the darker days. Light a black candle, take a deep breath, and say:
The harvest is over. I allow myself
to rest and relax. Ahhhh.
Wish Upon an Apple Spell
September 26, 2019 by James Kambos
Apples are a most magical fruit. Perform this spell in September, when apples are at their peak.
Go where apples grow, and select a fruit still upon the tree.
The color of crimson red it should be.
While you hold your wish in your thoughts,
Wash it clean of all specks and spots.
Cut your magical fruit in half, and eat one half before bed.
On paper, write your wish in ink of red.
Set your wish and other apple half upon your windowsill.
Before retiring, into the apple project your will.
Upon arising the next morn, while you’re all alone,
Bury the remaining half and your wish near your home.
Your wish must be kept secret, now and forever more.
Tell no one, even after the wish is yours.
Take the Day Off
September 25, 2019 by Emyme
No matter what type of day you had—stressful or easy—before you get settled into your home for the night, take the day off. This spell works best if you have a small foyer at the main entrance to your home; however, it can be modified for any dwelling. You will need a bowl made from natural material, about the size of a cereal bowl or slightly larger, filled with water. Stand before the bowl and sweep your hands down your body, not quite touching, from head to waist, and “throw” the day’s energy into the water. Then sweep from waist to feet. Sweep down each arm, all the while putting forth the intention of cleansing the day from your body and mind. Place everything in the water. Then toss the water in the toilet, flushing away the world’s “dust.” Say:
Take the day off,
Leave it behind.
Cleanse the body,
Calm the mind.
Spinning into Wisdom
September 24, 2019 by Elizabeth Barrette
Autumn is a time of balance, when the dark and cold are slowly growing stronger as the heat and light recede. The seasons have a dynamic balance, always changing yet never out of balance. A top, like the seasons, finds its balance through spinning.
For this divination spell, you need a big sheet of paper and a spinning top. Think of a question. Meditate about its importance. Toward the center of the paper, write down all the possible steps along the way to your question’s resolution. Toward the edge, write the different possible outcomes or answers. Draw lines between the entries to define areas.
Put the paper on a table. Give the top a spin and release it in the center. Note the path that it takes: these are the most likely things you’ll actually encounter along the way. The place where the top falls over or leaves the paper indicates the probable resolution to your question.

Happy fall equinox! Today marks the second harvest, a time of thanksgiving and celebration. Day and night are exactly equal in length on this date, and after today, the moon will officially get more sky-time than the sun until spring.
Here is a simple ceremony to be performed on the fall equinox to give thanks for all that we have harvested this year, to share a toast with the earth, and to welcome the season of darkness.
Gather thirteen nuts or berries and a glass of apple cider or wine. Go outside at dusk and dig a shallow hole in the earth. One at a time, hold a nut or berry in your hand, state something you are thankful for, and place it in the ground. Do this for all your nuts or berries, then bury them. Pour some of your beverage onto the spot and then take a sip of it. Next, hold your glass up to the west and say cheers to the coming darkness. Watch night fall as you enjoy your drink.
Autumn’s Turn: The Healing Season of Fall
by Andrew Pacholyk, MS L.Ac
From his exciting new book, Lead Us To A Place ~ your spiritual journey through life’s seasons.
Fall represents a time of gathering. As an expression in nature, this is the time when crops are harvested. Leaves are changing to brilliant colors, the nights are becoming cooler and longer, as the days grow shorter. Gathering and elimination are the traits of this season and can be seen in nature, as well as human health.
This is a good time of year to be more conscious about and take care of the lungs, large intestine, and our skin, by nurturing them well. The change in weather affects our respiratory and immune system, so it is a good time to build up our defenses. Sometimes, we feel “stuck” in Fall, both emotionally and physically. Eating a diet with more fiber can help the large intestine to better move things along, while our mind must be clear and focused in order to process the emotional changes of the season. Our skin is our first line of defense, so keeping it moisturized and supple will both protect it and allow for a smoother transition during a time of colder more harsh weather ahead.
We can also look at Fall as a life marker or cycle in our lives. By the season of Fall, our lives have “turned a corner”. It is our third quadrant of development from our 50’s through our 60’s. This period in our lives represents an awareness of how life is perceived. The “new” ideas that come around now, tend to be seen through jaded eyes, as by now, we feel as if we have seen and done it all. Our caution comes as we seem to question more and take other things for granted much less.
Fall also represents a new-found knowledge of prosperity. It is often the time in our lives when we actually understand the basis of prosperity, not just being money or fame, but flourishing and thriving in our productive years. This suggests that “sensing” actually means the use of our perception in a much keener approach. We tend to be more observant and are more conscious of our intuition or 6th sense.
Fall is the raw, unprocessed information we take in and discern more directly and with immediate consciousness. We no longer take things for granted as we look for much deeper connections. We are more discerning in our relationships and have a better grasp at the art of sensuality.
In this season of our lives, we tend to switch to more left-brain thinking or perform tasks that have to do with logic, such as making better-informed decisions, comprehending our surroundings faster and seeing further ahead into our thoughts. These are steps out of the peak of our enthusiasm and into our waking consciousness. This is now the exact opposite of our “Spring”.
Fantastical Fall is the approach of our Autumn shadows. Shadows we start to see and feel, yet we simply push away or choose to ignore. These are shadows of darkness, aging, loss, and death.
~ O harvest mother, bring us near,
a place of love when Fall is here.
To bless and honor hearth and home,
when chill comes round and changes so…
so much to bring abundance in,
and keep us well, till Spring begins.
Oh harvest dolly, blessing dear,
we thank thee for our season’s cheer.
So bring around a basket full,
for all to have and share by Yule.”
~ Andrew Pacholyk MS. L.Ac.
In each aspect of our lives, there are certain “priorities” we find important and tend to focus more on. This is often based on our age or need to fit in, our self-discovery or need to be recognized. Our priorities of life are the cornerstones we use to define ourselves, better understand who we are or are sometimes forced to recognize out of circumstance.
Our “Fall” priorities are focused more on the spiritual approach to life and how we can understand it. It is part intuition, part conscious thought. It is believing more in the metaphysical than the physical. It is taking in the better understanding of divination and intuition, the strength of forgiveness and the gathering of knowledge through journeys and therefore, enhancing our prosperity!
Heartwings Love Notes 899 Small Victories can be Big Triumphs
Heartwings says, “Your small successes are important steps toward your greater achievements.”
I have a distinct memory of learning to tie my shoes. I know I was still only three, because I was attending nursery school at the time. My memory is of bending over my shoes until I had learned to wind the shoelaces into bows that would keep them tied. I can see the bedroom I slept in and feel my sense of frustration as I tried and tried to tie those laces until at last I succeeded. Then oh, how happy I was!
Just recently I had another small victory. I was able to put on my left sock all by myself. To do that sounds so simple. Yet it was the final step since my hip replacement two months ago, in my being able to get myself entirely dressed without help. To be sure up until now Stephen has been ever so kind about assisting me. Yet regardless how kind someone helping you is, it is very appealing, at least to me, to be able to do something I have always been able to do, by myself once more.
My parents weren’t generous with their praise of my accomplishments. They always informed me I was supposed to do well. They were apt to say, “Now that was quite good, can you do better next time?” They thought this was how to encourage me to try harder or at least keep on trying. I, on the other hand, believe strongly in praise. My children’s father taught me this. No matter how wretchedly the children he coached performed, he found a way to say some encouraging words. His teams invariably did well and I think this was one of the main reasons.
Not many of us have a coach in life to praise us, so it is up to us to pat ourselves on the back when we need encouragement, and more importantly, when we need to be acknowledged. It is not only permissible but also important to take note of our personal victories, most especially to do so for ourselves. We need to feel good for ourselves, not because someone else has praised us. When we recognize our successes we can build on them with a sense of satisfaction. When we feel satisfied with our performance we do not need to seek praise elsewhere but instead can feel good and be happy because we know for ourselves that we have done our best.
May you find good things to say to yourself about how you are doing
Blessings and best regards, Tasha Halpert <email@example.com>

We can choose to start over in this very moment, there’s no need to wait for a new year, month, or week.
There are times in our lives that lend themselves to starting something new. The beginning of a new year, finishing school, leaving a job, or changing homes–these all are times that turn our minds to fresh starts. Their advantage is that they bring with them the energy of that event, creating a tide of change around them that we can ride to our next shoreline. But we can choose to start anew anytime. In any moment we can decide that a bad day or a relationship that’s gotten off on the wrong foot can be started again. It is a mental shift that allows us to clean the slate and approach anything with fresh eyes, and we can make that choice at any time.
Starting new is most powerful when we focus our attention to what we are choosing to create. Giving all of our attention to the unwanted aspects of our lives allows what we resist to persist. We need to remember to leave enough room in the process of new beginnings to be kind to ourselves, because it takes time to become accustomed to anything new, no matter how much we like it. There is no need to get down on ourselves if we don’t reach our new goals instantly. Instead, we acknowledge the forward motion and choose to reset and start again, knowing that with each choice we learn, grow, and move forward.
Making the choice to start anew has its own energy–it’s a promise made to you. The forward momentum creates a sort of vacuum behind it, pulling toward you all you need to help you continue moving in your chosen direction. Once the journey has begun, it may take unexpected turns, but it never really ends. Like cycles in nature, there are periods of obvious growth and periods of dormancy that signal a time of waiting for the right moment to burst forth. Each time we choose to start anew we dedicate ourselves to becoming the best we are able to be.
Fantastic Fall: Top 10 Crystals for the Season
Fall is a time of transition. A change in the amount of light we get and changes in weather conditions can all have an effect on our mood and emotions. Crystals can play a part in making changes, improving transitions, and helping us to move forward gracefully. They are a great tool to meditate and contemplate with. Here are my top 10 choices for Fall.
Amber: Warm and inviting this actual resin from tree sap is an excellent choice for Fall. It is great at detoxification and protection from other people’s energies. Due to its strong connection to nature and the earth, amber is a great stone for grounding your higher energies. Amber can add stability to your life. Helpful in clearing up mental chatter it can bring about a positive mental state. Also useful as a memory booster, it a good stone for studying. Amber is used for past life work, divination, and scrying. It aligns mental and emotional bodies via its deep orange and yellow color.
Amethyst: The stone of spirituality and dream recall. Used for contentment and meditation. Provides common sense and flexibility in decisions. Native Indian cultures have used this to strengthen and enhances psychic abilities, imagery, and mind quieting. Wear when sleeping or when awake to reduce anger, impatience, and nightmares. Most effective on the Third Eye and Crown Chakra. Amethyst contains the grounding color of red with the energy of blue, which is expanding, spacious, and flows with peace. Amethyst is the color that you see in the sky as twilight transitions into night. Amethyst takes you on this transition from the magic time of dusk to a conscious shift into a different place. Crossing this threshold is the lesson of humility, which Amethyst can teach us. This stone can show us how to let go and trust; so that you may see beyond the cycle that consumes our attention. Amethyst is considered a Master Healing stone.
Carnelian: This stone represents confidence, boldness, initiative, dramatic abilities, assertiveness, and outgoingness. Used for precision, analysis, stimulating appetite, encouraging celebrations, and brings awareness of feelings. It is the stone of passion and sexuality and is associated with the Sacral/Spleen Chakra. This stone helps you feel anchored and comfortable with your surroundings. It provides a connection to the past or to historical events. Carnelian can improve motivation. Helps one achieve greater success in career or personal matters. Carnelian is one of the most helpful crystals for healing trauma, stress, and emotional wounds that have accumulated in the etheric body or the Aura and manifesting as physical symptoms.
Copper: Excellent energy conductor. It sends and amplifies thoughts, healing, and electrical energy into the wearer’s energy field. Worn next to skin, copper is known as a detoxer and soothes arthritis, rheumatism, and other inflammatory problems. Use to improve exhaustion, poor circulation and balancing energy levels. Helps stabilize the metabolism and heightens the immune system.
Hematite: This crystal is the most recommended stone for grounding and is associated with the Root Chakra, by encourages one’s survival instincts. Hematite condenses scattered feelings, turns fuzziness into mental clarity, enhances concentration, memory, practicality, and helps those who study. Considered the symbol of life energy, hematite allows for more confidence, will power, and boldness. Helps us adjust to being physical. A protective stone that helps bolster low self-esteem, Hematite is known to deflect negativity. In Renaissance times, it was used to restore equilibrium, bring stability, and for astral projection. It brings our awareness back to the body and helps one maintain their sense of self. If worn, magnetic hematite can be placed on any traumatic injury to increase blood circulation.
Jasper: This stone is a methodical and meticulous worker of practical, down to earth solutions. It has the ability to foster and nurture. Its energy is used for grounding and protection. Considered more effective if it is used for long periods of time because it works slowly. Each color of Jasper has additional, specific qualities when used alone. Jasper is very effective when use on the Root Chakra.
Kunzite: Kunzite was discovered by George Frederick Kunz, the former vice president and buyer for Tiffany’s. This stone is used against negative energy and empowers positive and loving thoughts. Most effective on the Heart Chakra, it opens the emotional heart and spiritual heart. It represents unconditional love and compassion. Used for healing abuse/loss/addictions. Helps empower confidence, connection to our higher self and unity. Kunzite is also used for the reason that it deepens altered states, emotionally and spiritually.
Petrified Wood: This “stone” is most noted in helping us to investigate past-life experiences. Makes the user more aware of nature, which India’s shaman used at the Root Chakra, encouraging one’s survival. Petrified Wood is also believed to energize the Heart Chakra. In mythological times, petrified wood was believed to possess divine power and to this day, stands as a symbol of man’s true connection to the natural world. This stone helps with mental longevity, helping to soothe emotions, generating calm and relieves stress.
Sodalite: This stone is most recognized for healing, meditation, and wisdom. This is a good stone for general communication, for the self and writing. It is used for expressing logic and ideas due to its connection with the Throat Chakra. It is also used at the Third Eye Chakra due to the fact that it can access levels of intuitive information and promote the understanding of these concepts. It is also known to enhance community relationships. Sodalite can strongly affect changes in your attitude about yourself. It helps you be more objective and less critical about ways of dealing with existence. It is a stone associated with studying.
Sunstone: This stone is a kiss of sunshine, crystallized. Honoring God, this stone brings good luck and fortune. It energizes and empowers one’s self. Historically used to warm the heart and lift/rejuvenate the spirit. Sunstone is used for protection, life force energy, and grounding. Sunstone is a great stone to use with “energy vampires”, or those who drain your energy from you. This includes parents, children, lovers, patients, bosses or anyone who is possessive, aggressive, or overbearing. Sunstone breaks these bonds and allows light, separation, and clarity from these energies. The Mayan used Sunstone by placing it on the power center or Solar Plexus Chakra. Sunstone is a great stone to relieve stress and overcome fear. This stone is so brilliant that it can bring optimism, happiness, and joy to anyone. Use this stone to help bring awareness to your spiritual realm and encourage the priorities of life. This is one of my favorite stones for depression. A good stone to strengthen the psyche as it promotes cheerfulness, good humor and a benevolent temper.

Therapies for healing
mind, body, spirit
by Stephen Halpert
Even from outside Peter Skeffington was taken aback by the strong odor of cigarette smoke. It came from the small ranch house near the beach where he was hoping to look at a collection of books. Walking into the front hall he felt nervous. Had he wasted several houses driving to the Cape from Worcester, he wondered? Even though the owner had said that the collection was housed in glass cases, was it really free of the pervasive reek of second hand smoke?
The woman he had spoken to on the phone, and who had greeted him at the door smiled as if she sensed his concern. “The collection for sale was in my bedroom, not in my brother’s,” she assured him. Peter couldn’t place her age but her violet tinted hair and thick mascara seemed typical of an older woman.
She led him down a narrow, dimly lit hallway and into a second bedroom that contained a small day bed, an arm chair, two lamps and stacked cases with frosted glass doors. They stood against the walls and under a window overlooking the ocean.
“Thank you for coming,” she said. “My late brother Ed wasn’t much of a reader. He preferred the TV.
She nodded. “You’ll excuse the smell of detergent but it’s the only way I can keep this room free of the murderous smell.”
“It was the cigarettes that killed him. He wouldn’t quit and that was too bad.” Her eyes blinked and showed a glint of tears. She pointed toward the books. “They’re all for sale. It’s easier for me that way. I hate making decisions, deciding which to part with or keep. You see I love them all. They’re my children.”
He nodded not exactly knowing what to say. Opening the glass door of one case he spotted a red clothed copy of Alice In Wonderland . He looked closer; it could well be a rare edition.
“I won’t need the shelves,” she went on. “If you’d like you could make me an offer for them as well.”
He examined them and found that each book was pristine. The Kate Greenaway Almanacs seemed complete, as did the Goudy Lady Books from the mid 19th century.
“You have an astounding collection,” he smiled. “I gather you’ve been collecting all your life.”
Surprisingly, she shook her head. “No,” she smiled. “I’m not a collector.” She shrugged. “I hardly ever read anymore. They all found me rather than the other way around. All I really did was bringing them home.”
“Really!” Was that an original Fanny Hill printed in Worcester by Isaiah Thomas? He reached in and carefully removed it. The pages felt brittle and he didn’t dare examine it. Instead he put it back tenderly.
She watched him intently. “I understand that some of these are quite rare.”
“Oh yes,” he agreed. “I’m sure you’ll do splendidly once I have them catalogued and ready for auction. What made you decide to contact me? Surely there are other book dealers closer to you here on the Cape.”
“You’re in the yellow pages,” she said.
“I drove over in my truck and could load them up now and give you a retainer until the sale.”
She smiled. “Oh that won’t be necessary. I can see that you’re an honest man.”
He noticed God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen, an unusually scarce, privately printed title by Hemingway. Next to it was what he knew to be the West Point edition of Mark Twain’s 1601 and beside it James Joyce’s Ulysses in its pristine rare blue cloth. Peter’s head began to swim. Never in all his years as an antiquarian bookseller had he ever unearthed such a pristine collection of rare books.
He smiled. “I think you’re being terribly modest. You certainly have an eye for rarities and fine volumes.”
“Thank you,” she smiled. “You’re being terribly kind.”
His stomach lurched and he felt as though he needed to eat even though he had stopped at a diner less than an hour ago. Odd he should feel so hungry so fast.
He paused and chose his words carefully. “But I can’t help but wonder what the secret is behind this collection? There has to be one. I’m sorry but there’s something about these books that just doesn’t make any sense.”
She nodded and said. “Not everything has to make sense does it?”
Then he saw Faulkner’s first book Soldiers Pay in a bright dust jacket besides Huxley’s Brave New World in its scarce blue and white designed dust jacket. “I guess not,” he said. He began feeling faint. These books were having an odd effect on him. “May I please have a glass of water? My head feels dazed.”
“Certainly,” she smiled politely. “Just come with me to the kitchen.”
Outside he heard the tide thrash against the sea wall. It was cloudy, thunder rumbled and lightening lit up the sky over the ocean.
“They predicted a hurricane for this week but not for a few more days from now.” She led him into the kitchen. He stumbled to the round table with an oilcloth covering. She handed him water. He gulped it down, and then drank a second and even a third glass.
His head cleared slightly. The fog seemed to have cleared.
“Guess I’d better load up and head for home.” He was surprised by how light the cases felt. He loaded them into his van, gave her a receipt and headed back to Worcester before inclement weather would make driving more difficult.
He pulled into his garage and went into his house. Inside he fell on his bed and slept for several hours until his wife awakened him.
“Are you all right? You’ve been babbling incoherently.”
| “I’m fine. I’ve got to unload my van and get these glass cases into the basement. Then I can relax.”
“Incredible. My guess is my commission will be well into the thousands.”
He carried the twelve cases into the basement and set them down.
Anticipation filled him as he opened the first case. Startled, he drew back. His eyes burned from the reek of cigarette smoke. He looked into one. Inside it were trash paperbacks, yellowed pages, and sordid stained covers.
“But…” He mumbled not believing his eyes.
Each frosted glass case revealed the same yellowed trash. Furthermore, they all reeked of cigarette smoke.
Tears filled his eyes. “How can this be?” he said aloud.
His hand shaking, his eyes tearing, he grabbed the phone and dialed the number of the woman he had just visited. It rang and rang. No one picked it up. He hung up, waited a moment and dialed again. This time an operator came on: “This is not a working number. Please check your number and call again.”
The Universe’s Plan for You
By Madisyn Taylor
Nothing happens in our lives, and in the world, without purpose.
The path that speeds us toward our dreams can be a challenging and complex one, so it’s easy to get bogged down in confusion and insecurities. We often hesitate at the start of that path, questioning our purpose or our capabilities. Yet we should be moving forward joyously, eager to discover what destiny has in store for us. The universe has plans for us that eclipse anything we have dreamed of thus far. Though we must work diligently to fulfill our potential and to accomplish our individual missions, the universe is aware of both the quests we chose before birth and the goals we have formulated in adulthood. If we accept that it is watching over us and believe that it will facilitate our eventual success, the universe will provide us with the assistance and opportunities that enable us to make significant progress on our journeys of ambition.
Nothing happens without a purpose. Whether we attract success or repel it depends on our willingness to stay open to a wide range of possibilities and to embrace concepts like synchronicity. The universe is always ready to care for our needs, but we must not write off its loving attention as mere circumstance or chance. Likewise, we must endeavor to ensure that our egos do not become a barrier that prevents us from recognizing that even perceived mistakes and strife can be profound lessons that smooth the progress of personal evolution. When we understand that we only need to enthusiastically try our best to realize our objectives, the universe will take care of the details, propelling us forward in its unstoppable current. We may not always immediately understand the significance of certain experiences, but our trust will help us choose wisely at each crossroads.
The universe wants to see you accomplish your goals. No matter how long you’ve dallied or hesitated, it will always be there to put its plan for you in motion at the first sign of your faith. You can make the most of this aid by acquiescing to it rather than fighting it–nurture your dreams but do not attempt to micromanage every detail along the way. The universe will provide you with guidance and, if you heed that guidance, you will find your formerly stressful quest for success will become a journey of great joy.

Daily Horoscopes For: Monday, 30 September 2019
If you’re born within cusp period (16 to 26 of any month); you’re advised to read horoscopes of both signs covered by that period. You’re in the border; you may have influences from houses within those signs.
Personal theme: I am!!
Fire & cardinal sign: March 21 — April 19
Your horoscope for today:
Epigram: An excellent day is in store if you’re focused and productive. It’s when your mind wanders that you could find yourself in a place that doesn’t feel good. You know what they say about an idle mind. Why not turn your energy towards your money? If you want a hot money tip, ask a Taurus.
Relationship: With the emotional Scorpio Moon at a weird angle to wounded Chiron in your sign, someone could get their feelings hurt (maybe you.) If you’re on edge, ‘don’t dish it out if you can’t take it’ is a wise rule. It can be tempting to venture into sensitive, emotional territory, although you may not have the stomach for what you discover. Save probing discussions (and online sleuthing) for a later date.
Career & Finance: No matter what your current assignment is, you’ll bring the drive needed to get the job done. Especially if there’s a financial goal that you’re motivated to achieve. A powerful alignment between productive Mars in Virgo and Vesta in materialistic Taurus says that nothing is a bigger motivator than money. If you’re slogging through the day, identify a coveted item or a financial milestone that a little extra effort can help you attain. Whatever it takes.
Spirituality: If you’re going to navel-gaze, focus on the positive instead of obsessing over all your shortcomings. Change needs to be approached from a place of self-acceptance, so embrace all your quirks.
Personal theme: I have!!
Earth & fixed sign: April 20 — May 20
Your horoscope for today:
Epigram: You might not be in the mood to deal with your fellow humans. Your day will go swimmingly if you can operate as a solo agent. If not, don’t punish people, especially that Scorpio of your acquaintance, just because you’re in a foul mood.
Relationship: Whose side are you on anyway? With Mars aspecting dedicated Vesta in your sign, you’re the one you’re fighting for. Hence, a romance or friendship will have to accommodate you. It isn’t selfishness. Sometimes, it’s important that you advocate for yourself. Especially if you’ve lost a lot of ground acquiescing to other’s demands. Don’t feel guilty about holding firm and asking for what you want.
Career & Finance: Collaborating with a colleague or dealing with a client can be a little rocky as the cunning Scorpio Moon clashes with unruly Uranus and wounded Chiron. Surprisingly, you could be the one who suddenly decides not to go along with the program. Perhaps you’re feeling unsure of yourself? If so, try to stage a graceful exit rather than a disruptive retreat.
Spirituality: With an edgy Neptune/Juno alignment in play, you might wonder whether anyone truly gets you and whether your desires will ever be met. It’s disconcerting, for sure. But you won’t feel good if you go there. Focus on the positive.
Personal theme: I think!!
Air sign: May 21 — June 20
Your horoscope for today:
Epigram: There are no easy outs, but that doesn’t mean that you can’t make the most of what could be a challenging day. Find a way to be of service to someone who’s struggling. It will benefit the giver and receiver alike. And if you need a shoulder to cry on at the end of the day, call a Cancer.
Relationship: Avoiding a problem with a friend makes things awkward while confronting it means that someone could end up getting their feelings hurt. Being a friend isn’t always easy. Sometimes even the best relationships require maintenance to keep them on an even keel. If you’re not feeling it, postpone dealing with the matter today.. However, you can’t avoid it forever.
Career & Finance: With a stressful Neptune/Juno opposition, you might feel disheartened if higher-ups don’t appreciate your dedication to your job or recognize your contributions. You could be right. You could be wrong. One thing’s for sure – getting emotional makes it hard to see things objectively. Table the matter for now and revisit it when you have more clarity.
Spirituality: If you’re looking for a mood boost, find a way to offer tangible support to a charitable organization or an individual in need. A powerful alignment between driven Mars in Virgo and dedicated Vesta in Taurus suggests that you’ll be pretty motivated to get involved if your actions can make a difference.
Personal theme: I feel!!
Water & cardinal sign: June 21 — July 22
Your horoscope for today:
Epigram: Your vibes are intense, and they affect the people around you, so be mindful of the energy you’re sending out. You can be impactful if you’re conscious of what you’re doing, but you can be a total nightmare if you’re acting unawares. Own your energy, and don’t get it tangled up with that of an Aquarius who’s wandering around. It won’t go well for either of you.
Relationship: You’re as good a friend as they come. And with defender Mars aspecting dedicated Vesta, you’ll be quick to protect someone you care about or to lend them your support. You’ll do the heavy lifting (literally) that’s required to get them out of a jam, and you won’t complain if it involves getting your hands dirty. You set an excellent example of what friendship really means.
Career & Finance: With the Scorpio Moon aspecting disruptor Uranus and wounded Chiron, your wacky antics could be too much for the workplace. You could attract unwanted attention if you let your freak flag fly. There’s no erasing an unfavourable impression nor explaining it away. Be professional on the job and save your weirdness for your downtime..
Spirituality: An existential crisis could leave you with questions about your purpose or whether God exists. You could really work yourself into a state if you go down this rabbit hole. It’s calm, not chaos, that will help you discover your truth.
Personal theme: I will!!
Fire & fixed sign: July 23 — August 22
Your horoscope for today:
Epigram: There’s a weird vibe in the air, and it’s a little unnerving. Gravitate toward the people and things that feed your spirit rather than getting drawn into chaos. If things become too much, turn to a trusted Taurus for cheering up and practical advice.
Relationship: With the emotional Scorpio Moon in your domestic realm, you’ll crave the quiet comfort that only home can provide. However, it isn’t exactly cosy as the moon clashes with up setter Uranus and wounded Chiron. If you find yourself getting worked up rather than unwinding, it might be wise to get out of the house. Why not connect with a cheerful friend? You could use a pick-me-up.
Career & Finance: If there’s money to be made, you’re on it. With motivated Mars in Virgo aligning with dedicated Vesta in Taurus, you’re all about chasing goals with tangible rewards. If you can’t take it to the bank, it isn’t worth your time and effort. Save grand schemes and experimental concepts for a later date. Right now, the vibe is all about putting cash in your pocket. It’s the only way to put a cushion between you and things you can’t control.
Spirituality: If you’re feeling empty, it could be because you’re neglecting your inner life. What’s the thing that gives you meaning? Spirituality? Creativity? Spending time in nature? Identify it and immerse yourself in it.
Personal theme: I analyse!!
Earth & mutable sign: August 23 — September 22
Your horoscope for today:
Epigram: An edgy vibe can throw you off-centre, or it can motivate you to do whatever it takes to stay on track. You do have a choice, though, frankly, you should just deal with it if a Taurus proves to be correct, and you prove to be incorrect.
Relationship: No matter how helpful you are, it might not be enough to please your partner as committed Juno opposes disillusioned Neptune. It isn’t that you’re doing the wrong thing. It’s that no matter what you do, it’s never right. This is a battle you’ll never win so, for now, stop trying. If the roles are reversed, you might need to lower your standards. You can’t always be so picky about everything.
Career & Finance: What you think you know could prove to be substandard when someone puts your ideas up against cutting-edge data. It might sting a little, but don’t take it personally if you’re a bit behind the times. Consider this an invitation to bring yourself up to speed on the news and info that pertains to what you do.
Spirituality: The quest for meaning is on! As driven Mars in your sign aligns with devoted Vesta in Taurus, you need tangible proof of your purpose or, at least, as close to it as you can get. A spiritual practice, academics, or travel could provide key pieces to your puzzle. If what you discover puts your talents to use in a practical way, you’re on the right track.
Personal theme: I balance!!
Air & cardinal sign: September 23 — October 22
Your horoscope for today:
Epigram: No matter what happens today, try not to take it to heart. Levelling up in life will require that you don’t get rocked by weird vibes and situations you can neither predict nor control. A Gemini is your best bet at figuring out what the heck is going on.
Relationship: You’re determined to satisfy your emotional and sexual needs. However, with the sensual Scorpio Moon at odds with up setter Uranus and wounded Chiron, your advances could be rebuffed if you approach your lover in the wrong way. It’s almost impossible to read the signals. Thus, everything you do elicits a surprising response. Good luck figuring it out. If you’re on your own tonight, it might be for the best.
Career & Finance: If you’re feeling lost on the job, you can blame an unsettling Juno/Neptune opposition for mucking things up. Under this influence, it can be hard to find the sweet spot between the skills you have to offer and what the job demands. You might even question whether your current position or assignment is really the right fit. You don’t need to make your mind up today. See how you feel in the days and weeks ahead.
Spirituality: You won’t get the validation you need from external sources. You’ll need to co-sign your own plans. Pretty soon, you’ll know if you’ve made the right decisions.
Scorpio & Ophiuchus
Personal theme: I desire!!
Water & fixed signs: October 23 — November 21
Your horoscope for today:
Epigram: Brooding is par for the course when the moon is in your sign. Why not defy your reputation and show the world a more agreeable side? That’s one way to keep everyone on their toes. Especially that Taurus that is doing their best to get you down.
Relationship: Word on the street is that you’re a good friend and a devoted partner. You’ll prove it as defender Mars aligns with devoted Vesta in your people zones. You’re there to protect and serve the people you care most about and keep them from harm. Loyalty inspires loyalty, so your inner circle will have your back too. If you’re in the market for pals or a partner, look for the ones who make you want to be a better person
Career & Finance: There’s no getting on the same page with other people while the moon in your sign opposes disruptor Uranus in Taurus. Add a nod from wounded Chiron to the mix, and you won’t do anything that inconveniences you or makes you feel insecure. Don’t let your moodiness make waves with a colleague or an important client. The upset you make could reverberate and create trouble for you in the future.
Spirituality: Comparing yourself to more talented friends is an excellent way to ruin your mojo. Everyone has his or her own unique set of gifts. If someone else has better skills, it’s probably because they’ve worked harder at polishing them. What’s your excuse?
Personal theme: I see!!
Fire & mutable sign: November 22 — December 21
Your horoscope for today:
Epigram: One minute you’re up and energized, the next, you’re drained and feeling low. Don’t go to extremes. Find your centre, stay there, and away from other people who are giving into the extremes like that Taurus over there. Who actually knows what’s up with them anyway?
Relationship: If you’re not in the mood for surprises, you should probably go it alone. The brooding Scorpio Moon aspecting wounded Chiron and disruptor Uranus says that someone is sure to get on your nerves. What you need is peace and quiet, not people who bring chaos and unpredictability into your private world. Even the most dependable and sane person you know could rattle you, so be very, very selective about who you spend time with.
Career & Finance: Everyone had better step aside and make way. With driven Mars in Virgo aspecting dedicated Vesta in Taurus, you didn’t come to play. Whether you take on a physically challenging task or an assignment that requires strategy and smarts, this dynamic planetary pair empowers you to make a huge impact. You want to see measurable results, so you’ll keep at it until the job is done. You won’t be terribly flexible. Hopefully, everyone’s prepared to go along with your plan.
Spirituality: When your emotional energy is low, you look for the chinks in your armour. God forbid, that something should harm you when you’re already feeling vulnerable. Don’t worry, Sagittarius. You’re safe.
Personal theme: I use!!
Earth & cardinal sign: December 22 — January 19
Your horoscope for today:
Epigram: Go with what you feel confident about and don’t let a Pisces confuse you anymore than you already are or get too side-tracked by the things you’ve yet to figure out. There’s too much to do today to get lost in abstractions. Stay focused.
Relationship: Whether you have a date lined up or you’re getting together with a friend, you shouldn’t expect that anything will go according to a plan. A disruptive moon/Uranus opposition suggests that someone could flake at the last minute or you might have to make a sudden change of venue. Having an alternative in mind can help to prevent disaster. Make the Boy Scout motto your mantra – always prepared.
Career & Finance: Seize the moment and put what you know into action. Productive Mars in Virgo syncing with devoted Vesta in Taurus is an invitation to share a skill or project that you’ve worked hard to develop. The passion that you’ve put into this will shine through. It will tell the world a little something about who you are and what you can do. It’s an excellent time for activities that showcase your creative abilities..
Spirituality: An epic Juno/Neptune opposition could spark a spiritual crisis, but that’s only if you already have doubts about your beliefs. If so, ask questions, read books, and talk to someone who can offer a fresh perspective.
Personal theme: I know!!
Air & fixed sign: January 20 — February 18
Your horoscope for today:
Epigram: Don’t be your own worst enemy.. People are watching, it’s a wise idea to keep weird impulses in check. It isn’t always to your advantage to play the rebel. Sometimes, it can be to your detriment. Look to a Virgo for a steadying influence.
Relationship: You might wonder if you’re getting your money’s worth out of your closest relationships as committed Juno in Virgo clashes with dodgy Neptune in Pisces. In other words, are people as attentive to your emotional, sexual, and financial needs as you are to theirs? An even better question to ask is whether you’re really as generous as you think. The answer could surprise you. Maybe your giving game could use an upgrade?
Career & Finance: With a wacky moon/Uranus opposition casting a shadow upon your image, you might not be fully aware of how you’re perceived. Quirky behaviour could come across as immature or inappropriate. Add a nod from wounded Chiron to the mix, and you could say or do something that puts you in a vulnerable position. It might be best to fly under the radar. The less people see of you, the better (especially higher-ups.)
Spirituality: You’re deeply protective of your private life and of the people who are nearest and dearest to you. If there’s a problem, you won’t waste time sourcing a solution. There’s something to be said for being needed. It makes you feel like there’s a place where you belong.
Personal theme: I believe!!
Mutable & water sign: February 19 — March 20
Your horoscope for today:
Epigram: You’re content to live in your own world. It’s when your world collides with what exists outside of it that things get a little shaky. You can’t always live inside your bubble. Put on your protective gear, grab a Scorpio for support, and venture out.
Relationship: A disconnect between how you perceive a relationship and the reality can be dizzying due to committed Juno in Virgo opposing illusory Neptune in your sign. At best, unrealistic ideas lead to disappointment while, at worst, someone could end up thoroughly deceived. It’s time to remove the rose-coloured glasses and see what’s in front of your eyes. If single, idealistic romantic notions could be what stands between you and an authentic partnership. Reality check, maybe?
Career & Finance: In your head, it sounds like a genius idea. But when you put it out into the world, it seems totally bonkers. You can thank a disruptive moon/Uranus influence for mucking up your mental flow. Perhaps it’s a matter of timing, and people just aren’t ready for your inventive ideas? Or maybe it really doesn’t make any sense? Run it by a colleague before you release it to the general public.
Spirituality: You’re not all talk. When you give your word, people can trust that you’ll keep it. You’ll earn points today for walking your talk.
