Light A Candle Today!
In many different traditions lighting a candle is a sacred action. It expresses more than words can express. It has to do with gratefulness. From time immemorial, people have lit candles in sacred places. You may want to begin or end your day by the sacred ritual of lighting a candle on this gratefulness. Or you may want to light a birthday candle for a friend. One single guideline is all you need: Slow down and do it with full attention.

A Strawberry Love Spell
June 10, 2019 by James Kambos
Fresh strawberries, which can be found in many areas at this time of year, should be used for this spell. Strawberries are ruled by Venus, which makes them the perfect love food to serve your romantic partner. First, decide how you wish to serve the strawberries. As you prepare them, say this charm:
“Strawberries, sacred food of Venus,
Protect our love, let nothing come between us.
For you, I prepare this fruit, the color of sweetest wine,
For always I am yours, and you are mine.
From my loving hands to your passionate lips,
May this fruit light the flame of desire you can’t resist.”
Serve this fruit of passion and love on the prettiest dishes you have. If you need an extra bit of punch-in other words, lust-garnish the strawberries with a sprig of fresh mint. As an alternative, you could serve strawberries dipped in chocolate.
The Day of the Holy Book
June 09, 2019 by Barbara Ardinger
Today is Shavuot, the Jewish festival that commemorates the delivery of their holy book, the Torah, to the Hebrew tribes at Mount Sinai. It also signals the grain harvest. We Pagans are not cultural pirates; we don’t steal other people’s rituals. But we can share their remembrance by creating rituals of our own with similar intentions.
Let us therefore look at books we consider holy in a practical sense. We’ve all been given books or come upon books that changed our lives. Or maybe they “flew” off shelves and landed in our hands. Maybe the book introduced us to the Goddess, maybe it gives Neopagan practices, maybe it’s historical, or maybe it’s a modern novel.
Bring your covenmates together today, all with their own “holy books.” Give thanks to the authors of the books, then read a few specially meaningful paragraphs aloud to each other. What did you “harvest” from your book?
Spirit Guide Oil
June 08, 2019 by Devin Hunter
Our spirit guides are always with us, but sometimes it isn’t easy to sense them. Blend this oil during the daylight hours to bring clarity and enhance communication between you and your spirit guides. Once all the ingredients have been mixed and you have said the enchantment, allow this oil to steep for three days somewhere dark and cool before using for best results.
Mix two parts sage essential oil, two parts lavender essential oil, and one part mugwort essential oil into five parts carrier oil (such as almond or fractionated coconut oil). As you blend the oils together, enchant the mixture by saying:
“Spirit guides and allies, hear my voice
and be here now. May this oil bear
your mark and connect us across
time, matter, energy, and space! May
my thoughts be your thoughts, my
words your words! So must it be!”
Rune and a Rose with Freya
June 07, 2019 by Blake Octavian Blair
Friday is Freya’s Day. The Norse goddess Freya wears many hats. Aside from being a mother figure, she also oversees rune lore, prophecy, magick, and love. This makes her a pretty desirable goddess to ask for advice on relationships.
Today, acquire a rose and offer it to Freya. Then, holding a bag, bowl, or box of runes, ask the runes and Freya for guidance on one of your life’s relationships. Then reach in, grab three runes, and cast them. If you’re not yet versed in the runes, you can find a book or a reliable internet guide to assist in your interpretation of their message. Be sure to journal the results of your readings to refer back to as time passes and events unfold. Repeat this ritual (with an offering) as you feel necessary in the future.
Pledge for Fidelity
June 06, 2019 by Ember Grant
June is a popular month for weddings, so this ritual can be used for a handfasting ceremony or simply any time two people want to commemorate or renew their bond. All you need for this ritual is an ivy plant or two. Traditionally used for good luck, protection, and fidelity, ivy is often carried by brides. Simply exchange your ivy with another person as you speak the chant together. You can use potted plants, pieces of vine, or even single leaves. The benefit of using potted plants is that you can keep them in your home or plant them in your garden. Here is the chant:
“For loyalty and love,
This tenacious vine,
Holding fast in place,
While continuing to climb.
Leaf of love and strength,
Mark this sacred time.
Today we make a pledge
Blessed by the divine.”

Fate and chance are always locked in a heated game of fortuitous happenstance. If you seek an instant answer of any kind today, might I recommend a timeless and classic playground divination method to set your life awhirl with chance and synchronicity?
While not all versions of this rhyme are innocent, the version I recommend and often use is as Scottish as my ancestry. I love using this rhyme from my childhood as a method of exercising chance, whether it be encouraging myself to take a new route home or select a random flavor of ice cream. It’s easy: as you chant, eliminate any options that land on out and naught until only one single option remains. This method rarely disappoints.
“Eetle, ottle, black bottle,
Eetle, ottle, out!
If you want bannock and coddle,
Needle me, noddle naught!
This or that black bottle (poison),
This or that is out!
If you want pancakes and indulgent cuddles,
Irritate my head not.”
Old Maids No More
June 04, 2019 by Emyme
A quaint newspaper article from June 4, 1953, heralded this day as “Old Maid’s Day” in honor of all unmarried women over the age of thirty. We’ve come a long way. In the modern triumvirate of maiden/ mother/crone, a woman at thirty may still be firmly lodged in the maiden years. Celebrate the maidens in your life in a special way. Plan a meal or an outing. Send flowers or an edible bouquet. If you are a maiden, take time to celebrate the mothers and crones in your life. Remember, they were once maidens like you.
New Moon Reboot
June 03, 2019 by Deborah Blake
Throughout the course of the year, we all need to stop, take stock of our lives, reassess, and reboot. This new moon, as we head into summer, is the perfect time to check in on the growth of all the things you planted earlier in the year. Is everything going as you’d hoped? If not, what would you change? Make a list or simply focus on what you’d like to go differently from this point on. Then go outside if you can (or sit inside and look out at the darkness), light a white candle, and give yourself a surge of new energy as you say:
“New moon, bring me new energy.
Set me on a new path or redirect the old
So that I might move toward
healing, and balance.
So mote it be.”
Venus Enters Gemini
On June 8, Venus the Goddess of Love, that rules over our relationships and often financial affairs enters the sign of Gemini, through July 3rd.
We definitely can be more talkative and naturally curious, under this influence. Our
minds are whirling with juicy information along with a stronger than normal desire to share, however, we can get lost in conversation. We can be extremely indecisive but also aware, because we can read between the lines in any form of communication. This is a time when we like to multi-task as we’re motivated by our own curiosity. Which with Venus involved, the Goddess of Love, that means some people are also going to be more curious than usual about being free and not in a relationship, as the air sign Gemini influence can make us desire more alone time, and we can feel quite detached and therefore, this is not a time to take love or a relationship too seriously. Keep it light and fluffy folks!
On the other hand under this influence we are more flirty, so it’s no wonder this is a time of romance as we tend to date and hook up more. There’s a need for variety and diversity however, because our minds are so charged up that our hearts tend to follow. This energy keeps us engaged and interested in human contact and relationships. Since Venus is involved, this energy affects our love lives and relationships, and with it being in the sign of Gemini, we can be more fickle and picky.
Feeling more attracted to words, we can bond very easily with others on mental levels, but we are also more sensitive to stimulus, touch, and other vibrations that are being sent out on the airwaves. So we can feel quite good with positive energies, but very bad if we get around anything negative. The energy of Gemini is very empathic and therefore we tend to feel everyone’s else’s emotions from time to time, so you may want to be more careful about taking on our lovers emotional baggage and protect ourselves energetically. Shields up folks!
It is a good time to connect intellectually with others relationships, but especially with our partners, as we feel each other’s energies in a unique way. But we can be more fun, whimsical, light and breezy, but also quite animated and often funny in our relationships. So we don’t enjoy getting to deep emotionally right now, and would much rather keep our relationships more above the surface for now.
This is a strong time for sexual activities, and tantalizing communication, as a little erotica whispered in the ears of our lovers or partners can send them over the edge! But we should be picky and not just get it on with anyone who is willing. Don’t take a little extra attention or an open invitation as a clear sign you should be doing anything with just anymore.
Venus also rules over money, and since there are two sides to the sign of the twins, Gemini’s duality comes into play. As our attitude towards our finances is more easy come, easy go. We are cheapskates in one moment and spendthrifts in the next, all depending on how much mola we have in the moment. With Venus in intellectual Gemini, we tend to spend our money on experiences that will stimulate our mind, like movies, books, apps online, and writing materials. So even when money is low, we manage to come up with just enough to watch something fascinating, or purchase a good book, or just have coffee with a friend.
Heartwings Love Notes 883 Lemons are Luscious when Sweetened
Heartwings says, “To be helpful, life’s lemons must be sweetened with understanding.”
Versatile lemons can be used in so many ways it is impossible to count them. You can use them to polish your furniture or to soften your elbows. I found a lot about their uses when I was doing research for my book Up to my Neck in Lemons. In the Middle Ages ladies used a special straw brim with holes in it to lighten their hair. They would pull strands of hair through the holes and bleach them by painting them with lemon juice and siting in the sun.
Though they have so many other uses as I discovered, we usually think of lemons as food. Yet unlike most fruit, they are not meant to be eaten plain–like apples, or even peeled and sectioned like oranges. Rather they make a fine ingredient or a wonderful seasoning. Life’s lemons are equally useful. They can season or sweeten our experience, helping us to make our best use of it to learn and grow. However it does take experience and tenacity both to learn this and to put it into operation.
The first and most important skill to develop is observation. I must first notice how I am looking at my life lemon. Once I see how I perceive it, I can change my perspective and see it differently. For example if I am feeling frustrated because something isn’t working the way I want it to, I can keep pushing against the difficulty or I can look to see if there is another way to approach it or perhaps even how I can use it to my advantage.
I can choose how to use this particular lemon-as a sour taste or as a reminder that something must change in order for me to succeed. Of course this can take time and effort, but so does any good recipe, whether for happy living or lemon meringue pudding or pie. In my new book, Up To My Neck in Lemons, I have many actual lemon recipes together with poems, and essays that provide examples of how I have dealt with some of my life lemons. If you would like a copy, please contact me. I’ll tell you how to get a personally autographed copy.
May you find good ways to use your life lemons,
Blessings and best Regards, Tasha Halpert

Making an Herbal Salve
By Margaret Boyles
Chopping comfrey and plantain leaves
Herbal salves (a term often used interchangeably with ointments, creams, balms, and unguents; I’ve never found definitions that differentiate them clearly) have come down through the ages as the premier household first-aid for scrapes, burns, wounds, itches, stings, bruises, diaper rashes, and more.
Often expensive to buy, they’re relatively cheap and easy to make.
Early to midsummer is a great time of year to try your hand at it. Many healing herbs are in full leaf and have just begun to flower, concentrating their active healing constituents in their aboveground parts. (Fall is a good time to make root-based salves.)
I like to start with an herb-infused oil, which involves slightly wilting, then chopping and bruising the leaves or flowers I’ve collected, packing them loosely into a clean glass jar, and covering them with oil. I cover the top of the jar with a piece of cheesecloth or a coffee filter secured with a rubber band. This lets moisture that would otherwise spoil the salve escape from the jar.
Then I just leave the jar in a sunny windowsill for two or three weeks, shaking or stirring the infusion whenever I think of it, usually once or twice a day. I use a long wooden spoon for stirring.
When the herbs have infused long enough, I strain the plant material out with a cheesecloth, catching the oil in a glass pitcher, twisting the end of the cloth to squeeze as much oil as possible from the leafy material.
The final step: melting pure beeswax (use a double boiler on the stove or a Pyrex cup within a glass bowl in the microwave), and adding it to the infused oil in a ratio of about five parts oil to one part melted wax. Stir with a wooden spoon and store in a sterilized glass or metal container.
It’s easy to adjust the consistency of a salve by adding a bit more oil to make it more spreadable or a bit more beeswax to thicken or harden it. Homemade salves without any preservative agents will last about six to eight months at room temperature out of direct heat and sunlight. Refrigerated, they’ll keep for a year or more.
Today I’m making a general-purpose household salve of comfrey and plantain leaves-the comfrey has just begun to flower at the edge of my vegetable garden, and the plantain grows abundantly in the lawn. I added the chopped leaves to a combination of grapeseed and coconut oil, though I could have used olive, sunflower, sesame, or one of the exotic (and expensive) nut oils. Our ancestors didn’t have access to pressed oils; they made their healing ointments from bear grease, lard, and other animal fats, which reportedly have healing powers of their own.
I also could have used burdock, lemon balm, yarrow, self-heal, or one of dozens of wild and cultivated plants that flourish around here. Later in the season, I plan on making flower salves from mullein, calendula, and St. John’s wort. It’s fun to experiment and learn about the herbs and their uses as you go.
Although herbalists no longer recommend comfrey for internal consumption, it enjoys wide renown as a wound healer (in fact, it helps new skin form so fast, herbalists don’t recommend using it for deep wounds that require slow healing). Plantain enjoys equal renown as an anti-itch, anti-inflammatory herb.
My comfrey-plantain salve is versatile. I’ll use it on itches and stings, chapped hands and lips, cracked heels, ragged cuticles, nicks, cuts, and scrapes. It also works wonders on diaper and heat rash.
One caution: Clean and disinfect a fresh wound, then wait for it to stop bleeding before applying any salve. You don’t want to seal in an infectious agent.

Grief Is Important
By Madisyn Taylor
Grieving doesn’t have to be a process that keeps us rooted in our thoughts of fear and sadness.
Change is something that happens each and every moment in our lives. Since nothing is constant, it may sometimes seem as if we are losing something whenever things do change. Understanding that this is part of our daily existence and that there will not only be gains but also losses in our lives can help us more readily accept and deal with whatever happens.
Whenever we lose something or somebody we love, it is important for us to take time out for ourselves and truly feel the weight of what we are experiencing. Although it may seem that doing so will push us into a deeper state of sadness, truly giving ourselves permission to be with whatever arises actually creates space for us to begin the healing process. This is because the act of grieving is a natural process, allowing us to sort through the range of emotions that are present in our everyday existence. Even though it may sometimes seem easier to involve ourselves in activities that take our minds off of our sadness, this will only make the route to healing more difficult. Unless we listen to where we are in the moment, the emotions we experience will only grow in intensity, and our feelings will manifest themselves in more powerful and less comfortable ways. Once we consciously acknowledge that these emotions are present, however, we are more able to soothe the sorrow of the moment. In so doing, we become more open to our natural ability to heal ourselves.
Grieving doesn’t have to be a process that keeps us rooted in our thoughts of fear and sadness. For the moment we might feel despondent, but by expressing and coping with our true feelings, we face the sadness head-on. When we allow ourselves to accept and deal with our loss fully, we will then be able to continue our life’s journey with a much more positive and accepting outlook. This will make it easier for us to see that our grief is ephemeral and, just like our moments of happiness, it will also come to pass.
The passing of Herbert Braverman coincided within days of the publication of his fifth collection of short stories, Promises to Keep. His beloved wife, Sylvia, ever the practical one stared at the many cartons of the recently arrived first edition. To her regret they represented not only a sizable financial expenditure but also posed the question as to where to store them.
“We could give copies to everyone who attends the funeral,” her equally sensible daughter, Rosalie said. “That would be a fitting tribute to dad plus it gets them off the rug in the foyer.”
“I never understood dad’s stories,” Rosalie’s brother Saul said.
“I know,” Saul’s wife Josie agreed. “You’d think after all these years he’d finally have written stories we could understand.”
“They always seemed so vague.” Sylvia said.
“But I guess they caught on,” Saul said. “I read a review once but it didn’t make much sense either.”
Several days later a thick vellum envelope from Copenhagen arrived in the mail. Sylvia held it up and frowned. “What on earth is the Kierkegaard Society?”
“Looks pretty fancy to me,” Rosalie said.
Sylvia opened the envelope. She pulled out a piece of parchment with fancy lettering and gasped. “Herb’s been awarded their prize for literature.” She handed the letter to Rosalie.
“Two million dollars,” Rosalie read. “If he weren’t already dead, when he heard that he’d have a stroke.”
“Now we can afford new cars and condos,” Saul said. He hugged Josie.
After the announcement appeared reporters began gathering on their doorstep clamoring to know more about the unknown recipient of such a coveted prize.
Sylvia, Rosalie, Saul and Josie looked at each other in confusion.
“What’s there to say?” Sylvia said. “He liked a bagel for breakfast and would sit for hours looking out the window.”
“Sometimes he’d take walks.” Saul said.
“None of that sounds very exciting,” Rosalie said. “If that’s all we can say about dad they’ll think we’re holding something back. We’ve got to make him seem more real and believable.”
“Maybe we could make up some stuff,” Josie said. “You know give him a romantic Hemingway spin.”
“But he never did anything romantic,” Sylvia said. “He didn’t watch television or go to the movies. Once he retired from selling furniture he spent his time writing those confusing stories.”
“There must be something,” Saul said. “Dad must have had a passion.”
“Believe me,” Sylvia said. “If there was passion I’d have seen it.” She stopped and thought a minute. “Oh yes, he loved eating pickled herring.”
“Mother,” Josie said. “You know what the media’s like. We’d better come up with something or they’ll think we’re protecting dad from they’re discovering something far worse.”
The phone rang. Sylvia answered. “Next week? So soon? Oh all right at the Airport Hilton. We’ll be there.” She turned to her family. “They want us for a press conference at two next Thursday.”
“I’ll need to get my hair done,” Rosalie said.
“We’ll make something up.” Josie said. “It doesn’t matter what. He’s dead. So what difference could it make?”
“We’ll be on television.” Sylvia said. “I’ll need a new dress.”
Sylvia, Rosalie, Saul and Josie arrived at the Hilton and were ushered into the main ballroom by a contingent of dignitaries from the Kierkegaard Society. An army of reporters and TV crews applauded politely.
“What was his literary philosophy?” The man from Time asked.
“My husband loved to write,” Sylvia said. “Writing made him happy.”
“Do you agree that his stories reflect their own unique brand of existentialism?” The op ed woman from the Washington Post asked.
“Sure,” Rosalie said. “My dad was way ahead of his time.”
Then the man from Fox News eyeballed Rosalie. “Your dad ever step out, perhaps even have a secret affair?”
The crowd murmured amongst themselves.
Rosalie looked at Sylvia and took her mother’s hand. “From what we understand he did correspond with a woman in Argentina. But we know nothing about her.”
The reporters came to life and started making notes and taking pictures. Rosalie was glad she’d been to the hairdresser.
The Fox News guy swung for the seats. He peered at Sylvia. “You implying your husband had a mistress?”
“I never met her,” Sylvia’s voice was dry.
“And you?” He looked at Saul.
“As far as I know my dad never went to Argentina.”
“But this woman? You confirm her presence?”
Saul pulled at his collar and looked frightfully guilty.
The following morning news of Herbert’s mystery liaison appeared across the globe. Twenty women from Buenos Aires came forward outside the American Embassy tearfully admitting Herbert Braverman was not only their secret lover but the absentee father of their children.
The District Attorney immediately called for DNA testing. Petitions to exhume Herbert cluttered legal dockets. The press was having a field day.
Sales of Promises to Keep soared, over two million copies were now in print. Herb’s four other collections were reprinted and picked up by several book clubs. It was rumored that film treatments were underway.
Surprisingly Sylvia found herself on the cover of People. The reading public saw her as a wife scorned by a man too passionate for his own pickled herring.
One day Sylvia received another envelope from the Prize Committee in Copenhagen. She opened it and read aloud. “We wish to inform you, that after careful deliberation we are withdrawing the literary prize on moral grounds….”
She looked at Rosalie, Saul and Josie and shrugged. “Probably just as well. The way his books are selling that extra money would kick us into a higher tax bracket. Probably saves us a lot in the long run.”
Sylvia looked over at Herb’s photograph on the mantle. He seemed to be smiling.

Take time to plan, as a family unit, the qualities you want to embody and put out into the world.
Family planning generally encompasses questions about when to have our children and how to be financially prepared for the future, but it can also include questions that are more creative and visionary for your family. For example, you might consider and plan on what qualities you would most like to emphasize and develop, and which experiences you would like to place the most value on, within your family unit. One of evolution’s greatest gifts is the gift of experience, which teaches us what worked in our own families of origin and what did not. This information will be exceedingly valuable in envisioning our own family’s ethos.
Perhaps you feel that the world needs more people who are practiced and capable in the art of generosity. With this in mind, you might develop a family tradition of setting one day aside each month to give to the people around you. This could be as simple as making extra portions of a delicious soup, or many loaves of bread, and bringing them to friends and neighbors. Most children love the act of giving, and allowing them to be the ones to present the food will make them very happy. It will also give them positive memories and set a lifelong pattern of generosity. On a larger scale, you may decide that travel and education are your family priorities, and design your lifestyle to suit that philosophy by traveling extensively or living abroad. On the other hand, you may decide that putting down solid roots and building community means the most to you and your children, choosing to spend most of your energy and resources in one chosen spot.
The act of determining what you value most and how you will pass that on to your children is both empowering and creative. As your family grows and your children have ideas of their own, you can incorporate them into the process. In this way, you fulfill the additional purpose of teaching your children how to envision and create their own reality. Most of all, they will learn that life is rich with potential and that expressing their deepest values empowers them to create a life that will be of benefit to the whole world.

Outlines are longer versions; consists of every possible detail of everyday and based on three parts of each sign: 1st, 2nd & 3rd Decan; that is, any of three divisions of 10° within a sign of the zodiac. Even if you know or don`t know your Decan; I recommend, please read all three Decan.
Personal theme: I am!!
Fire & cardinal sign: March 21 — April 19
Your horoscope for this week:
Yes, during the week`s first half, the slow place will annoy you. However, those pivotal questions and painstakingly researched answers or insights are crucial. By midweek, you`ll be glad you`ve kept in touch and continued to discuss those facts. That way. when your ruler Mars, visionary Neptune and practical Saturn, link powerfully on Friday the 14th, and you must think and act swiftly, you`ll be ready to take action.
Normally you love a challenge but not at the moment. Your mood is such that you would happily opt for an easier week than normal. You`ve had to work harder than ever to get results and you`re ready to have a breather. Legal and money matters need to be handled with the greatest care. If you`re unhappy with some arrangements, talk to an expert about what you can do. Don`t let yourself be pushed from pillar to post.
There`s little doubt that this week offers a bumpy cosmic ride. If you thought that protectionism was a major theme last week, be prepared for others to be even more demanding about what is their territory and what is yours, this. It`s to be hoped that by the time the Moon reaches Libra on Tuesday that compromise can be reached. Before then however it would be entirely understandable if the threat of lawsuit didn`t arise.. Fact is that there is something territorial going on. It may be that a colleague feels that not only have you entered their domain, but that you are demanding control of it. It`s likely not necessary for you to back down but for you to make clear your `red lines`. Tempering your natural audacity with the need to work on within a team could prove challenging but, by Friday result in a burgeoning alliance that benefits all.
Personal theme: I have!!
Earth & fixed sign: April 20 — May 20
Your horoscope for this week:
Mostly, obstacles are no more than that, difficulties to be dealt with. But those you`re currently facing are an opportunity to review, if not entirely rethink, an element of your life. True, you probably aren`t in the mood for such changes. Still, it`s increasingly clear they`re vital. That being the case, rather than wasting time on debate, plunge in. Within days you`ll be experiencing the benefits.
You are often the last person to accept change but sometimes change can work out for the best. Excitement is in the air and with so much going on, it will be easier to go with the flow. Be open and ready to accept anything new. Focus on what`s important. Putting too much focus on material matters could make you miserable. Embrace the opportunity to be creative, commune with nature or take up a spiritual practice.
You likely won`t be the only sign feeling outraged as the week begins. There is one day in every year when the Sun opposes Jupiter and when those who tune in to this frequency can go over the top. This is unlikely to be you this time – though it has to be said, that major aspects involving Uranus in your sign just a day later, suggests rising determination to do things your way. It may be that you appear overly exacting and demanding as a result. It might also seem to others that you are no longer willing to work with them. It`s likely that nothing could be further from the truth but that you need others to commit and to agree schedules. These are not the same as deadlines which can, by definition, seem life-threatening. What you need to know by Friday presumably, is that there is a working timetable in place and that others are doing their very best to meet that agreement. For your part, it might be as well to take time to review how much energy you are putting into one particular direction. It may be that you`re compromising something in which you could yet excel.
Personal theme: I think!!
Air sign: May 21 — June 20
Your horoscope for this week:
The setbacks, if not serious disappointments you`re facing are as unfair as they are upsetting. Yet, bizarrely, each is forcing you to pause and examine your approach to one element of your life, from personal arrangements to future plans. You may be tempted to wait, watch and see what happens. You`ll soon realise the matters in question are moving swiftly, and so demand your close attention.
Keep up with the more practical and mundane business of the days. This won`t be much fun but the work has got to be done. Expect some disagreement with a colleague who seems to think they know everything. A little rivalry can be a good thing if it helps push you to achieve your best. Getting involved with a group project will be rewarding. You won`t have expected to be able to help as much as you do and you have every right to feel proud of your accomplishments.
As the week begins, Venus enters your sign. And yes, you could think of this as your lucky star rising. Certainly, the fact that this coincides with the annual opposition of the Sun to Jupiter (this year across the Gemini-Sagittarius axis), suggests that all eyes might be on you. Tempting as it may be to do some crazy dance and show others that not only are you spirited but that you`re also adventurous, you might also need to make clear that you know when to stop. Indeed, you could gain much by displaying self-control and focus. Given that it seems you are reaching a professional turning point (though it is not necessary to be serious all the time!), the more you can show a willingness to attend to detail and yes, stay on track, the greater the chance of reaching an agreement that benefits all.
Personal theme: I feel!!
Water & cardinal sign: June 21 — July 22
Your horoscope for this week:
Unsettling as the combination of intriguing offers and sudden changes you`re facing may be, there`s no arguing each is timely, if not a stunning opportunity. It`s just the pace is so swift you can`t keep up with every detail. For now, simply ensure it`s understood that you`re focusing on the big picture and may need to fine tune arrangements later. The more you explore, the better.
Through no fault of your own you may have to delay ideas for making changes at home. A relative or neighbour will let you down by failing to deliver on a promise. You have a right to feel annoyed and angry with people who are causing so many problems. A workmate who hasn`t been carrying out their fair share of the work is about to get their comeuppance. As long as you are pulling your weight, you have nothing to worry about.
It could easily feel as though others are rocking your boat. Certainly, it seems that your diary will be full and that the number of tasks to be completed (hopefully by the weekend) will even at first glance seem both ridiculous and undoable.. It may be time to ask for assistance. Certainly, as the Moon crosses the base of your solar chart over Tuesday and Wednesday, calling upon friends and colleagues to give emergency assistance will likely be necessary. Recall too, that is not as though you haven`t helped them out in the past. This may be one of those times to call in favours. Fact is that you seem to be under some kind of time pressure. If this is not to have an adverse effect on your health (and recall that the delicate part of the Cerium body is the breast and stomach area), then it might be wise to be careful about what you eat and drink. Note too, that with Mars (in your sign) opposing Saturn on Friday, that it`s entirely possible that not only will your professional expertise be recognised, but that others will be happy and delighted to make clear how valuable your efforts have been and how, in spite of everything, you maintain control.
Personal theme: I will!!
Fire & fixed sign: July 23 — August 22
Your horoscope for this week:
Intriguing as current ideas, and potential changes, may be, there`s one problem. You`ve worryingly little control. This involves others or, perhaps, pivotal decisions must be left to destiny. While, as a determined Leo, this isn`t your style, this once going along with others isn`t just wise, you`ll soon realise you`re a part of something bigger and more exciting than you`d have come up with yourself.
A project or work assignment has reached the stage where it`s too complicated or time consuming to handle on your own. With a little help from an experienced colleague, you will get over the hurdles now facing you. An email from some distant relatives will bring a welcome piece of news. Organise a meal at an elegant restaurant. Getting the family together for a small celebration will be easier than you thought.
As you know, yours is one of the Fire signs. It doesn`t usually take much to get you overly excited or perhaps more accurately, overly reactive. As the Sun opposes Jupiter (also travelling in another of the Fire signs) at the start of this week, you really could go overboard. A strong possibility is contact with those who live and work overseas. Their needs could keep you busy for a few days. It might also be that you need to deal with an emergency. Thinking on your feet will likely be necessary. Amidst all this – and at a different level entirely, – it may be necessary to move things around. This isn`t necessarily a huge property move (though that may be in the back of your mind). First stop may be to clear up papers. Hopefully much of this work is already done. If it isn`t, note that this really does need to be carried out by the Full Moon on June 17. Fact is that before you can move forward, it is necessary to pave the way. In this, – and with the assistance most likely someone born under one of the Water signs of Cancer, Scorpio or Pisces, – you could make headway before Friday.
Personal theme: I analyse!!
Earth sign: August 23 — September 22
Your horoscope for this week:
You`re capable of being a team player but, as a conscientious Virgo, know what you want and, equally, what`s unacceptable. However, with both fiery Mars and your ruler Mercury in the portion of your chart that`s about working closely with others, your options may be limited. Despite any concerns, for now, go with the flow. You`ll avoid pointless debates but could discover how wise others` decisions were.
A long-term legal or financial matter will finally come to a conclusion. Take this opportunity to put your household in order. Issues that have been hanging in the balance will be resolved, causing you to breathe a sigh of relief. Romantic involvements will deepen. You will establish a new level of closeness in an existing relationship. If you`re single and looking for love a new partnership looks promising and you have high hopes for the future.
At the start of what promises to be an exceptionally busy week, the Sun opposes Jupiter. The fact that the backbone of your solar chart is affected suggests that you should take care when lifting any kind of weights. You could, quite literally overstretch and do yourself damage. At a different level entirely, it may be that you need to do a brain dump and pass on information. It could be argued that this would be an excellent time for any kind of test or examination. Though you may feel under time pressure – at least until next weekend, – there`s the strong possibility of you excelling by showing others that you understand completely the boundaries or constraint under which they are working, but also have innovative and creative ideas as to how to move forward. Give new technologies some thought midweek: there may be a small investment that you could make (either in terms of time or money), that would reap dividends around your birthday.
Personal theme: I balance!!
Air & cardinal sign: September 23 — October 22
Your horoscope for this week:
There`s so much on your mind, unsettling issues involving others and time if disruptive ongoing changes, this hardly seems the ideal time to explore ways you can broaden your horizons. Yet with the Sun and, as of Sunday the 9th, your ruler Venus accenting exactly such matters, life`s about discovery. For now, focus on who you can meet and what you can learn. You won`t regret it.
Your best friend or partner has some ambitious plans. You will like their ideas but don`t be two quick to agree with them. Some won`t be as easy as they sound to put into practice and you could get lumbered with responsibilities you don`t need. Group and social events will bring you most rewards. A cheerful atmosphere prevails and there`ll be as much enjoyment from the company around you as from the work or project you are all involved with.
You likely won`t be the only sign called upon to think on your feet as this week begins. It could be that you are in the eye of a professional storm. True, this need not be in a negative sense at all. Venus, your ruling planet, is after all travelling through another of the Air signs. It may be that others are talking your talent up. Yet this could prove an exciting time in other ways too: it may be that as the Moon moves through your sign midweek, that there is the opportunity to expand in a direction that is both fresh and practical. What may have been missing in recent weeks is pure fun and creativity. Though true, under pressure to meet even a self-imposed deadline, it may not be possible to develop these plans as yet. Making clear that you do indeed have plans to increase leisure activities and to invest in a hobby would at least reassure those who care about your well-being, that you are not simply all work and no play.
Scorpio & Ophiuchus
Personal theme: I desire!!
Water & fixed signs: October 23 — November 21
Your horoscope for this week:
Agreeing to plans without knowing all the facts may be out of character, if not worrying.. However, wait even a day and decisions could be made without you. Actually, despite discussions about the long term, this is all about planning. Once things are more settled, probably next week, there`ll be time to review what`s already been decided and, even more, consider what the next steps will be.
You will get an invitation during a casual conversation. This won`t be anything like a big splash occasion despite what someone is saying.. It will be more like a small house warming party where neighbours, both old and new can meet up and get to know each other better. Some friction at home makes it hard for you to relax. It`s important not to let fears about the future grip you as you`re worrying about things that may never happen.
It would be quite understandable if you expended considerable energy at the start of this week – or even overspent! The Sun`s opposition to Jupiter will likely prove demanding for all signs but, in your case, has the potential to be exhausting. On the upside, if involved in any kind of test or examination you could truly excel. True, you might then be exhausted immediately afterwards. Hold the thought however that by Thursday the Moon arrives in your sign. That`s good news in that this should heighten your instincts. This will be the time to back your instincts. You`ll probably be right in thinking that others are going to be super demanding before the weekend.. As they say, only the fittest survive. Be aware though, that it`s those born under the Cardinal signs of Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn who may be pushing hardest – basically because they are tuning in to a cosmic vibration that demands that they `do something`. You however, know well that sometimes it`s best to do nothing until the clouds have moved on. In short, back your hunches.
Personal theme: I see!!
Fire sign: November 22 — December 21
Your horoscope for this week:
When you first began discussing new, and potentially far-reaching, plans some months ago, the way ahead seemed clear. Since then, the actual foundation on which they`d be based has changed, enough you must now undertake a serious rethink. While, in the short term, this will delay the process, what you learn and who you meet could be of huge benefit. Knowing that, explore absolutely everything.
There will be several delays before you are able to start on a new venture or journey. Unexpected expenses or legal issues will stop you moving forward as quickly as you had hoped. This will be aggravating but a practical partner will help keep the situation under control. A seminar or workshop will not be as interesting as you thought it would be but it will give you a chance to make some new friends and it could open up some new options.
The Sun opposes Jupiter in your sign at the start of this week and yes, you could go over the top. The need to branch out, extend your horizons, do something extra-ordinary and generally feel alive was surely be super-strong. The danger here is that you really could over-reach yourself. Note that Uranus is now travelling through the working area of your solar chart. This area describes daily habits as much as it does actual working routine. It may be that health issues demand that you adopt a new diet. Or it could be that there are emergencies at work that leave you doing jobs you`re not used to doing. Either way, there is danger of you over-estimating what you can do realistically. Perhaps imperative is that friends born under the Earth signs of Taurus, Virgo or Capricorn lend assistance. True, you could be exasperated by their approach. It`s probable though that these people would save you from yourself. On the very considerable upside is that if you need to pass on information whether that be through the test, examination or tutoring someone, that this could be one your `finest hours`.
Personal theme: I use!!
Earth & cardinal sign: December 22 — January 19
Your horoscope for this week:
Nobody would argue that, whether it`s life`s pleasures or its obligations, things go more smoothly if you plan ahead. But as is becoming increasingly clear, with the foundation on which those plans are based shifting, you`re better off exploring a range of options, then regarding whatever you organise as a bit of an experiment.. This isn`t just wise, within weeks events will reveal how sensible it was..
Your challenge this week is to work out who you can trust and who you need to be wary of. Someone who has betrayed your trust has caused you to question all your relationships. Don`t feel pressured into agreeing to long-term arrangements until you have explored all options. You might be hoping there aren`t too many demands placed on your time. You have a lot on your mind and it won`t be easy to concentrate on your work.
For a variety of reasons, you may be particularly asset-driven this week. The need to know what you`re worth, what you have in the bank, what you can rely on etc will surely be strong. Having analysed this you could then enrol on a course or agree a travel program that would boost your career. You won`t of course, be the only sign who feels the need to be tested in some way. You though, could amaze and startle others with an original approach. It might also be the case before Mars opposes Saturn in your sign on Friday, that you make clear to others that you are coming to the end or the close of a chapter. It may be very important to you that others maintain an established timeline. The only difficulty with this approach is that whilst under time pressure, you could also create disquiet or even unhappiness.
Personal theme: I know!!
Air & fixed sign: January 20 — February 18
Your horoscope for this week:
In some ways, Aquarius is the most inquisitive of the twelve signs. However, when it comes to sudden changes in your way of living, loving or working, it`s another matter. Generally, you need time to consider whether these would suit you. Sudden events are giving you little choice. While you could battle to delay or even avoid these, deep down it`s clear how wise these are.
You could do with a change of scene but even if you do manage to get away, your mind will be matters needing attention closer to home. Instead of sweeping problems under the rug, own up to them and deal with them immediately. Social plans will be changed when a friend will admit they can`t afford to attend a glamorous party. Since it won`t be the same without them, you might suggest something less stylish you might both enjoy instead.
At the end of this working week, Mars opposes Saturn, one of your ruling planets. This marks a natural time-line: a turning point. What`s important is that you don`t over-reach at the start of the week and create so much tension that by the end of it, you are at near collapse-point. All that said, you are absolutely right in thinking that you could put forward an innovative, creative and risk assessed approach to a difficulty that`s been around for ages. And yes, you may be correct in assuming that things could be streamlined and better costed. What you might be overlooking however is the emotional investment that others have made. There is the very real danger that your actions and apparently dispassionate approach, will cause someone to consider leaving a team when in fact the talents they bring to it, though unquantifiable, are very much needed.
Personal theme: I believe!!
Water sign: February 19 — March 20
Your horoscope for this week:
Usually you`re adept at overcoming obstacles, whether they`re practical or involve difficult individuals. Those you`re facing now, however, are forcing you to rethink your own plans. Some go back a long way, while others are more recent but, still, dear to your heart. In each case, however, it`s worth rethinking these, possibly in depth. The more you learn, the clearer this will be.
Wait a short while longer if you`re thinking about making new starts in any area. New information will come to light that will help you make an important decision. You will be glad you bided your time and didn`t do anything hasty. An older relative is upset over something that seems very trivial but you know how important this is to them. You`ve always been very sensitive and your compassionate approach to this matter will mean a lot to them.
It might seem that others are running around too fast and in danger of not paying attention to what really matters. A difficulty is that others might accuse you of doing exactly the same: it might seem that it`s you who`s over-reaching. In short, finding compromise could be something of a challenge. For your part, it might help if a time-line is in place. The only snag with this approach is that the pressure this puts certain individuals under could lead them to disease or other upset. At a different level entirely, you might already ready be dealing with the closure of a chapter in your own life journey. The clearing up process may be hard but should, perhaps, be accomplished before next week`s Full Moon. What`s interesting, is that discussions may be headed towards offering you an opportunity – perhaps for early September that would take you out of your present comfort zone. If you can be open to this and all the other challenges, then taking many short breaks this week – if only to maintain some kind of balance between your head and heart, would surely be wise.
