Lost-in-the-Dark Bells
Spell Date: Sunday, October 29, 2017

In some English villages, there are stories and legends (some true) that tell of people who were lost in the dark or fog and were steered away from falling off a cliff or ravine by the sound of church bells. To this day, bells are rung in honor of those people (who usually donated money, in gratitude, to the church). Today is one of those days.

Consider a time in your life when you were helped or guided to safety. Ring your own bells tonight—maybe someone will hear. If you don’t have a bell, make sound another way—with music, perhaps. Use this chant and visualize helping someone else or receiving guidance with a situation in which you feel lost:

“Lost, then found,
By the sound.
Guide me home
When I roam.
Hear the tone—
I’m not alone”

Pineapple Plant Protection
Spell Date: Saturday, October 28, 2017

Natives to the West Indies used to place pineapple plants in a protective living fence around their villages. Those leaves can be rather sharp, so they serve as a great natural barrier for predators. It’s very easy to obtain a start for your own plant— you simply need to buy a ripe pineapple plant at the grocery store. Make sure it still has the leaves attached.

Simply hack the leaves or crown off the top of the pineapple plant, removing any fruit that may still be attached to the base of the leaves. Stick toothpicks around the outside edge of the pineapple crown, near the base, and place in a small glass of water until it takes root. ( The toothpicks keep the greenery from dropping all the way down into the glass, where it will sit and rot.) After you have little roots started, simply plant the pineapple crown in a pot and leave in a sunny location. I’d recommend using a yellow or gold pot to up the protective factor. You’ll also need some potting soil, some gravel for drainage, and perhaps a suitable protective gemstone—maybe hematite.

As Fast as You Can
Spell Date: Friday, October 27, 2017

Not all of our autumnal urges are beneficial, but triggering imagined predatory fears, and learning to face them down while we exercise, is one therapeutically spooky way to teach our mind, body, and spirit how to thrive by working together uniformly, helping us to achieve our goals with good habits.

Bask in the light of the late afternoon along your favorite sunny walking trail. Confront your shadow self with conversations of gossip, fault, and failure. Then stop suddenly and run at your fastest speed toward the sun until you are nearly winded. Don’t look back. Stop just as suddenly and meditate quietly in the glow of the sunset. Feel your heart racing the darkness, sensing your heartbeat as you exercise awareness in the moment. Express gratitude for each one of your skills and abilities. Recite the following affirmation, as needed:

“Life, light, and spark, illuminate the dark.”

Mincemeat Day
Spell Date: Thursday, October 26, 2017

Today is Mincemeat Day. Originally this dish consisted of chopped meat, dried fruit, and copious spices. It used up shreds of meat and it preserved food. Over time, the amount of meat and suet decreased, so modern “mincemeat” may contain none at all, only fruits and other ingredients.

Celebrate this holiday by eating mincemeat, whether you buy a mince pie or make your own from scratch. If you can, choose one with actual meat. This is a way of honoring our ancestors and their ingenuity, which is what makes mincemeat pie traditional at major holidays such as Thanksgiving and Christmas or Yule. Before you cut the pie, take time to bless it:

“Scraps of meat and fat and fruit,
Frugal dish that’s made to suit.
From the past to future flow
Memories that touch and go
Through the sweet that we now see.
So eat up, and blessed be!”

Harvesting Your Project Garden
Spell Date: Wednesday, October 25, 2017

Hopefully all the projects you planted are complete (see May 9, June 25, and August 23). Goals you set for yourself in the spring are now matured. If you have followed through and worked your projects faithfully, you will have reached your goals. Congratulations!

Sometimes, though, you may not get exactly what you wanted. Maybe you got close to your goal, or maybe you forgot something. This should not deter you.

Take a break, assess the projects, and figure out why one was a success and another did not reach your goal. Remember, there is no failure. This is a learning process. You need to see what needs to be changed to make this “growing” spell work. Maybe better planning, maybe better tools. Or maybe the plan was not for you, and you need to review the entire project.

This process does work. It may just require some practice. Magic is a practice, and you can repeat this process as necessary.

Algiz Spell
Spell Date: Tuesday, October 24, 2017

The Nordic rune Algiz, a trident-shaped rune, is a warding and protective sign. It is also related to the plant world, as it may refer to elk sedge, which in the Anglo-Saxon Rune poem suggests that it is a plant that knows how to defend against intrusion. The Algiz rune can be drawn magically in the air to set a boundary or ward.

Ground and center; deepen into your magical state of mind. Begin in the east with the rising sun and begin to trace Algiz in the air while making the sound zzz and beholding the rune shining in flame or light. Move in a direction you find affirming of the creation of these wards and face the other directions to make a full circle. Do not forget to inscribe the rune above and below you as well. Earth the power.

Prosperity Pumpkin
Spell Date: Monday, October 23, 2017

In this week leading up to Halloween (Samhain), pumpkins seem to be everywhere. Here is some simple prosperity magic you can do with pumpkin seeds, whether they are picked up from the store or scooped out of your own jack-o’-lantern. Use the seeds that are still in the shell (roasted, if at home), since you are symbolically releasing the potential that is held within. Seeds are a nutritional powerhouse because much of the plant’s future energy is waiting inside them.

Place some pumpkin seeds in a small bowl and put them on your altar or do this outside under the moon. Light a green or orange candle. Eat a seed after each sentence.

“Prosperity is mine.
Success is mine.
Abundance is mine.
Multiplying like the seeds of the pumpkin.
Growing like the leaves and vines.
Releasing potential into my life.
Prosperity, success, and abundance are mine.
So mote it be.”

Ritual Honoring the Harvest’s End

At Samhain, the produce has been harvested and is being put away for winter.

Samhain represents, among other things, the end of the harvest season. If you haven’t picked it by Samhain, you probably won’t be eating it! The gardens have died off by now, and where we once saw lush green plants, there is nothing left but dry and dead stalks. The perennials have shut down for the season too, going dormant so that they may return to us in the spring. Animals are brought in from the fields for the winter — and if you’ve ever had a spider come wandering into your living room one chilly October night, you know that even the insects are trying to find a place to stay warm.

If we had lived a few hundreds of years ago, we would not only have brought our cows and sheep in from the pastures. Most likely we’d slaughter a few of them, as well as some pigs and goats, smoking or salting the meat so it would last through the cold months. Our grain that we picked back at Lughnasadh has been baked into bread, and all of our herbs have been gathered, and hang from the rafters in the kitchen. The harvest is over, and now it’s time to settle in for winter with the coziness of a warm fireplace, heavy blankets, and big pots of comfort food on the stovetop.

If you want to celebrate Samhain as the time of harvest’s end, you can do so as a single ritual, or as the first of three days of ceremony. If you don’t have a permanent altar in place, set up a table to leave in place for the three days prior to Samhain. This will act as a your family’s temporary altar for the Sabbat.
Here’s What You’ll Need

Decorate the altar with symbols of late fall, such as:

Skulls, skeletons, grave rubbings, ghosts
Harvest food such as pumpkins, squash, root vegetables
Nuts and berries, dark breads
Dried leaves and acorns
A cornucopia filled with an abundance of fruit and veggies
Mulled cider, wine, or mead

Hold Your Ritual

To begin your ceremony, prepare a meal for the family — and this is something that everyone can get involved in.

Put emphasis on fruits and vegetables, and wild game meat if available. Also make sure you have a loaf of a dark bread like rye or pumpernickel and a cup of apple cider or wine. Set the dinner table with candles and a fall centerpiece, and put all the food on the table at once. Consider the dinner table a sacred space.

Gather everyone around the table, and say:

Tonight is the first of three nights,
on which we celebrate Samhain.
It is the end of the harvest, the last days of summer,
and the cold nights wait on the other side for us.
The bounty of our labor, the abundance of the harvest,
the success of the hunt, all lies before us.
We thank the earth for all it has given us this season,
and yet we look forward to winter,
a time of sacred darkness.

Take the cup of cider or wine, and lead everyone outside. Make this a ceremonial and formal occasion. If you have a vegetable garden, great! Go there now — otherwise, just find a nice grassy spot in your yard. Each person in the family takes the cup in turn and sprinkles a little bit of cider onto the earth, saying:

Summer is gone, winter is coming.
We have planted and
we have watched the garden grow,
we have weeded,
and we have gathered the harvest.
Now it is at its end.

If you have any late-fall plants still waiting to be picked, gather them up now. Collect a bundle of dead plants and use them to make a straw man or woman. If you follow a more masculine path, he may be your King of Winter, and rule your home until spring returns. If you follow the Goddess in her many forms, make a female figure to represent the Goddess as hag or crone in winter.

Once that is done, go back inside and bring your King of Winter into your home with much pomp and circumstance. Place him on your table and prop him up with a plate of his own, and when you sit down to eat, serve him first. Begin your meal with the breaking of the dark bread, and make sure you toss a few crumbs outside for the birds afterwards. Keep the King of Winter in a place of honor all season long — you can put him back outside in your garden on a pole to watch over next spring’s seedlings, and eventually burn him at your Beltane celebration.

When you are finished with your meal, put the leftovers out in the garden. Wrap up the evening by playing games, such as bobbing for apples or telling spooky stories before a bonfire.

Heartwings Love Notes: 799 Weeds are Flowers Too

Heartwings says, “The beauty of weeds is more obvious when you look without prejudice.”

Each spring, whenever I walk through the series of parking lots across the street from my building, my eye is drawn to the weeds growing by the barrier between two of the lots. All year long I have watched them spring up, flower, go to seed and now succumb to the cold, their length still softening the hardness of the barrier they where they grow. I often also notice the weeds growing next to the concrete dividers on the highway. They struggle up through tiny cracks in the pavement, signaling the persistence of nature against human concretization.

Soon snow will fall and the remaining stalks, now sere and brown will still cast shadows on the snowfall, reminding me of the inevitability of spring. Despite the gardener’s dismay, weeds are flowers too. In addition to their roadsides beauty, their seeds feed birds and many of their roots and leaves are medicinal and even nourishing. Quantities of the weeds of today formed part of the diet of those who lived here before the Europeans arrived and some were even brought here by the early settlers who planted hem to harvest for food.

The virtues of a plant that we call a weed may be many. Now that I no longer have a garden I can appreciate their beauty even more. A weed is by definition something that grows wild, that grows where it has not been deliberately planted: an unwanted, uninvited guest in the garden. And in a metaphorical garden, weeds may be seen as the unwanted catalogues that keep arriving in the mail, the undesired emails that show up in my inbox, or even the telephone calls from those appealing to me to purchase from or donate to them.

How are these flowers in the garden of my life? Perhaps because as I eliminate them, they call me to pay better attention. I could also see them as helping me to be grateful that once they are gone I have more space and a better awareness of what I wish to keep for myself. These weeds are persistent in the gardens that we call our lives. However at least they do not require my bending over to remove them or to dig out their roots. As I appreciate the beauty of the actual weeds when I see them so too I can rejoice for that beauty that comes uninvited yet welcome to my view.

As you go about your day may you enjoy all kinds of beauty.

Blessings and best regards, Tasha Halpert

PS If you would like to, write and tell me about your ideas of beauty, especially that which is unexpected. It is always a joy to hear from readers.

Magee and the Haunted Mansion, 5

I growled and tried to make fierce. Nonetheless I was abruptly scooped up like a rag doll. I twisted my head around to look, but I couldn’t see anyone. Or maybe a ghost was carrying me. Marjorie had done something like that once when she rescued me from death after I was kidnapped.
But this wasn’t Marjorie. I was scared, but I was also a cop. I waited for a chance to escape. Who or whatever was carrying me moved through the darkness. The air was thick and musty, worse than the smell of the cigar stubs in Chief Mallory’s office. It was almost impossible for me to breathe.
For a moment I had the horrible feeling maybe I wasn’t alive anymore. But how could that be? I could still feel and think. Maybe that didn’t make any difference. Whoever said not being alive meant you couldn’t feel or think? Then I saw daylight ahead.
We emerged up a slope outside and beyond the ruined mansion. That’s when I saw the back of Chief Mallory’s cruiser, and knew where I was.
The invisible hands dropped me to the ground. I shook my head and panted for breath. Then I heard barking. That had to be another dog.
I barked too, loudly, hoping to be heard. Maybe Sippi would hear me too. Then a little black dog with floppy ears and a mangy smell ran up to me. She made soft whimpers, wagged her tail and gave me licks. Obviously she wanted to play. But what horrible timing. I’m a cop and the job comes first . I had ghosts to figure out and a crime to solve.
But she persisted. Her coat was dank and tangled with bits of weeds and dirt, But it would have been terribly impolite having just met, to tell her she needed a bath. She snuggled beside me licking, letting me know how glad she was to be with me.
I tried sending her visual messages the way Desdemona and I had in another case before she perished, but no such luck. Desdemona had had years of training in mind power and could read my mind.
Despite how she smelled I licked back. That encouraged even greater attention on her part, and in a most undignified though satisfying way we rolled around sniffing and licking one another as only two dogs getting to know each other could do.
Her barks conveyed that she had gotten separated from her owners. She had had to forage for whatever she could find to eat while avoiding coyotes and other horrible creatures. No wonder she was glad to have found me.
“Magee! Are you here?” Sippi voiced her concern and moments later I saw her coming toward us from the ruins. My new friend could too. She whimpered fearfully. I made soft sounds to assured her all was well.
“Well look at you two,” Sippi said gently. She turned to my new friend, “And who might you be?”
Raven and Chief Mallory arrived.
“Looks like Magee found himself a buddy,” Raven said. He grinned bent down to pet her, sniffed and backed off.
Sippi petted her and found her collar. “Don’t go letting his ways bother you,” Carefully she picked her up. “So your name’s Blackie,” Sippi said. She looked at Mallory and Raven. “Just her name engraved in a small silver heart, no town tag.”
“Sherlock make another find?” Chief Mallory said. He looked at Blackie. “Must be a stray. We can take her to the pound.”
Raven looked at her more carefully. My guess is she’s a purebred long hair with a pedigree.”
“Who needs a bath,” Sippi added. “You poor baby, you must be famished.” She reached into her bag and took out two of my spicy shrimp balls. Then she gently fed them to Blackie, who gobbled them up. I didn’t mind sharing.
Mallory huffed. “Go ahead mollycoddle her just like you do Magee.”
Glad Sippi liked her as much as I did, I wagged my tail. She fed Blackie two more shrimp balls. I whimpered and managed to get one for me.
“From what I can tell,” Raven said, “looks like she and Magee could be an item. He’s willing to share his treats. That right there is huge.”
I barked and wagged my tail. Then Blackie and I ran ahead back to the slope where the invisible hands had put me down after bringing me back outside.
“Looks like some sort of underground passage, ” Chief Mallory looked pleased. “Good for you Sherlock. This is how you got out.” He grinned. “Knowing you, you found a way. ”
He opened his device. “Send the crime lab boys. We’ve found a hidden entrance to the mansion.”
I stayed by Blackie to protect her. I kept projecting to Sippi that I wanted her to stay with us and not to be left at the pound.
Sippi turned to Raven. “You always said you wanted a dog. Now’s your chance.”
Raven gulped. “But Sippi I’m never home. She’d be much better off with you and Magee. He certainly seems to like her.”
Sippi’s eyes widened. “Raven one of these days you’ll take some responsibility.” Her voice was flat. “One of these days when you grow up and wear long pants.”
“Please Sippi,” he protested. I’m a special agent for the FBI. Always on the go. There’s no room in my life.”
“If there’s room for me, sweetheart there’s room for her,” Sippi’s voice stayed flat.
“But you’re self sufficient. You can take care of yourself. I don’t need to walk you.”
“Think of us as a package deal, Raven.”
“That’s blackmail and you know it.”
“Sometimes Raven you’re as romantic as a bedbug.”
Sippi picked up Blackie, nuzzled her, sniffed. “You really need a bath beautiful and maybe a nail trim too. You could use one too Magee. Time we stopped at the puppy spa. We’ll go on the way home.”

Crystals Associated with Cleansing

The mere fact that crystals are placed in an environment suggests to the subconscious mind that healing, on some subliminal level, has already begun. When crystals are placed in a room, they will automatically charge that area with energy.
They will also absorb and ionize that energy in the area, which is negative. The clearing, focusing, radiating beauty aspects of a crystal, work regardless if someone is aware of these traits or not. These are the amazing elements of a crystal’s power. To disperse this energy outward is one of its true gifts. It is even more astonishing when we are aware of it!
Choosing a place for your crystals can be done by using your instincts, placing them in your meditation room, alter or sacred space, or placing them in a room that you can benefit from their metaphysical properties.
Cleansing your crystals can be done by placing a teaspoon of sea salt into a bowl of luke warm water. Make sure the salt is dissolved, then place your crystals in the water for twenty four hours. Find more about cleansing your crystals here.
Below you will find crystals that are used to clear an environment:
Amber is used to clear the energy in any environment. This ancient petrified resin (possibly pine tree)has electromagnetic properties. Great for past life work and weight gain. Opens solar plexus chakra for mental clarity. Excellent detoxification and protection from radiation, especially x-rays, sun, computers, airport, planes and others’ energies. Can add stability to your life. Helpful in clearing up depression and bringing about a positive mental state. Also useful as a memory aid. Amber should be cleansed after being used for healing to dispense the negative energy it has absorbed.
Known as the natural detoxer, this crystal has been used for centuries for addiction, better sleep and for purifying the energy around someone who has negative thoughts or actions. Amethyst is a deep violet, which resonates beautifully with the Third Eye Chakra and Crown Chakra. It’s Universal energy is considered a hierarchy of pure resonating molecules of quartz and iron. This is a stone of transformation, spirituality and dream recall. Amethyst promotes inner peace.
Clear Quartz
Clear Quartz is thought to amplify both body energy and thoughts. It can assist in the creation of power, clarity of thinking, meditation, cleansing, clearing the aura, spiritual development and healing. Quartz Points are considered the “stone of power”.
This crystal is the most recommended stone for grounding and is associated with the Root Chakra, by encourages ones survival instincts and is centering. Hematite condenses scattered feelings, turns fuzziness into mental clarity, enhances concentration, memory, practicality, helps those who study, do bookkeeping, detailed work and helps with sound sleep. Hematite is known to deflect negativity. It restores equilibrium, stability and is also used for astral protection. It brings our awareness back to the body and helps one maintain their sense of self. Use this stone to clear other stones of negative energy. Place a handful of hematite in a bowl and place the crystals you want cleansed on top of them for 24 hours.
Herkimer Diamond
This is a brilliant form of quartz that allows for clear thinking. It promotes detoxification, psychic clarity, spiritual visions and connections and opens the Chakra. These clear crystals closely resemble diamonds but, are really Quartz. This stone helps you choose a direction to follow that will offer the path of least resistance. They contain a store of ecological memory that can be utilized by a person who can tune into the energy. Can also guide you in remembering your own past-life experiences.
Swarovski Crystal
This is a magnificent faceted crystal, which will fill your any room with rainbows! Austrian crystals are one of the principal objects used to clear energy blockages in the ancient Chinese art of placement. Place in window or an area where light will hit and refract into beautiful rainbows!

1. It is important to cleanse your stones and crystals in the proper way (see link above)
2. Utilize them in a loving and respectful way.
3. Hold the crystals up to heart level. With your deep and sincere intention, state your purpose for your stones and what you wish of them.
4. Use one stone to carry with you to cleanse and sense the space around you.
Use two crystals in any room that you wish a relationship to be cleansed, cleared and strongly defined.
Use three crystals as a Holy Trinity to bless a space. Place them on your altar, in your meditation room. front door or any space that is Sacred to you.
Use four crystals as a box or “square of protection” in the four corners of your house or one room. Place them around your home on the four corners of the outside of your house.
Use five or more crystals to create a circle. One of the most powerful shapes in the Universe, a circle is a bond or never-ending connection to entice good energy in and negative energy away.
5. Use a stone in the center of the circle as a Master Stone. This master stone is a crystal you chose according to its metaphysical properties and how it can help you. For healing, initiate a cleansing or blessing by writing a person’s name on a piece of paper. Place the paper under your Master Stone in the center of your circle. You can state your intention by either speaking it, saying a prayer or asking the Universe for exactly what you want done to help this person cleanse their energy/spirit/consciousness.
6. The wonderful thing about crystals is that they are there to support a situation or healing practice. You embody them with an intention or purpose, state the intention and then let it go. It is the Universe that does the rest. And remember, it does this on Universal time (not your time!) So, be patient.
7. When you are finished with your task, be sure to cleanse your crystals so that they are ready for the next use.

A Self-Healing Day
By Madisyn Taylor

A beautiful gift to yourself is a day of healing and nourishing just for you.
Human beings carry within themselves the seed of healing. Our choices affect us more than we realize, and it is because of this that we tend to place responsibility for our wellness in the hands of others. As beneficial as regular visits to a healer can be, we have the power to heal ourselves at will. When we dedicate a day to the pursuit of wellness, we can relax and renew ourselves in a nourishing and comfortable environment. A sincere desire to open ourselves to the highest realities of our physical and spiritual selves is the key to self-healing so that healing energy can flow into us unimpeded.

A self-healing day should address the vital needs of the self as a whole while directing healing energy where it is needed most. Solitude is an important part of the process as is the ability to take refuge in a space that is both beautiful and peaceful. Start your healing day by setting the intention that you are dedicating this time to healing yourself. Flowers, candlelight, incense, and music can guide our focus toward a more tranquil state. For a more intense session, try listening to music through headphones since tuning out can help you tune in. It is up to us to decide what we need to do to cultivate wellness in our lives. For some, it may be time spent in reflection. Others will turn to calming activities that help them remember their purpose, such as journal writing, being in nature, or studying. Our healing may even take a more direct form as we use color, sound, or crystals to balance and ground ourselves.

Ultimately, your wholesome intentions transform what might otherwise be a simple day of rest into a day of healing. Grant yourself permission to relax and savor the stillness. If you attune yourself to the calm around you, worldly distractions will be minimized and the unadulterated flow of your consciousness will reestablish itself in the forefront of your mind. The needs of the body, the heart, and the soul will then be revealed to you, empowering you to tap into the essential healing energy of the universe. The mechanism you use to channel this energy will be dependent on your shifting requirements, so each day of healing you enjoy will be unique. All will replenish you, however, allowing you to recreate yourself in a perfect image of health.

If you`re born within cusp period (16 to 26 of any month); you`re advised to read horoscopes of both signs covered by that period. You`re in the border; you may have influences from houses within those signs.

Outlines are longer versions; consists of every possible detail of everyday and based on three parts of each sign: 1st, 2nd & 3rd Decan; that is, any of three divisions of 10° within a sign of the zodiac. Even if you know or don`t know your Decan; I recommend, please read all three Decan.

Personal theme: I am!!
Fire & cardinal sign: March 21 — April 19

Your horoscope for this week:

Mercury leaves another of the Mars-ruled signs, Scorpio, next weekend – just after the Full Moon (4th). This gives you seven more days to complete an investigation. True, you could hit an administrative brick wall mid-week. This though you could negotiate with charm. Don`t forget that you are an asset to many. Though some might imply that they could do things without you, that`s unlikely to be the case. Indeed, it may be clear by Friday that you are integral to plans and that in fact, any charm offensive should be mounted on you rather than by you. It might even be that an interesting career proposition is put to you by Friday and that this would give you a stake in as yet unrealised plans. This should give you opportunity to explore your creative side. Do this before the Full Moon if you can.

Personal theme: I have!!
Earth & fixed sign: April 20 — May 20

Your horoscope for this week:

Mercury leaves your opposite sign next weekend just after the Full Moon in your sign. For this, and a variety of other reasons, these next seven days should put prove perfect for researching the viability of a working partnership. By early next week you may be ready to sign long-term contracts. Before getting it into this however, a thorough appraisal of the costs of all kinds will surely be imperative. Saturn is now transiting the very last degrees of Sagittarius and will move into Earth sign Capricorn in December. Before it makes that move, you could face restriction either through international rules or higher education regulations. It may be necessary to take quick action – not perhaps your usual style before Friday. By doing so however you could save costs long-term. Midst all this, you may have reason to be grateful to Pisces who, on this occasion shows excellent organisational skills which then enable you to complete a task slightly ahead of time.

Personal theme: I think!!
Air sign: May 21 — June 20

Your horoscope for this week:

The focus is very clearly on administration. Before Mercury enters your opposite sign in a weeks` time it`s surely imperative that you understand exactly the nature of the tasks you are delegating. It may be that these could be done more efficiently. It might also be pointed out that you are perhaps not the best qualified to make certain decisions. Taking time to listen to other approaches, – especially on Monday and Tuesday – and then giving these a try would surely be a wise investment of time. Though it might seem to you that a certain person, (possibly a Virgo or Pisces) is not explaining their ways of working well, you`d perhaps agree before Friday that there is method in their operation. What should be clear by Saturday`s Full Moon is that it`s simply imperative that you delegate some tasks and then not interfere. Indeed, it`s possibly the case that at least one working partnership came unstuck because you did not give someone leeway to do things their way.

Personal theme: I feel!!
Water & cardinal sign: June 21 — July 22

Your horoscope for this week:

The two planets, Jupiter and Pluto arrive at very special aspect next Friday – just ahead of the Full Moon. It may be that this has singular impact on a partner or close working colleague`s life. This in turn could improve the quality of your own. Since May you have probably made many new connections – which a year ago would have been unthinkable. These too seem ready to move to new flat platform. Your professionalism might well be enhanced. Certainly, as Mercury begins its annual transit of the working zone of your solar chart from next week, it`s probable that you`ll arrive at the end of one routine and be looking forward to the opening of another. True, Mars continues (until December 9th) to cross the base of your solar chart. Though obviously much depends on your personal chart, there`s high probability of you doing more work from home – but that by increasing your productivity here, you will make clear just how important you are to a team.

———— ———– ———- ——— ——– ——- —— —– —- — — –

Personal theme: I will!!
Fire & fixed sign: July 23 — August 22

Your horoscope for this week:

It really is time to think differently: a fact that might be brought home to you by Friday`s First Quarter Moon. If you`ve (understandably) spent the last few months focused on one issue, it`s arguably time to turn attention to other matters: priority being a working partnership that`s in sore need of attention. It may be that further investment of time and money is involved. Yet you might also be asked to consider a move (property). With two other slow-moving planets waiting to change signs (Saturn and Uranus), the time might not be right to make that final decision. That said, determining what would and would not be acceptable is surely imperative and could form the cornerstone to decision-making. Midst all this, don`t forget to arrange routine health check-ups: reconnecting with a health professional might even prove a rewarding experience.

———— ———– ———- ——— ——– ——- —— —– —- — — –

Personal theme: I analyse!!
Earth sign: August 23 — September 22

Your horoscope for this week:

Mars now moves into one of the key financial sectors of your solar chart. The `red` planet`s action here usually heats up the cash flow and yes, you might need to watch the pennies or cents carefully over the next six weeks. How much you spend on travel could be an issue. Equally, you might exceed a book-budget. Yet you might feel compelled to make these investments. You might also find that others are talking about you – perhaps with a view to finding you a `better` role. It doesn`t necessarily follow that you`ll change job before early 2018 – though it is likely that focus will shift. You may also find that you`re asked to help someone who`s having difficulty with their studies. Those with children could find this a demanding period – perhaps because their needs require you to be more involved in their education.

———— ———– ———- ——— ——– ——- —— —– —- — — –

Personal theme: I balance!!
Air & cardinal sign: September 23 — October 22

Your horoscope for this week:

You might not wish to hear this, but it`s very likely that you will make a major decision before next Saturday`s Full Moon (Nov 4th). Clearly, elements of that decision will be linked to your personal chart. It`s probable though, that this will require considerable investment of your time and money. There might also be a timeline involved. Moving things forward at speed between now and the middle of November ought not to be too hard however. Indeed, by the time the Moon arrives in your sign on 14th, you could achieve much. This week, foundations should be laid. In putting together, a firm and workable plan, you position yourself well for being `off to the races` as of next Monday. With the support of an expert, someone older or a Sagittarius, refining your goal and agreeing a schedule should prove relatively easy. As much attention however might need to be given to a celebration planned for the Full Moon and which gives you pause to ponder the last decade and how you`ve dealt with the various challenges within that time. It`s this that could be the spur to making that key decision mentioned at the start. Perhaps you`ve waited long enough?

———— ———– ———- ——— ——– ——- —— —– —- — — –

Scorpio & Ophiuchus
Personal theme: I desire!!
Water & fixed signs: October 23 — November 21

Your horoscope for this week:

Until the Full Moon in your opposite sign next Saturday (Nov 4th) Mercury moves with the Sun and Jupiter in your sign. Your ability to influence will surely be considerable. At a meeting midweek it might be necessary to remind others both of their obligations and the restrictions placed by international rules and regulations. This is not to say that you won`t also be creative. Indeed, by Friday, you could demolish one argument and put in place a marketing distributing plan that`s innovative and ahead of its time. You could also make singular gain at the end of this week – coming to the notice of someone who`s only recently realised how much they need your support. Note that this Full Moon is the annual one in your opposite sign: highlighting the differences between you and others but, also and importantly, how you complement one another. The power of an alliance should be all too obvious to others before the end of this week.

———— ———– ———- ——— ——– ——- —— —– —- — — –

Personal theme: I see!!
Fire sign: November 22 — December 21

Your horoscope for this week:

Saturn leaves your sign on December 20th. Its position relative to both the Sun and Mercury at the beginning of November, and within range of Saturday`s Full Moon suggests you may have come to the end of a phase. A key decision might need to be taken. This could have as much relevance to your physical well-being as to your emotional state. It`s entirely possible that you will have something to celebrate next Friday. This is perhaps linked to a younger colleague`s success. Although it`s next Monday before Mercury moves into your sign – and then when you`re most likely to get your voice heard, you could nevertheless have significant impact on decision-making this week. It may be that a colleague born under Libra is particularly appreciative of your support and wisdom. It`s also likely that before the end of this week attention will need to be given to inheritance or tax planning.

———— ———– ———- ——— ——– ——- —— —– —- — — –

Personal theme: I use!!
Earth & cardinal sign: December 22 — January 19

Your horoscope for this week:

The night before next Saturday`s Full Moon (Nov 4th), Jupiter will be exactly a fifth of a circle away from Pluto – presently passing through your sign. These two points of a very special star suggest a turning point for all signs but, in your case, a moment of empowerment. You may find that you are `mentioned in dispatches`. It might also be suggested that you take someone under your wing and perhaps offer them training. This though may not be part of your masterplan. You may have rather more concern about developing your own expertise. Mid-week, discussions with those who could smooth this path could lead to agreement. Home-study might be suggested. Developments on the home front – perhaps with regard to an event planned for the weekend – are likely require particular consideration. Considerable planning may be required and lead you to visit both shops and areas with which you`re unfamiliar.

———— ———– ———- ——— ——– ——- —— —– —- — — –

Personal theme: I know!!
Air & fixed sign: January 20 — February 18

Your horoscope for this week:

Though it`s mid-November before your two ruling planets (Saturn and Uranus) arrive at a key aspect – bringing out with it the possibility of gain and recognition, it may be obvious by next Saturday`s Full Moon (Nov 4th) that you`ve arrived at a career turning point. Though you may not have exactly the right qualifications for a new role, it may be that your experience is such that you`re considered. It`s probable that your particular way of looking at issues offers the perfect kind of clarity – and hence might offer a solution to an issue faced by someone who feels they don`t have the necessary resources to meet demand. This could play out on the financial stage. It`s as likely however that this will be as much about finding optimum ways of harnessing natural talents. A hobby looks set to attract attention but require extra care – and discussion with an older relative – before you can move to its next phase.

———— ———– ———- ——— ——– ——- —— —– —- — — –

Personal theme: I believe!!
Water sign: February 19 — March 20

Your horoscope for this week:

Before next Saturday`s Full Moon (Nov 4th) two extra-special aspects take place. Both involve one of your ruling planets. There`s high probability of a sea change in your affairs. Though you could experience restriction mid-week, and indeed be exasperated by the amount of paperwork that is generated, you might also know that these are hurdles that have to be negotiated before you can move on. Recall that Jupiter has only recently entered another of the Water signs, Scorpio. Its presence here should put you at an advantage. It may be possible to attract precisely the right type of expertise for present needs. Though the focus is likely to be on financial matters, it`s worth noting that networking opportunities should be given as much attention. Indeed, it may be that through a piece of classic research you`re tipped off about an option that you`d considered `not possible` but which could be exactly right for the next stage of your career.
