Magick in the Morning
Spell Date: Sunday, July 9, 2017

Draw upon the energy of the full moon to bless you on your journey and help you fulfill your destiny. Step into your power. Activate your faith. Call upon the Goddess to assist you in whatever you seek to achieve. Know it. Believe it!

Gather some salt, a white candle, a white sage bundle, and a small glass or tea cup. Fill your cup or glass with about a half cup of water. Find a quiet place where you will not be disturbed.

Add three pinches of salt to the water. Turning clockwise, sprinkle the saltwater in a circle around you. Light the white candle. Pass the smudge bundle through the flame and allow the smoke to pass over and around you. Say:

“Blessed moon, full and bright,
Shining in the morning light.
Light my path both day and night,
Be a guide unto me.
Three times three I thank thee.”

Pinch out the candle and snuff out the sage bundle. Go forth and know that it is so.

Bathtub Renewal Spell
Spell Date: Saturday, July 8, 2017

Sometimes life can get overwhelming and everything can seem impossible. Break the cycle of negativity, renew your spirits, and lift the fog from your vision with this bathtub renewal spell. You will need one handful each of sea salt, lavender, and hyssop, as well as a piece of red ribbon and optional candles for ambiance.

Light your candles, then tie the ribbon around your bathtub faucet and say:

Red like the root and the seat of flame, empower the wild spirit now tame!

Draw your bath and cast the salt and herbs into the water and say:

By earth and herb and goddess waters, I conjure now the sacred well! Mother, renew me and break these chains. Heal me, bless me, and lift me from hell! So must this be!

Heal a Friendship
Spell Date: Friday, July 7, 2017

Every relationship hits a rough patch now and then, and usually those involved are able to work things out. However, it never hurts to have a little help, especially when it’s a particularly difficult rough patch.

Write the name of you and your friend on a slip of paper, then rip it in two and tape the pieces back together. Place it on your altar in front of a pink candle and put a piece of rose quartz on top of the paper. State your intention of having the friendship mended, then light the candle and allow it to burn down. Pick up the phone or log in to social media and contact your friend.

Destroy a Bad Habit Spell
Spell Date: Thursday, July 6, 2017

This spell uses the power of a July thunderstorm to help destroy a bad habit. If you know that a thunderstorm is approaching, gather these spell materials:

* A sheet of paper
* A pen
* A flowerpot or an old dish
* Some garden soil

Write your habit on the paper. Crumple the paper and tear it up. Then place the torn-up paper in the flowerpot or dish. Cover the paper with a layer of the soil. As the storm moves in closer, place the flowerpot or dish outside in an open area. Let the power of nature do the work for you.

After the storm, the soil in your flowerpot or dish should be muddy. Take the pot or dish to a secluded spot. Now you may simply dump the mud and paper on the ground, bury it, or put it in a compost pile. The habit will fade.

Recover From Divorce
Spell Date: Wednesday, July 5, 2017

It can be very hard to heal from a divorce or separation, even when a couple knows it’s right to split. Perform this spell for yourself or another.

The couple was like two peas in a pod. Find a large pea pod.

Place the pea pod on your altar. Burn lavender incense. Pray to the Goddess for healing for the couple.

Use water (water), salt (earth), incense (air), and a candle (fire) on your altar to represent the elements. Touch the pea pod to each, saying:

“By (water/earth/air/fire) do I bless this couple, (names of couple).”

Split the pod and take out two large peas. Consecrate one pea, touching it to each element as you say:

“By (water/earth/air/fire) do I bless (name of first person). S/he is whole and alone. S/he is at peace apart from (name of second person).”

Then do the same for the second pea.

Bury the peas in separate holes in the earth. Healing will be gradual— as the peas return to earth, healing will succeed.

Lady Liberty
Spell Date: Tuesday, July 4, 2017

The Roman Goddess Libertas became Lady Liberty during the American and French Revolutions and is the subject of numerous nineteenth-century paintings. Her most famous incarnations are the bronze statue commissioned in 1855 for the top of the Capitol Building in Washington, DC, where she stands, hardly visible, to this day; and “Liberty Enlightening the World,” which we commonly call the Statue of Liberty. She was a gift from France on the occasion of America’s centennial. She holds a book in one arm and with her other hand raises a torch, a common symbol of truth and purification through illumination.

If you don’t already own a miniature of the Statue of Liberty, buy one and set her on your altar. Before you go to your Fourth of July picnic, contemplate these words of George Washington: “Observe good faith and justice toward all nations. Cultivate peace and harmony with all.”

Polar Opposites
Spell Date: Monday, July 3, 2017

On six small pieces of white paper, write your current struggles. Then, on six equal-sized pieces of black paper, write the things that you feel grateful for. Place each piece of paper into a molded portion of an ice cube tray. Fill each section containing white paper with cold saltwater and the sections containing black paper with warm honey water.

Enchant the spell with the following affirmation from the Tao Te Ching:

“There is no greater misfortune than not knowing what is good enough, no greater flaw than always wanting more and more. Whoever knows contentment is blissful at all times.”

When you are ready, carefully place the tray in the freezer to chill. Later, gather the cubes in a towel and dump them on your front step. Leave them to melt in the heat of the day. Any papers that remain will provide divinatory insight revealing the predominant energy and offering spiritual confirmation.

Heartwings Love Notes 784: Tidying Up the Piles
Heartwings says, “What is tidy to one is messy to another and vice versa.”

I remember vowing as a child that I would never have piles around my house the way my parents did. As I visualize my parents home, I can clearly see the little stacks of unread papers here and there, along with the mail that needed to be answered, the notes on stray bits of paper about phone calls or things that were important or that needed to be done. Then too there were the little piles of items that had not yet been put back where they belonged.

Sometimes these piles would sit for a long time, probably because my parents had gotten used to them being there. However my father liked to entertain and the house nearly always got picked up just before the guests arrived. That meant the piles would suddenly migrate elsewhere or possibly be distributed somewhere they actually did belong. It’s only fair to say that my mother had plenty to do with caring for my three siblings and me so it’s no wonder there was little time left for tidying.

I have no excuse for my piles. However, I have noticed that one good way, perhaps the best one to get tidied up is to invite someone over-especially someone who may not know us very well and upon whom we wish to make a good impression. This is wonderful motivation to redistribute the piles and get things cleaned up. It is also true that tidying up may help me to find things that have been lost or misplaced. I really do like to keep things in good order, however, like my parents I fear I have the same attitude that promoted their piles. “I’ll just put it here for the time being until I have time to put it away.”

My desk is a good example of my doing that. For several weeks I have promised myself I will tidy it. The last time I did I found an overdue bill I hadn’t paid. The strange thing is I thought I had, and in fact even had a distinct memory of paying it. I suppose I need a better place to put the unpaid bills. Or else I might pay them as soon as they come in. But then something more immediate takes precedence over what I intend to do and things get disorganized. I fully intend to get that desk organized very soon, however, I have these deadlines to meet and so I’ll do it soon, very soon, but not just now.

May you deal with your tidying as best you can, and rejoice in the results.
Blessings and best regards, Tasha Halpert

Stephen Halpert
Man’s Best Friend

We were walking on the beach at Brandt Rock, enjoying the warm, late afternoon sun when an Irish Setter bolted up to us. Wriggling all over, he greeted us like long lost friends, his wet sandy tail wagging against our legs. Reluctantly I patted him and he bounded about, ears flapping.
“See, you have a natural affinity for dogs.” Tasha laughed tousling his ears. The overgrown puppy slobbered joyfully on her leg.
“Doesn’t mean I want one for my own,” I said. Would she ever stop trying to bring a canine monster into the tranquility of our lives?
“You had a dog once as a boy, didn’t you? she asked. For some reason known only to him, the setter began digging and we moved away from the flying sand.
“A dachshund,” I said remembering Rusty. “An overly temperamental and not especially friendly puppy with more papers than he knew what to do with. He didn’t last long in our household. To this day I can remember my mother’s face as he casually pooped on the front hall carpet just after my father and I had walked him around the neighborhood for what seemed like the better part of an hour. He did this several more times and within two weeks he was back at the kennel.”
“That’s terrible,” Tasha sighed. “You must have felt very sad indeed.” She bent down and picked a feather from the sand. “How pretty,” she said.
“Actually it came as a great relief,” I said, remembering my age and inclinations then. “I was just reaching that time of life when a boy begins to notice girls, and caring for a dog seemed like a big bother.”
The setter cavorted about our feet giving us his best won’t-you-play-with-me looks. When we ignored him, he turned and bounded into the waves splashing and frolicking.
“Maybe now it would be different, especially if you had a pet Dachshund,” she said.
I smiled. The thought of having a dog struck a vague though receptive chord somewhere in my heart. “I guess if we got an older dog, one that was already housebroken and would appreciate watching football games with me on Sunday afternoons.” I smiled at the thought: “Perhaps a retired champion who liked to laze about on the couch, nibbling at gourmet bones.”
Tasha stopped and turned to face me. “On our new couch! You’d allow a dog to jump up on our furniture?” She peered at me, her eyes narrowed. Obviously I’d said the wrong thing.
“Well if he were a member of the family I don’t see why not.”
She took a deep breath and sighed. “You probably don’t realize this, however if we did get a Dachshund you’d have to brush his teeth everyday as well as keep his toenails clipped. Remember the show we saw on TV about that breed?”
I stopped and looked at her. “Brush his teeth? And if I didn’t, we’d have to pay money to a dog dentist?”
She shrugged. “Well of course, but that’s part of what goes with having a dog.”
We started walking again, scuffing through the warm sand. “What if he needed a root canal or even a partial? That kind of stuff can really be expensive. No way do I want to spend our hard earned money on dog dentures.”
She smiled. “And don’t forget, they said on the show that their toenails grow very quickly and can be painful for them if not regularly clipped.” She put her hand in mine. “But when you love your pet surely the expense of a weekly pedicure for it is unimportant.”
“To you maybe!” I said. “I can think of better ways to spend money. I’d rather buy interesting clocks or old books and post cards.”
She looked at me and smiled. “But you can’t take an old book out for a walk,” she said, “or commune with it in nature.”
“Of course I can. I can go sit under an apple tree and read a good mystery for hours without ever having to worry about paying for it to have a root canal. Personally rather than a dog, I think man’s best friend is a good book.”
She sighed. “I have to say I’m a bit disappointed.” She paused and looked at me. “But I’d like to feel you had a friend to play with, especially if I’m away traveling without you. Then I’d know you weren’t lonely.”
“You’d get all up tight if I let him jump on the couch or even for that matter sleep on our bed.”
Her voice took on a different, firmer tone. “I don’t want a dog sleeping in our bedroom, let alone on our bed. Dog hair all over the blankets! The dander! The smell! And what about your allergies? No, a dog’s place is in the kitchen. That’s the way my parents did it. ” She frowned and wrinkled her nose. ” Pet hair all over the bed!”
“That seems really unfair and restrictive.” I said in defense of the dog we didn’t and most likely wouldn’t ever have. “How could you do that to someone you love?”
“Never mind,” she said. “Maybe I’ll enroll you in a book club instead. That way you’ll have friends and I’ll save myself a lot of vacuuming.”
Just then the Irish setter bounded back out of the waves and ran up to us. With what I can only describe as a mischievous doggy grin, he shook himself hard, sending salt water and sand all over the two of us. I heard a distant whistle, and he raced away over the beach. Tasha and I looked at each other. “Yes,” she said, a nice book club.”

Unreasonable Fears and Jet

Jet is a form of petrified wood similar to coal, though much harder. This stone has absorbing qualities. Helps draw out negative energy. Especially useful for people who have unreasonable fears that limit their lives. Therefore, that is why this black stone, it relates to the Root Chakra, the center that connects us to our earth energy. The Root chakra is connected to survival and our trust in the physical world, and in one’s own body. Recommended for stimulating psychic experience and guiding one in the quest for spiritual enlightenment. If worn, it should be set in silver.

Jet has been used as a protective stone in life’s physical journeys. It’s known as a traveler’s amulet, and the wives of sailors often burnt it to protect their husbands while they were at sea. Jet has been known historically, to also protect from scorpions and snake bites, especially when the stone is wore over the heart. Jet has been used to help soothe the pain of both a broken heart due to separation or the loss or death of a relative or loved one. In the past, this protection stone has been used to ward against enemies, evil spirits, witchcraft and harmful magic spells.

Folk Remedies: Helps control mood swings and fights deep depression. Jet is a very light weight stone. This stone helps one to realize how life’s burdens can be “light weight” if we allow them to be. “Lifting the weight off your shoulders” is the goal of this stone. The main physical ailments that have been treated by Jet are arthritis and inflammation of the joints. Jet has also been used to treat bronchitis, colds and flu and headaches.

Feng Shui: Use this stone in the Center area for calming and harmony, in the South for enlightening, in the North for personal journeys or Northeast in order to help with self cultivation.

Crystal Cleansing: This stone should be cleansed in dry sea salt one night and on rock crystal the next. Do not cleanse or charge this stone in sunlight or in water. If you prefer not to use dry sea salt, you can cleanse this stone, or any other crystal by passing it through wafting incense.

History: Jet is a (C) carbon based stone. Jet is actually of plant based materials compressed over time. This “low grade” form of coal, called lignite getting its name from the Latin word, lignum meaning wood. Jet has a close relationship to amber, both mineralogically and energetically. As they both come from being fossilized from resin. Often considered the black amber, this stone when rubbed with a cloth, will build up an electrical charge, attracting pieces of dust or paper, similar to amber. This stone has a long history of use. It was often associated with protection in the afterlife among both the Egyptian and Pueblo people. This stone can be traced back to the ancient times when the Romans mined this stone from Asia Minor in a town referred to as Gagates and the river Gagas Jet was used for ornamentation since the Bronze Age. Mined in the area of York, England since 1500 B.C.E used for jewelry. Used in throughout Spain and Europe for jewelry and talisman, Jet was carved into rosary beads and religious sculptures. It is used as a protective stone in the North American Indian culture. It was shaped into prayer beads and is still used for religious purpose by those of several Native American cultures. If worn, it should be set in silver.

Therapies for healing

Red Stones for Summer

Red is the color of summer. In many traditional cultures, red is the
color, which represents the element of fire, the color of the summer
season and of greatest Yang. The weather and seasons have an affect
on our energy and therefore, the energy around us. Elements made by
fire, such as obsidian and hematite can also work in place of red
stones, but today, my emphasis is on the energy of the following:

Red represent love and help the aspirant to strive for improvement
in moral conduct. Square-cut Garnets help bring about business
opportunities and filter out concerns that are not one’s own.
Rectangular shapes aid in the matter of intellect or the earth.
Garnets teach patience and constancy and are not to be used lightly.
They develop love and compassion. They sharpen self-perception and
extend that openness to others. Help calm anger, particularly
anger directed towards the self.

Rose Quartz
When we love ourselves it’s amazing how much love we will receive
from others. When we don’t it’s astonishing how little the love of
others makes an impact. Rose quartz helps to remove the energetic
blockages in the heart chakra which keep us from truly loving
ourselves, and also nurtures and replenishes our sense of self-love.
Soft. Gently soothes and warms heart center. Emotional healing,
loss, stress, hurt, fear, low confidence, resentment, anger.
Slowly eases childhood traumas/neglect/lack of love, low self-esteem.
Cleanse and recharge often. Especially if fades. Aligns mental,
emotional, and astral bodies. Deeply in tune with emotional
states. Found in the US, Brazil, and Japan. Its value as a
nurturing friend cannot be overstated. A soothing influence.
Helps diffuse negative stimuli and uncomfortable memories.
Helps us discover the ability to love ourselves and makes us
more open to other people. It is of particular value in helping
us to forgive ourselves, hastening self-acceptance. Helps us
realize that all change is important, even difficult change.
Stimulates love and tender appreciation of all things.
Advantageous for the heart and circulatory systems. Also helps
the cleansing organs. The reproductive organs may become healthier.

Pink Tourmaline
While rose quartz prepares the ground for the expression of
love in the outer world, pink tourmaline activates that expression.
This crystal also helps us to review and release past experiences
when our attempts to love others seemed to fail. Its message is,
“It’s safe to love.” Emotional and spiritual love, healing loss,
emotional pain, fear, self-gentleness (especially with severe
illness like cancer, emphysema). Best in combination with
counseling. Most powerful together with Kunzite or Rhodocrosite.
Self-love, compassion, release of old hurt. Trust. Also Rubellite.
Red (Rubellite) strengthens, grounds/rejuvenates, warms. Unites
heart and body for love, courage, passion, energy, stamina,
steadiness. High Lithium content (thus pink/red color) brings
emotional balance, lovingness, devotion in a down-to-earth way.
Balances body’s electrochemistry. Heart and Root Chakra. Helps
detach from personal pain. Releases reproductive, blocks;
stimulates fertility. Used to strengthen and detox blood and
immune system and to ease radiation effects. Yang.

Solid to clear pink. Gentle, yet probably the most vibrant
loving stone to heal the Heart Chakra, especially for giving/
receiving love. “Stone of Love and Balance”. Also for loneliness,
loss, heartache, fear, insecurities, inner-child issues, abuse,
incest…Helps self-forgiveness, deservingness and trust issues,
spiritual-and self-love, desire to live, purpose. Best worn
24 hrs. a day. Electromagnetic. Stronger than Rose Qtz. Solar
plexus, stomach (anxiety), food addictions, anorexia, asthma,
eyesight (especially emotional not-seeing, to avoid pain). thymus.
Open the hand healing Chakras. Specialized uses to detox/heal blood,
liver, cancer. Works in the bathtub to de-stress the body. A fairly
recent discovery in the mineral kingdom. Comes in shades of
orange and pink. Has stripes of various width in shades of white.
Most comes from the US or USSR. A very beneficial stone for those
with asthma or other respiratory illnesses. Helps you filter out
the irritants that trigger respiratory difficulty. Also purifies
the circulatory system and the cleansing organs, especially the
kidneys. Helps you alleviate irrational fears and paranoia.

An often-unrecognized aspect of love is patience. Rhodonite,
while good for any situation which threatens one’s patience,
is especially helpful for the day-to-day annoyances which two
people who live together often face. When the first bloom of
romance fades, and one is left facing the reality that their
dearly beloved partner leaves a trail of crumbs wherever
(s)he goes, or whistles all the time, rhodonite can be helpful.
Helps with confusion, Focus, Peace and Love. “Stone of Love”.
Works with Heart Chakra; helps us express confidence and
lovingness on physical plane in day-to-day ways. Calms and
feeds the soul through the heart; love and service. Soothes
nightmares. Stress, heartache, loss, etc. Ancient use also:
Speech/hearing problems/growth, fear, illness (emphysema,
asthma…) Strengthens mantras, chanting, affirmations,
singing, toning. Use for trauma, confusion, and confidence.
Very beneficial upon the growth of bones and the hearing system.

Red Corundum. Contains chromium (blood sugar balance). Wealth,
Joy, Love, Sexual Energy and Power. Warms, energizes after
exhaustion. Strengthens physical and emotional heart (4th chakra),
love, courage, confidence, vitality, stamina, strength,
leadership, success over challenges. Intensifies all emotions
(passion, jealousy, impatience, love…) Attempted use for
pressure/control (for love) backfires onto user. Used for
reproductive/root Chakra; infections, cholesterol, clots,
blood detox (alcohol, caffeine), sexual blocks. Stimulates
circulation, menses, pituitary healing the earth. This
gemstone must be carefully scrutinized before choosing it
for healing purposes. Classic stone is usually a deep, brilliant
red, but can be found shades of pink or lavender. Found in the US,
India, and Sri Lanka. A powerful stone whose stimulating
energy can bring startling things to light. An amplifier

including love of ourselves. Benefits the heart and circulatory
system, and can assist in the filtration and detoxification of
the body. Also suggested for the eyes. Stimulates motivation

We Are Like Nature
By Madisyn Taylor

As humans our lives are completely intertwined with the cycles and rhythms of nature.
Nature is a mirror, inspiring and teaching us, deepening our sense of belonging in the world. Wherever you look, you can see that our patterns and the patterns of the natural world are the same. You can find this resonance in every form, from molecules to plants and animals and to planets. We live our lives according to the same principles as the trees, the mountains, the clouds, and the birds.

We begin our lives in the womb, folded in on ourselves like the bud of a flower. We can see our whole lives in the mirror of this natural form. When we emerge from the womb, we slowly begin our unfolding, just as the flower begins to open its petals. At its prime, the flower draws many insects to it and also the eyes of appreciative humans. When the flower’s petals begin to fade and its life cycle comes to an end, it ceases to hold itself upright and returns to the earth. Traditionally, we return to the earth, just as all plants and animals do. Like flowers, we leave behind seeds in the forms of children and other gifts only we could have given. They continue to unfold even after we are gone. Rebirth is encoded into our lives, and death is just one part of the cycle.

Look around you, and you will find connection and insight. Notice how your moods shift from one to another like the sky shifts from bright blue to turbulent grays. Your thoughts are like clouds, appearing, changing shape, passing through, and then disappearing without a trace. The rain cleanses the sky, just as an emotional release cleanses your mind. The sky itself is your eternal awareness, unchanging underneath all these permutations. Let it reflect back to you your own abiding perfection.

As you walk through the world, find your own metaphors for connectedness in nature. Flesh them out fully and follow them as they lead you through the mystery and intelligence of life.

If you`re born within cusp period (16 to 26 of any month); you`re advised to read horoscopes of both signs covered by that period. You`re in the border; you may have influences from houses within those signs.

Outlines are longer versions; consists of every possible detail of everyday and based on three parts of each sign: 1st, 2nd & 3rd Decan; that is, any of three divisions of 10° within a sign of the zodiac. Even if you know or don`t know your Decan; I recommend, please read all three Decan.

Personal theme: I am!!
Fire & cardinal sign: March 21 — April 19

Your horoscope for this week:

Having only recently clashed with others over who`s in charge of decisions at home or in your working life, you`re being unusually attentive to the way plans are discussed and organised. Still, you`re dealing with somebody who regards being underhand as ordinary. Knowing that, carefully detail, and perhaps even write out, any agreements. This may be tedious but it ensures there`ll be no confusion later.

A promotion or new job will have a transformative effect on your career. At long last, you`ll be able to exercise your leadership ability in an effective way. Transforming a struggling department will be a welcome challenge. You`ll enjoy bringing out the best in workers who were discouraged by the previous regime. Take care not to neglect your family at this pivotal time. By spending quality time with your nearest and dearest, you can handle public pressure.

Without wishing to be negative, it would perhaps be wise to anticipate some bruising encounters in the next seven days. True, you might enjoy these challenges. It is, after all, only when there is a challenge that you show how brave and courageous you want to be. The difficulty this time though is that the challenge could be a legal one. If it`s not that, then it will certainly be something that challenges your brain cells. You may need to work within rules and regulations with which you`re not wholly familiar. It won`t help that these are so entrenched and built around old models that they seem antiquated and even, at times, ridiculous. Yet you`re not one to be defeated. By next Friday and with the assistance of someone whose perspective is very different indeed, you could come up with a creative solution which, though it will surely need to be tested again next week, could yet provide a way forward.

———— ———– ———- ——— ——– ——- —— —– —- — — –

Personal theme: I have!!
Earth & fixed sign: April 20 — May 20

Your horoscope for this week:

It`s not that you`ve been secretive as much as you`ve mistakenly assumed others have kept up with recent developments. Even a simple exchange of ideas will reveal how ill-informed they are, which, in turn, means you must educate them, but as diplomatically as possible. While this will require a Taurus-style charm offensive, and considerable patience combined with tact, it will be worth the effort.

Your academic achievements could be significant. You might get an advanced degree or pass a test with flying colours. If you`re not involved with any formal tests or assessments, you could find success comes to you in other ways. Any way you slice it, you`ll be advancing to a higher level of achievement. Don`t get caught up in petty problems. If a gadget breaks, take it in your stride. Enjoy being unplugged from the modern world.

You surely won`t be alone in having regrets about problems being faced. It might seem to you that all of these are unnecessary. Yet we are where we are and yes, your workload could increase yet again. Challenge could come from someone from a very different generation or even from those who practice a different belief system to your own. By Friday, Venus` (your ruling planet`s day of the week), you could have find compromise. One of the very interesting features of the next few days is that you may well feel at home in a place that isn`t actually your home. It`s probable however that you will feel sufficiently secure that you can air thoughts that have been incubating for the best part of the year. It`s entirely possible that before the end of this month these will be ready for action and well supported by someone who`s been looking for a new pathway to showcase their talents and thinks that you could provide it.

———— ———– ———- ——— ——– ——- —— —– —- — — –

Personal theme: I think!!
Air sign: May 21 — June 20

Your horoscope for this week:

Between the current powerful planetary focus in the wise use of your resources, which accents everything from your ideas and contacts to your money, and today`s emotionally unsettling Full Moon, you`re wrestling with a number of issues. Urgent as these seem, for now, focus on talking over your intentions, with an eye to ensuring those who matter know what you have in mind. Everything else can wait.

Money from an inheritance, legal settlement or dividend will allow you to make some impressive changes. Buying a home or car will cultivate the financial security you crave. Despite this windfall, you should be resourceful with earned income. Get into the habit of putting a portion of each pay packet into savings. Having a financial cushion will help you rest and relax. Spending time with your family will be rewarding; they`ll ease your restless energy.

It`s likely that many people will experience a hangover after Sunday`s Full Moon. Weekend tensions could last into the beginning of the week. Of course, it`s possible that you are waiting for someone to make a decision about their future. You may feel that only once you know what they`re going to do that you can move forward. It might seem to others however that you`re playing mind games. One of the major challenges of the next few days may be to let others know that you accept rules of engagement, – even when these feels so restrictive. Know however that the planets do move on and that there will come a point when you`re freed from these boundaries. Note too, that what you learn this week could provide useful ammunition for the end of the month when negotiations should take an interesting twist. A strong possibility is that you have to give attention to the small print of a document. It may be that a penalty clause has to be invoked.

———— ———– ———- ——— ——– ——- —— —– —- — — –

Personal theme: I feel!!
Water & cardinal sign: June 21 — July 22

Your horoscope for this week:

When you first decided to sidestep perplexing issues, they weren`t that important but, even more, you had no idea how to deal with them. Now, not only are these matters common knowledge, there`s considerable confusion about facts versus falsehoods. While raising these won`t be easy, it`s better than taking a chance others will believe some of the tall tales being told by certain individuals.

A business or romantic partnership will put you in a position of power. You`ve been blessed with impressive leadership ability. Take this opportunity to expand people`s access to valuable resources. Nothing makes you feel better than helping the most vulnerable members of society. When it comes to dealing with a difficult client, patient or customer, it`s best to defer to their needs. Insisting on doing things your way will result in an unfortunate loss.

It`s likely you`ve now reached a major turning point. Sunday`s Full Moon in your opposite sign is part of a complicated planetary picture involving Pluto. You can think of Pluto as a seed that`s planted well below ground. In this instance, something that began around 18 months ago could gather strength. A clear difficulty however might be making arrangements to follow this up. There may be transport difficulties or problems with time management. It`s possible too that you might need to look after someone who`s been sick but who is now in long-term recovery. Career-wise all could be changing too. Significant developments are possible this week though a tangible offer might not be made much before the end of the month. For now, it might be prudent to show just how serious and committed you are to the quality of work that began in late September last year and which is still not concluded.

———— ———– ———- ——— ——– ——- —— —– —- — — –

Personal theme: I will!!
Fire & fixed sign: July 23 — August 22

Your horoscope for this week:

Acknowledging that, as much as you care about certain situations and the individuals involved, you`ve little control isn`t easy for you, as a proud Leo. Yet this also frees you to back off, and either allow those who can take the reins to do so or, and this may be best, recognise that there are times when you must leave matters in the hands of destiny.

Overcoming a health challenge will cause you to breathe a sigh of relief. You`ve worked hard to give your body the support it needs to thrive. Now that you`ve cleared this obstacle, you`ll be able to move on to more rewarding pursuits. Someone who invades your privacy needs to be kept at a distance. This pest is trying to find a chink in your armour. Although you`re annoyed by this probing, it`s important to know who is your friend and who is your enemy.

The week begins with a Full Moon that could prove challenging for all signs. You might not be the only one with a mild hangover on Monday. It might seem to you that the ground has been pulled from underneath you. Trying to work out what someone`s agenda is might not be at all easy. It`s possible that they don`t yet know themselves. Yet another factor may be that you feel your leisure time is being curtailed or that transportation difficulties will similarly limit options. Finding ways around all this could prove challenging. Yet, as they say, what you `lose on the swings you could gain on the roundabouts`. Before the weekend, – and perhaps with the assistance of someone you don`t see very often, – you could be re-enthused about a subject. You might also discover over the weekend that there are layers of information yet to be probed. Whilst you might prefer to do this in partnership, it`s more likely you`ll achieve much by going it alone.

———— ———– ———- ——— ——– ——- —— —– —- — — –

Personal theme: I analyse!!
Earth sign: August 23 — September 22

Your horoscope for this week:

Between your ruler Mercury positioned in the most strategic portion of your chart, and today`s Full Moon rousing vulnerable feelings about relations with family, friends or loved ones, you`re unsure what to do. In every case, the answer is to bide your time and instead wait and watch. What you learn will answer numerous questions and, better yet, guide you to your next step.

You`ll reach a creative milestone that fills you with pride. Instead of resting on your laurels, you`ve worked hard to develop your natural talent. Consequently, you`ve generated some work that has surpassed even your expectations. Go out and celebrate. Friends may seem indifferent to this victory. That`s because many of them don`t understand how difficult it was to reach this level of mastery. Making friends with fellow artists will help heal this pain.

Self-investment looks to be a big theme as this week begins. In partnership, it may be possible to move forward. Note however that Saturn continues its slow journey across the base of your solar chart and lift-off may not be possible just yet. It could be argued however that this is the perfect time the laying down ground work. Foundations placed before Saturday 22nd should prove robust. You might also find that you have information or books that now have value. It may be possible to turn these into cash. A slight variation on this would be the discovery that long archived papers are a treasure store and life affirming. In particular, you could be reminded of a talent you showed in childhood. In short, this week could be about confidence building.

———— ———– ———- ——— ——– ——- —— —– —- — — –

Personal theme: I balance!!
Air & cardinal sign: September 23 — October 22

Your horoscope for this week:

While you delight in hearing about what others are doing and discovering, you`ve felt uneasy about exploring even minor changes; but with a growing emphasis on new ideas, places and people and today`s Full Moon accenting the need to rethink your domestic or working life, the time has come to consider your options. Although you won`t commit to anything right away, what you learn will be inspiring.

Big changes are occurring on the home front. You might relocate to a radically different area. It`s possible you`ll buy a new home. If you`re happy where you live, you could make extensive improvements to your current abode. The demands of your career may be too much to bear. Instead of trying to satisfy all the demands being hurled at you, try cutting back your work schedule. Taking a lower level job will remove the pressure off your shoulders.

This could prove a challenging week – and at many levels. Following on from Sunday`s Full Moon you may be aware of opportunities you`d never considered. Away from career, you might also be drawing a line under a family matter that`s preoccupied you for the better part of a decade. All this is likely to be thought provoking. Make notes and keep a diary. Before Friday you could build on contacts made. True, there may be either technical or language difficulties to overcome. This you can do. Indeed, with the assistance of someone with whom you`ve been developing a business relationship since at least September of last year, you could put together the outline of a business plan that has considerable potential. Given the high probability of you moving off in a different direction around your birthday this year, determining what does and what does not bring pleasure in your working life would clearly be useful. Again, make notes: these will have considerable value in a few weeks.

Scorpio & Ophiuchus
Personal theme: I desire!!
Water & fixed signs: October 23 — November 21

Your horoscope for this week:

Since mid-June you`ve been facing a combination of situations and, often, individuals, all of which have threatened to take over some portion of your life. While, you`ve fought these off, you`re beginning to recognise that what, only weeks ago, seemed colossally unwise may actually be a good idea. Ironically, you`re welcoming events that are forcing you to give these serious time and thought.

Monumental news will arrive, changing your outlook. Now that a surprising turn of events has occurred, you will have to alter your course. It may not be possible to travel or earn an advanced degree. Instead of dwelling on your disappointment, find another rewarding way to fill your time. Getting involved with a local organisation will be lots of fun. Not only will you be able to make improvements to your community, but you`ll make good friends.

This week begins with a Full Moon that could prove challenging for many. Those of your sign could buck this trend however. It`s arguably true that you`re at your best when forced to take action. Instinctively you seem to know how to make the best of difficult situations. Your approach is likely to be applauded – and needed. That said, strong aspects involving Saturn, still passing through neighbouring Sagittarius, suggests you may need to dig deep into reserves of both cash and energy. You may feel that you`re under some time limitation and need to get certain tasks accomplished before the weekend. Midst all this, and as someone makes clear that they`ve finished with an item or product, you could see ways of turning waste to treasure. To make room for this, you might consider letting go of books and papers that are now redundant.

———— ———– ———- ——— ——– ——- —— —– —- — — –

Personal theme: I see!!
Fire sign: November 22 — December 21

Your horoscope for this week:

Few things irritate you more than those who seem to think behind the scenes manoeuvres give them more control and keep others, including you, from knowing what`s going on. Tempting as it is to confront the individuals in question, bide your time. Within days they`ll realise they don`t know as much as they thought, and will be forced by events to ask for your advice.

An impressive moneymaking offer will arrive. At long last, you`ll be able to establish the financial security you desire. If you`re drowning in debt, craft a plan for paying your bills by a certain date. It may take months or years to fulfil these obligations, but don`t panic. Having a clear path to follow will relieve your anxiety about the future. It won`t be necessary to live on a tight budget. It`s simply a matter of keeping control of expenses.

It might be as well to view this week as being one of intense self-discovery. Following on from Sunday`s Full Moon you could temporarily feel at a loss for words. That need to retreat and consider assets at every level seems set to increase before next weekend. It may be that you no longer feel to be on the same wavelength as someone with whom you once shared working responsibilities. That said, your expertise might yet be needed. A long-distance conversation on Friday could prove inspirational. You might then be prompted to dig out old material and assess its real value. It may be that you have a particular knowledge that is yet to come to full prominence.

———— ———– ———- ——— ——– ——- —— —– —- — — –

Personal theme: I use!!
Earth & cardinal sign: December 22 — January 19

Your horoscope for this week:

As a down to earth Capricorn, you`re usually able to rein in the heightened feelings triggered by each month`s Full Moon; but because today`s is in your sign, the odds are good you`ve been wrestling with both your own doubts and unspoken feelings, of both love and issues that involve others. Challenging as discussing these openly may be, ultimately, you`ll be glad you did.

You`ll be given an award for all the hard work you have performed. People are impressed by your ability to maintain your composure in stressful situations. If you`ve outgrown a job or political position, feel free to leave. The best is yet to be. Your best friend, romantic partner or business associate will urge you to maintain the status quo. Although you want to please them, it`s better to follow your own instincts. Follow your heart and don`t look back.

Sunday`s Full Moon is in your sign. A day later the Sun opposes Pluto – also travelling through your sign. This then could be a defining period. Though you might not be enchanted by the work that is come your way and irritated immensely by transport difficulties between Wednesday and the weekend, you could yet make some interesting and useful connections. It`s very likely that your role as a teacher or guide is now recognised. Though you may not be entirely comfortable in this position, – and certainly not if something must be achieved by a particular deadline, – you might agree that you are the best person for the task. It might help before next weekend to arrange an after-hours meeting in an attempt to understand someone`s background and motivation.

———— ———– ———- ——— ——– ——- —— —– —- — — –

Personal theme: I know!!
Air & fixed sign: January 20 — February 18

Your horoscope for this week:

The last thing you`re in the mood for is reassuring others while they struggle with dramas that, from your perspective, would be regarded as breakthroughs, ones you`d rather enjoy exploring. While you`ll be tempted to tell them that now, obviously, you`d regret it; but, bizarrely, wait until mid-month, and they`ll not only see your point, to your delight, they`ll ask you to get involved.

A spiritual breakthrough will occur at a dark moment. Breaking away from an oppressive situation will be liberating. A bitter enemy will issue empty threats. Don`t be afraid of the fallout. Your stellar reputation will protect you from unfair accusations. When you become frustrated by the gossip being generated about you, take some exercise. You have a tendency to overanalyse problems. A brisk walk or a trip to the gym will clear your head.

The after effects of Sunday`s Full Moon could be felt for several days. Others may be shocked by decisions. Even your logical and pragmatic brain could go into meltdown. What might be obvious to you is that certain people are so engaged in drama that they`re failing to see the long-term implications of their behaviour. You might need to remind them – and more than once, that these times too will pass. Bear in mind that the approaching solar eclipse at the end of next month is in your opposite sign. It`s very likely that those whom you know well are in fact in the process of realignment. They may well go off in different directions by September. In short, there may be little you can trust presently. That said, in observing the antics of those who seem so fixed in their approach, you might also pick up clues as to where they are likely to be headed in a few months`. That in turn, could give you ideas as to how best to position yourself.

———— ———– ———- ——— ——– ——- —— —– —- — — –

Personal theme: I believe!!
Water sign: February 19 — March 20

Your horoscope for this week:

You`ve faced a series of weeks during which you`ve witnessed once-prized elements of your life, activities or alliances come undone, and often without good reason. Now, however, you realise these so-called losses were actually clearing the way for the new, and often rather thrilling ideas and offers currently coming your way. Promising as these are, don`t agree too soon. There`s more yet to appear.

A group project will come to fruition. Don`t be surprised when the team awards you the title of most valuable player. Your ability to bring opposing sides together in a spirit of friendship has been invaluable. Although you enjoy working with this group, it shouldn`t affect your personal life. Take time away from work for the sake of a romantic or family outing. Going on a vacation or just taking time out should take precedence over a big meeting.

Coinciding with Sunday`s Full Moon well-kept secrets could be exposed. The true situation around a power struggle may be apparent. Much as you might enjoy the drama of it all, fact is that some people could be badly affected by decisions taken. The self-serving behaviour of certain people should be apparent. It might be prudent for you to think carefully as to how much you`re prepared to deal with given that the mess these people create may be considerable. Of course, things could go entirely the other way, and you could be the one throwing your toys out of the pram early in the week. If that`s the case, then don`t be surprised if you`re asked to pick them up yourself before the weekend. In short, this promises to be a very messy few days. Entrenched positions most likely can`t be held and at some point, arbitration will be necessary. Though it`s probably not your job to be the referee, you could involve someone who is perfect for the role.
