Moringa oleifera is also known as horseradish tree, ben tree, or drumstick tree. The tree originates from India, and has been used for generations in Eastern countries to treat and prevent disease.
Moringa contains proteins, vitamins, and minerals. It is also an antioxidant that seems to help protect cells from damage.
It can be taken as a nutritional supplement.

Indications and usage: used for anemia, arthritis and other joint pain, asthma, constipation, diabetes, diarrhea, epilepsy, stomach pain, stomach and intestinal ulcers, intestinal spasms, headache, heart problems, high blood pressure, kidney stones, fluid retention, thyroid disorders, and bacterial, fungal, viral, and parasitic infections.
Moringa is also used to reduce swelling, increase sex drive (as an aphrodisiac), prevent pregnancy, boost the immune system, and increase breast milk production.
Moringa is sometimes applied directly to the skin as a germ-killer or drying agent (astringent). It is also used topically for treating pockets of infection (abscesses), athlete’s foot, dandruff, gum disease (gingivitis), snakebites, warts, and wounds.
Dosage*: You can add moringa to your smoothie or drink it as a tea. You can even add moringa to cooked meals, although it is recommended that you add it after cooking to avoid losing vitamin content. You can use 1-2 tabespoons of powdered moringa, or 100g or less of the dried leaves daily.
